Great work on Netflix series ‘You’!
I love the last comment by Blake in this video, because this is the exact thing I've been thinking of since I heard about Soundpaint: What will happen with legato instruments? I mean, imagine having infinite round robins and 127 velocity layers on strings, brass and winds legatos. My goodness!!! I'm also very excited to hear what staccato, staccatissimo, pizzicato and other short notes will sound like, with infinite round robins and 127 velocity layers. After playing the 1928 Steinway today, I realize that all those non-wanted samples, that used to interfere with the performance and somewhat ruin the creativity juice before, were totally gone in Soundpaint. It will be so wonderful when this happens with short notes on orchestral instruments. Currently you always have to try and mask out those samples that comes back and in some way stand out from the rest of the samples in a round robin circle. Those days will soon be gone. Not only will it save time, but most importantly it will make the process so much more satisfying. Also a big thank you to you Blake for your insightful comments in this video. / Daniel
The "morphing" feature sounds fascinating! Really looking forward to trying this out.
Every day we try to push the envelope. It´s always great to find something truly inspiring.
Loved this interview.
would love to see his workflow with Soundpaint
I love 1928 Vintage Steinway Grand. It's Incredible!
The guy that contacted Mythodea .What a godly talented man. (now send it to Vangelis to check his reaction :P although he's not using any computers )
just listening to his score for The attendant ..... the score will fit ssoundpaint's mission perfectly
can you get him to publish the score for the documentary "The Keepers"? so far, there is only the theme song on youtube but none of the other instrumentals from the series. Would be appreciated!
I am a fan of Soundpaint after just a few days. Their prices are very generous which for me will likely buy most of what is in their library. Thus far I have the new Saxophone, PRS guitar and Bass and all are fantastic. The Saxophone will have you sitting their playing solos forgetting to record.
can someone please tell me the name of this piece x
This is Trust with a sampled instrument.
Load time is so fast
