Hi Aldina, I agree that it is important to cultivate happiness in there here and now rather than looking for it in some future event or circumstance. It is alright and human to look forward to things, but in doing so we have to be careful not to miss out on all of the gifts and opportunities that are happening in the present, both for their own sake and because the future itself unfolds from the present. I also agree that it is helpful to see challenges as opportunities to learn and grow, though this is difficult because we don't want to be so laden down with challenges that we have a hard time being happy or seeing the silver lining. If things were too easy we would get bored and stagnate but we don't want things to be onerously difficult 24/7, so we exercise our agency to make life as enjoyable as possible while dealing with the unforeseen challenges that are almost certain to arise in a way that we can use those challenges as fuel for further growth and higher levels of understanding and happiness. I hope you are doing well and thank you for posting!
You’re so right, it’s more than okay to look forward to things! But it’s so important to stay grounded and not miss all the great things that we have in each moment by focusing on what may happen in the future. I’ve just found that living in each moment, whether it be easy or difficult, has lessened my anxiety and brought me much more peace. Thanks for watching!
Hello Aldina, thank you for your wise words. I'd like to share with you that I am doing way better in my recovery from this last relapse into codependency thanks to my support group. Blessings to you and to all your followers.
I’m so happy that you’re doing better! Sometimes we just need the extra support to get through things, and I’m so happy you’ve found that. Thank you for watching and blessings to you as well!
thanks for being helpful. I'm happy enough but sometimes I can't help tipping their boat if they bait me. not always and it does give a little satisfaction to be honest. I try to minimize these kinds of events.
Depression and Anxiety can be the beginning of peace and enlightenment. Yikes, I'm first again! St Paul said it best: Saint Paul says that suffering produces endurance, which in turn produces character, and character produces hope: Paul's message is that believers can endure difficult circumstances. Jesus talks about being like refined Gold
Yes! You are the happiness you seek. You are what you are looking for.
Another great video, Aldina! Thanks 🙏❤
Thank you for watching ❤️
