There used to be a shop called Woodhouse off Oxford Street that sold good designers too. It looked like it was down the same narrow walk way you went down.
Another great video Hox . Your honest opinion and the fact you used to work there helps. It makes you wonder how much these brands give Selfridges to sell their garbage. 9k for a jacket??? Absolute shite. Even if that brand gets any clout from the UK music scene you will only get stabbed and robbed for wearing it 🤦

Never been a fan myself of this shop the moncler section is rubbish the stone island has about ten bits on the rack and always highest prices u could posibly pay
Prices are ridiculous in this day and age, glad i kept all my stone island jumpers and ice jackets i got in the mid 90’s.

I used to work in a clothes shop & some things were taken off the floor going into sales and recycled into the next season when the sale was over. Do you know if this happened/happens with Selfridges?
Great video! Always worth going into these type shops to try sizing on! I’ve just been flannels and brought a belstaff sweatshirt great quality and had go up a size.
After trying so many jackets and retuning them from online sites.
Brought a para jumpers puffer sheen jacket and had to go up a size but quality seems top.
stone island is just getting silly now. i bought ny down jacket a few years ago for like 600 which at the time i thought was a bit excessive. its now best part of a grand. 40% mark up, let be realistic. its a plastic jacket stuffed with feathers from a duck.
Wow that brown stone island over shirt, I had one in black 25 years ago. I am sure it was just over £100. Those prices are crazy.

I think my current favourite brand for affordable coats are Berghaus.
I currently just don't have the money for Canada Goose type prices at the moment. Maybe in the future I'll have that money, but I'd probably buy a different brand if Canada Goose's quality is not what it was.
I still got my Berghaus Gore-Tex jacket an it's still sick. I remember it was waterproof clobber bk in the day Rockport with nice pair of Armani jeans an a Berghaus jacket lol. Online shopping has removed the need for a Selfridges. It's a loss making business especially now since the tourism tax free shopping was removed.
I'm so glad to have realized that these name brand clothes are a complete and utter ripoff, wearing this overpriced garbage literally does nothing for anyone but the billionaire making them.

I like belstaff but always go to outlets and wait for the sales ! Problem I have with all the designer brands is the mark up for everyone who loves a designer brand I’m sure if they new what it cost to make the products it would definitely change there mind set.
It's a shame the way stone island is going. I've been a fan since I was a teenager but the last 2 years I've not bought anything at all. I've gone towards belstaff and ten c now.

Selfridge's is a tourist's shop now.
All the brands like Palm Angels etc start off well and then get rinsed and become unpopular as quickly as they became popular.

Moose Knuckles coats are better then Moncler and Canada Goose. I brought a Canada Goose coat for £949.00 and I look after all my stuff. The Canada Goose was flimsy and not very good so I took it back. Very disappointed with the Quality on the New Canada Goose item's.

I’d say Ten C need some love. Sure their prices are silly taut at least the quality is super high and they do some super durable pieces. Most these high ticket brands have had a huge drop off in quality but a crazy hike in prices.
