Babbel definitely teaches you a lot more than Duolingo. But you can complete whole courses for free on Duolingo (and they offer a variety of different languages), whereas babbel always costs sth. So there are always pros and cons. I'd say Busuu is a great app for beginners as well. The best way to learn a language is to switch up different apps, books, and resources (in my opinion) 😊
