Excellent modelling work!!! This is really a great tutorial!!! Thanks so much for showing how to build from scratch, the entire abandoned yard technique, and applying the tall grass with the electro static grass applicator. (I had long wanted to build abandoned yard track areas, for my Subway layout). Thanks so much for sharing.
Looks great! I like how you made the grass tuffs on a separate board. I don’t know how it is we’re you live but we get a lot of garbage in abandoned areas and along the side of the road. Don’t forget garbage and newspapers! I once scraped the paint off a piece of wood I was using as a pallet. The tiny flecks of paint looked like pits of plastic and debris. I don’t waste anything! I can’t wait to see the addition of the engine.
WOW! Very impressive results...well worth watching...learned alot! Thanks for posting this, now if you'll excuse me, I'm going down to the basement to try my hand at it.....✌😁
hint: around bushes, grass is usually taller, greener and darker (sometimes the opposite, depending on species and ground). Lots of different interaction with water, light, grazing/stepping, cutting
Thanks for your feedback! I did this deliberately. I wanted it to look like an abandoned yard. In this case, I don't think the same ambience can be achieved with less vegetation.
Besser geht's nicht!! Danke für's Zeigen!!
A video speaks a thousand words....brilliant...well done
Amazing! Fantastic! 👍🏼🚉🚂
What delicate work, but so realistic and enhances the scenery - thank you for sharing.
