The 24-hour news cycle paired with social media and the internet has made the lies obvious. Legacy media is dying, in my opinion, because a) attention spans have shortened and b) because it's too easy to fact check in real time and verify the partisanship. If you watch that whole interview of the audience - CNN tried to tilt the answers one direction It failed. At the end, the moderator asked if they would vote for Trump. What he didn't do is say - if it was between Trump and Biden, who would you vote for? I bet the answers would've all been Trump.
Until I saw this, I hadn't realized that town halls were adversarial proceedings...
