I did the same thing with my alice except i also cut a piece of 1/2 oak dowel and tucked it in the fram pocket and then wraped paracord around the dowel where the pocket is open in the middle and the top of the molle frame. Super solid connection now and i have some spare paracord also if i need it.
I salvaged a pair of tri glides off of an old shopping cart. Works on Hellcat Alice just fine. And Hellcat MOLLE as well. I now use my MOLLE 2 bag with 4 pouches as a crewman's equipment bag. They're advertized on several sites for 80-100$. But the commercial sites are all out of stock.
one the most important videos in the mil-surplus backpack community also, face reveal at 3:29 its kinda funny because i always thought you were bald or something similar and it seems i hit the nail on that one lmao, good video man,now we need the video of that frame mod being tested in the field
@@thatpackguy sold everything, starting from zero,i had some stuff happen to me recently,im going tru a lot but i hope i can get some new gear in the following months and maybe do that damn review already
It's a yoke by Eagle Industries that was advertized as being compatible with the 1606 frame, but it really wasn't..the only one that it works with is actually the 1603 frame
Congratulations! Simple solutions that are reversible are usually the best - and result in the least damages at turn-in time.
Cheers my man!

Triglides off a shopping cart?! Yes that seems to be the going rate but there are still deals to be had!
@@thatpackguy These were free. Buckles too. A store had them in a big mess. Transitioning to plastic carts, plus damaged carts.
