Hello ! I may compare these later on. I have a video about the Chessnut Evo on my channel. The Evo is ofcourse more expensive, has piece recognition and in built screen, it's more customizable than the Chessup and you're able to install Chess apps like Chess Dojo. Chessup is great for beginners and learners, and it's more simple to use, but lags some features that Evo has. They'll soon release Chessup 2 with inbuilt wifi. You may want to wait for that, or else choose the Evo. If you want to play against harder engines and be able to get more updated features, the Evo may be your best option. Both of them can be used for online play lichess and chess.com Hope this helps! Thanks for your comment!
Nope, it's not a mechanical board. For that, you would need to look at the square off chess board "Grand Kingdom", there are newer brands starting on kickstarter.
Many thanks for this. How it compares with Chessnut Evo? Want to buy one of them, but don’t know which. Any recommendation? Or a video comparing them?
