As I said in the video's description, this is my favorite song. Many people might consider it boring compared to a lot of my other uploads, but I love this little gem in all of its glorious simplicity. I've been saving this picture especially for this one considering how well they go together. Beautiful and uplifting on certain days. . . depressing and ominous on others. Hopefully you guys enjoy it as much as I do : )
This song sure has a "simple" feeling , but to me it seems nit simple at all! The melodic patterns They fit together perfectly even tho they seem to have different metrics, at least to my hearing..
The story goes that this and the other 8 songs on the EP were planned on being released as Analogue Bubblebath 5 so test pressings were made. Richard then decided the album wasn't as good as the others and halted the release process. Skip ahead 10 years to the release of Analord 10. There were 20 people who preordered the album and never received it. Rephlex surprised them by not only sending them the Analord release but also including a copy of Analogue Bubblebath 5.
Read the description and the second comment from the top by the uploader. It was a very very limited release, only as bonus material for people who pre-ordered copies of Analord and didn’t receive them. So they got these as a present for getting their albums late. Pretty nice gift, huh?!
This is last and best track from ABB5. It's a culmination of the strings and sparse electronic beats/sounds that pervade the entire album. Some parts remind me of Universal Indicator, other parts remind me of GAK and I Care Because You Do. It's one of my favorite albums never released by AFX, thanks for posting.
ICBYD, Sine Waves, some tracks from the AB series and donkey rhubarb have similar sounds so I'm guessing he had particular gear to make those, then he changed his style in 1996 and 1997 (girl/boy ep and come to daddy)
I'm sure there are some forgeries out there but this is definitely Richard. Pressings of this were made in 1995 and then again in 2005. Less than 100 official LP's actually exist and no plans for a CD or any other kind of release have ever been planned. What amazes me is that Richard didn't want this released because he didn't think it was good enough. I for one would pre-order this without hesistation :D

Gotta disagree with RDJ on this. These are great!

it's a little hard to find one exactly song in this album (analogue bubblebath vol 5) because they are all named "untitled"
Agreed, very frustrating, had to find a random playlist just to save it to my playlist
This track rocks and so does your channel. GJ.
Thanks for the up. Never heard this one but it's one of the best!!
