Can you tell me a good way to train for better internal energy. I am not aiming so much to be a great fighter but I think having control over relaxation and internal chi will benefit me everywhere. Any ideas how to prepare myself and training practices.
why there is no much videos or teachings about the third form of wing chun? and Is it really a secret technique where it only taught behind closed doors?
Have a question on last segment. You said to be calm. Ok I have been practicing my meditation for anger a lot over 5 years. Would if someone you love knows your anger very well and knows how to use it against you. How do I fix that for no one can break that. Is practicing qi gong 3 times of week is answer. Go outside for something else for help. I want that peace n control
what I said in the short clip, is superficial, the ability to change shift state asap when angry - its a effective trick but still superficial. On a deeper level in my personal practice, I would work through the issue of why I am angry and how to resolve it, a meditative mindset is very useful for that - a good therapist is also recommend for some people . Secondly for me, I am not sure if I would ever surround myself with people who would use anything against me on purpose. It is not possible for me to really give a meaningful answer unless I know someone personally , every case is different, I have lots of talks with my students in person BUT On youtube I can only stay on the surface due to the fact that I don't know the person. In that regard, its the same as martial arts demo on youtube
From my own experience, anger is just an energy. If you're aware of it, and don't repress it you can transform the energy. Sort of like redirecting force. It can used for creativity or just heightening your own awareness. We are human beings and I don't think it's possible to never feel anger, because anger is just the one spectrum of energy. Unless you want to become a robot, or a corpse, you'll still feel anger in some degree, maybe more in some cases, maybe less in others. On a deep level, you are just consciousness experiencing anger, the anger is not really you. You can step back from it and not let it affect you but still be aware of it. It's not repressing the anger, but rather watching and observing it.
Thanks alot sensei Adam. You teach the best way
I like it. Youre not iust showing techniques but really the whole aspect of combat too. Staying calm, and the mindset behind it. Keep it up sir 👍👊😊
Siu lim tao... applying the basics...and very important, learning to be calm in the eye of the storm. Good drills and great teaching!

Adam, Do you have videos of you doing chi-sau with your student? Like to see how this applies when a person has some sensitivity...
