This is gonna be my first ever comment on youtube, and i just knew it HAD to be on jacks channel. Jack literally got me through the toughest part of my life, and you can only imagine how amazed i was when i discovered he did music along with his animation his main channel. I like how simple the lyrics are, yet jack made them just as entertaining as a small book you picked up in the waiting room. His music makes me think of how cluttered a persons mind can be, especially mine. And he just freely says every sentence that comes to mind. Coherent or not. A single thought or one stemming from another thought. It all really itches my brain. Thank you Jack

About a year ago I found his music. I listened to it when I was feeling down which was almost all the time, it helped me and made me feel comforted. I still listen to his music and watch his videos when I am feeling sad or something has happened, which isnt often thankfully but it is still very comforting and it lifts my mood.
That’s exactly what got me hooked on him his music helped with my ptsd and depression even tho his songs make me “feel” my emotions by crying lmao or laughing or just being content I wouldn’t have it any other way
I played my family some of your songs like Safe Socks and Oh Klahoma. They just didn't get it so I told them how much they were missing out on. Jack, you are by far the best artist I've ever listened to.
I've listened to this album 5 times now and it's completely stuck in my head. This music is so mesmerizing; I wasn't even born in the 80's and this feels nostalgic. I seriously love your work, Jack! Keep it up 'cause the world needs more stuff like this.

I don't listen to music much, but holy shit man! I randomly stumbled upon this and I gotta say, this is some good shit. I don't know what genre this would be, or any artists that do songs like this, so if anyone knows hit me up!
Spoiler : She's dead I listened a lot to this album in August 2018 when I went on a small cruise with my mom. She always wanted to go on a cruise but we didn't have the time and a few things had happened between us in the last year that made me extremely distant towards her. The cruise was basically just an entire day. It was from Montreal to Quebec city. My phone wasn't working properly because I tried to take a video too deep in a pool so I used my tablet a lot That's what I used to listen to this album and another one of Jack's albums I guess it was fun enough? The first day in the cruise was alright. I opened up to my mom about being bisexual (but now, I'm not that much into girls anymore) She finally looked great too. She's been really sick since I was born. Her hair was always thin but now it looked healthy. She got dentures I think? Her teeth were always bad so that was much better too. But she was still quite sick. One time I really needed to hold her so she wouldn't fall during the cruise Then a week later she died. I feel bad. Our last day during the cruise wasn't that great and I was annoyed at her. She's just the kind of person that if you stay with them too long they really get on your nerves. In that week I wasn't texting her too much. Empty replies with a few longer ones here and there. The night she died I replied back telling her "sweet dreams" just a minute or 2 after she sent it to me. Did she see? Her body was left there for a week and a half. I wasn't the one finding her but when I went in the apartment to get my cats and other things, the floor was all black and the maggots were still alive. It's funny. She was always into morbid things. Saying that when she dies her cats are gonna eat her face, which probably happened. These songs are so inside of my head right now. i mean i didn't listened to these songs more than 5 times and never really finished the album but somehow i know %80 of the lyrics for the last 3 years. They just dont get out of my head. i listened to some songs more than 50 times but can't think of their lyrics as good as these. This is why Jack stauber and his music is a big part of me. i guess i know these songs because 4 years before when this album came out i was happy and so many things changed in the last 4 years. When i think about my happy times, these songs come to my mind and i kinda repeat them every time when i think about the past. Really nostalgic songs for me
I don't know a whole lot about music, I make very little and I'm still a beginner, but it's crazy creative what Jack's doing here. Lots of dissonance unresolved by consonance while still maintaining a relatable rhythm and harmony... it's incredibly difficult. Buttercup, Dog Nightmare, I Love You Verne Troyer, I Understand, have such an interesting flare to them I cant describe. The album reaches so far in both chill songs and the more pressing beats. Also Jack is an immensely talented singer. If I had to put a term to it it's like his voice has an oscillator or tremolo in certain times and its just fantastic, never really heard it before. So much auteur talent and love was clearly put into this. It's not perfect, but it's still pretty awesome. Thank you for gracing us with this album Jack!
hey man, i have really bad anxiety and live in tornado valley and just. a lot's been going on the past year or two, and your music is so calming - it's a coping method for me. i become a fan of your stuff early 2017, and when you announced your full-length album i was extremely excited. now it's a November night and there's a tornado and i feel weirdly lonely, but i have your music. and it helps. a lot. don't ever stop what you're doing, my dude, you're really talented.
I used live there, and there hasn't been tornadoes there until recently. I moved from there to Nevada in October in 2018. But yeah, it shouldn't be scary if it doesn't hit you haha.

This might sound like I’m high but oh well. I closed my eyes and lied in bed listening to this. Pop food brought me to a bouncy place with colors. Around koi boy is where things took a turn where I watched rain hit a window while drinking a nice warm drink. When he whispers “you’re probably asleep” I got goose bumps and rode the wave back to shore. 70% sure I’m sober. But 10/10 album. Almost like Pink Floyd where it brings me to places only imaginable.

I just came back to your page and while listening to your song it brings back memories..Thank you for making my life wonderful.
About a year ago I found his music. I listened to it when I was feeling down which was almost all the time, it helped me and made me feel comforted. I still listen to his music and watch his videos when I am feeling sad or something has happened, which isnt often thankfully but it is still very comforting and it lifts my mood.
That’s exactly what got me hooked on him his music helped with my ptsd and depression even tho his songs make me “feel” my emotions by crying lmao or laughing or just being content I wouldn’t have it any other way

I listened a lot to this album in August 2018 when I went on a small cruise with my mom. She always wanted to go on a cruise but we didn't have the time and a few things had happened between us in the last year that made me extremely distant towards her.
The cruise was basically just an entire day.
It was from Montreal to Quebec city.
My phone wasn't working properly because I tried to take a video too deep in a pool so I used my tablet a lot
That's what I used to listen to this album and another one of Jack's albums
I guess it was fun enough? The first day in the cruise was alright. I opened up to my mom about being bisexual (but now, I'm not that much into girls anymore)
She finally looked great too. She's been really sick since I was born. Her hair was always thin but now it looked healthy. She got dentures I think? Her teeth were always bad so that was much better too.
But she was still quite sick. One time I really needed to hold her so she wouldn't fall during the cruise
Then a week later she died. I feel bad. Our last day during the cruise wasn't that great and I was annoyed at her. She's just the kind of person that if you stay with them too long they really get on your nerves. In that week I wasn't texting her too much. Empty replies with a few longer ones here and there. The night she died I replied back telling her "sweet dreams" just a minute or 2 after she sent it to me. Did she see?
Her body was left there for a week and a half. I wasn't the one finding her but when I went in the apartment to get my cats and other things, the floor was all black and the maggots were still alive.
It's funny. She was always into morbid things. Saying that when she dies her cats are gonna eat her face, which probably happened.

These songs are so inside of my head right now. i mean i didn't listened to these songs more than 5 times and never really finished the album but somehow i know %80 of the lyrics for the last 3 years. They just dont get out of my head. i listened to some songs more than 50 times but can't think of their lyrics as good as these. This is why Jack stauber and his music is a big part of me. i guess i know these songs because 4 years before when this album came out i was happy and so many things changed in the last 4 years. When i think about my happy times, these songs come to my mind and i kinda repeat them every time when i think about the past. Really nostalgic songs for me

I don't know a whole lot about music, I make very little and I'm still a beginner, but it's crazy creative what Jack's doing here. Lots of dissonance unresolved by consonance while still maintaining a relatable rhythm and harmony... it's incredibly difficult. Buttercup, Dog Nightmare, I Love You Verne Troyer, I Understand, have such an interesting flare to them I cant describe. The album reaches so far in both chill songs and the more pressing beats. Also Jack is an immensely talented singer. If I had to put a term to it it's like his voice has an oscillator or tremolo in certain times and its just fantastic, never really heard it before. So much auteur talent and love was clearly put into this. It's not perfect, but it's still pretty awesome. Thank you for gracing us with this album Jack!

I used live there, and there hasn't been tornadoes there until recently. I moved from there to Nevada in October in 2018. But yeah, it shouldn't be scary if it doesn't hit you haha.

This might sound like I’m high but oh well. I closed my eyes and lied in bed listening to this. Pop food brought me to a bouncy place with colors. Around koi boy is where things took a turn where I watched rain hit a window while drinking a nice warm drink. When he whispers “you’re probably asleep” I got goose bumps and rode the wave back to shore. 70% sure I’m sober. But 10/10 album. Almost like Pink Floyd where it brings me to places only imaginable.
