I really love Pad Thai, because the part where it sounds like it's breaking *the chorus* it sounds like someone's mad and it helps me calm down sometimes cause then I can SCREAM the lyrics to the chorus.
"It's Alright" is definitely the most emotional song on this album. Whenever I listen to it, I imagine someone singing it to themselves as the world ends. And the high pitched noise that occurs in the chorus represents all the destruction around them. Holy shit, why is this album so good!?
I pictured buildings falling down and colliding together above the people running around clamouring as jack stands and observes it all before returning to his other to be together before it all ends thats when you hear the girl crying towards the end of the song saying jack I picture them finally finding eachother as the song comes to a close so does the world that jacks established
If someone asked me to describe this album I couldn't do it. Nobody can describe the emotion of screaming pain and fear in a song. This album is to incredible for anyone to comprehend.
"Don't blink your ears, iM jUSt SO gLAD that yOUR HeRE" these are my favorite lyrics from the whole album, feels great when anyone is willing to listen to you the joy is indescribable
Its nice to be around when these things exist You really don't understand how easily we could've missed these Our parents meeting Jack even existing The world existing in the first place its really all insane how we are here listening to this right NOW
@Jack Castellitto If your in Pennsylvania, then I'm guessing you live in the Harrisburg area. Am I close? I myself live in the Philadelphia area. I'd LOVE to go see him play one day when venues start opening up again. I'm pretty sure he doesn't tour since he's going to school full time in Pittsburgh (at least I think so) so I'd have to catch him at a local show. Only problem besides covid is that I can't find any information on where or when he plays shows? Any thoughts?
I always have trouble sticking to one genre of music at a time, so I can't help but fall in love with Leopard's constant switching of styles and what it represents. Even so, it's hard not to enjoy Databend's catchy tune, or Beird's rapid fire beat, or Gettin' My Mom On's simple and fun tone, or It's Alright's relaxing albeit almost ominous feel. Honestly might just beat out Pop Food as my favorite album of his.
This beats pop food for me by a long shot. I liked most of the songs but songs like Koi Boy and Lynn were easy skips. But everything here is so catchy and good that I literally can’t choose a favorite.
I think pop food had higher highs since safe socks, I understand, dog nightmares, and oh klaholma are all absolute bangers but hilo is just all around fantastic
I've scoured these comments for 20 minutes and have seen only one comment praising pizza boy and it was by the person the song was about Pizza boy is absolutely AMAZING and deserves so much more recognition

zyukii yess, the overall tone is great. The lyrics, the instruments in the background, the synced singing. It gives me a sad but happy feeling whenever I hear it, especially towards the very end of the song “yellow sunshine rays are out, stay at home and laze about...”
O.U.R is an underrated classic. Absolutely love it especially the chorus. It never fails to calm me down during a panic attack or a gay panic (don’t ask, it’s tough being Agender and having a crush that rejected you twice). It’s fun to visualize too!
Dead Weight always gives me this floating sensation, as if the planet has just stopped in place, with everything left to drift aimlessly, to itself and by itself.
I always had a very clear idea in my mind as to what ‘it’s alright’ was about, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the diversity of interpretations and meanings people associate with the song. To me, there’s a clear dialogue between someone comforting another person who breaks down and is overcome by a cathartic release of pent-up emotion, with the comforter saying ‘it’s alright, I am here, everything’s alright’ and being responded to be wails of overwhelming emotion
God this album is incredible. Every time I listen it never fails to make me feel so many different emotions all at the same time. My all time favorite song has to be Dead Weight though- that song is so good for venting frustration or any other negative emotion. I’ve started singing that in my head whenever I’m feeling rough and a lot of the time it helps me calm down. Thank you Jack Stauber!!!!
i don’t see enough people talking about getting my mom on so i will it’s so fun and funky and i definitely get liking the more emotional songs more but getting my mom on is such a vibe honestly
ive been a fan of jack stauber since like early 2020 and by far he is one of the best artists ive ever heard really refreshing on the music scene cause now its all the same but not jack he is a glass of water in a dry desert of music jack is an insperation to us all jack you are amazing
these songs have somehow become a part of me cause of how many times i listened to them and ill never forget them i like coming back to this album once in a while
Here are the meanings: Cunk is about someone wanting to commit s*cide. (Dang, already off to a hard start) Dead Weight is about someone wanting to be social and meet people but doesn't know how to. Coconut Ranger is about someone being happy about them being with their girl at tue moment. Leopard is about how no one can change their personality. John And Nancy is about someone who had a bad dream about their partner dying. Beird is about someone trying to change themselves to fit society's standards. It's Alright is about someone saying that they're okay even though they're not. Small World is simple. It's about love. Pad Thai is about being afraid of hurting someone you love. Gettin' My Mom On is, duh, a stereotypical interpretation of mothers. But it was made because apparently someone told Jack to stop being depressed and to get a "real job". (Yeah, I know. What a butthole) Databend is about a manipulative relationship with the singer as the manipulater. O.U.R. is about Earth and it's problems and that we don't have the solutions to those problems. Pizza Boy is about being the fear of growing up and going away from childhood. Moonstone is about not being noticed and not wanting to talk about your secret feelings.

Tbh Pad Thai is an underrated song
Pad Thai is also one of my favorite songs. Some of the lyrics are so loud, to the point of it being awesome.
"It's Alright" is definitely the most emotional song on this album. Whenever I listen to it, I imagine someone singing it to themselves as the world ends. And the high pitched noise that occurs in the chorus represents all the destruction around them. Holy shit, why is this album so good!?

@Jack Castellitto Lucky bastard
fun fact i live in eastern ohio so it would probably take like an hour to get there
@Jack Castellitto If your in Pennsylvania, then I'm guessing you live in the Harrisburg area. Any thoughts?

in love with this album
I always have trouble sticking to one genre of music at a time, so I can't help but fall in love with Leopard's constant switching of styles and what it represents. Even so, it's hard not to enjoy Databend's catchy tune, or Beird's rapid fire beat, or Gettin' My Mom On's simple and fun tone, or It's Alright's relaxing albeit almost ominous feel. Honestly might just beat out Pop Food as my favorite album of his.
this is my favorite pop album
This beats pop food for me by a long shot. I liked most of the songs but songs like Koi Boy and Lynn were easy skips. But everything here is so catchy and good that I literally can’t choose a favorite.
I think pop food had higher highs since safe socks, I understand, dog nightmares, and oh klaholma are all absolute bangers but hilo is just all around fantastic
I agree :>
"I'm just so glad that you're real" perfectly describes how I feel about my friends
I've scoured these comments for 20 minutes and have seen only one comment praising pizza boy and it was by the person the song was about
Pizza boy is absolutely AMAZING and deserves so much more recognition
Pizza boy is a masterpiece, along with probably the majority of songs he's made

Dead weight feels like driving through la with all the colours shifting around with thick, black, uneven lines outlining everything.
The music video is bussin
Coconut Ranger and It's Alright both make me feel like a human being, but on total opposites of the spectrum of being a human.
Ironically "It's Alright" gives me major anxiety (especially the loud screeching sound parts), STILL GREAT THOUGH I live in constant anxiety anyway
You seem to be in the majority with that opinion, personally I find the song comforting.

Cunk: * We can make it fun
Out the blood
Lock the door
You can drop “I’m fine”
Into the mind, but
Look before
I’m only here because of reason
I close my eyes there goes a season
I will bury all my best friends
As I carry all the questions
End
In the middle of my heart and my life
Cause we’re
Already out this far
Holy one
Although the monster’s in his cave
If we keep quiet we’ll be safe
Take your lovey rope and wrap around my brain
Until the muscles ache and strain
I’ll be happy on the day I squish the bug
That sucks my blood and has me drugged
Swallow all of my teeth and shut the blinds
I can do another 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 more times
Look at my tongue
Look how I’m young
Check out the spread
Look at my face
I can replace
Every space
Don’t think I won’t
Looking for heart
Not looking hard
Walking on air
Start up the car
Know where you are
Walking on air
Contest my
My inside
Make me find
Harder time

Leopard: **** [Verse 1]
God sent you wrapped in satin
Hey stop pretending I’m the captain
But yesterday we look down and say:
Every time we change it’s great
It’s nothing
Nothing happens
Little angel
You’re no harm
I’ve got my smile and my sweetheart in my arms
You got me dancing to the music
I can’t believe it
You’ve got me losin’ all my sense, there’s nothing to it!
Now how can I blame that on fate?
When you’re right you’re right baby
Every time we change it’s too late!
[Verse 2]
I admit it
You look mighty fine
Hop into my suit
I’ll take you for a ride
Lickety split
I am gone again
Swallow your spit
Sick consequence
I lost your signal
Get back in my range
Lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-location
Every time we change it’s strange
[Verse 3]
And the minds under the floor
Don’t see the life as a chore
Though the bad is gone and they’re no longer sore
They can’t feel the light anymore
Keep the promise sealed in pain
Every time we change
It rains
[Refrain]
Open up open up I’m alive
Cut that psyche I’m inside
Loser I know you will stay the same
Every time we change, it’s a game
[Verse 4]
Oh yeah!
Natural as the moon!
Feel it out!
Coming soon!
Brain to remain
You’re a fool!
Every time we change
It’s cool!
I am doing fine
How can I remember everything all the time
Heavenly poised, the shoes and my shirt are lined up for the winter now
I will rearrange the frantic
Every time we change there’s panic
Then you’ll say to you:
SO LONG!
Every time we change
YOU’RE GONE!
You can smile and say you had
Every time we change: be glad

I always had a very clear idea in my mind as to what ‘it’s alright’ was about, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the diversity of interpretations and meanings people associate with the song. @@peachy-wd6ci MEANT TO TIE A NOOSE
Here are the meanings:
Cunk is about someone wanting to commit s*cide. (Dang, already off to a hard start)
Dead Weight is about someone wanting to be social and meet people but doesn't know how to.
What a butthole)
Databend is about a manipulative relationship with the singer as the manipulater.
O.U.R. is about Earth and it's problems and that we don't have the solutions to those problems.
Pizza Boy is about being the fear of growing up and going away from childhood.
Moonstone is about not being noticed and not wanting to talk about your secret feelings.
That streaming sound effect in "It's Alright". It literally feels like a meteor shower happening in my head. I love this man's music.

YES SO TRUEEEEEEE
thanks for putting it on YT, and really liking what you did with the previews!
"Dad wait" is exactly what I said to my dad 11 years ago when he "went to get smokes".
Thank you for the laugh
God jack's voice is so good for sad songs it can sounds so tragic
He can also be super exciting and everywhere
Woah thats amazing the way you used the previews to make it more visual
It's Alright hits different...
All songs are fantastic, but, at the moment, my favorite is "Dead Weight". Love "John and Nancy" too, creepy lyrics 👍🏻
I understand leopard now, every-time we change its strange, he gives us the actual feeling when he changes the complete style and tone

Cunk is such an underrated song IMO. Absolute banger, whilst still having a deeper meaning much like other Jack Stauber songs!
