The bitsy jig works good for me. The real small 1/8 is pretty good for pond and bank fishing where u have no idea what on but still want a jig fish. If you get tired of 3/4 jigs and cant get a bite on 1/4 go to a bitsy itll do the trick.
I’ve gotta try those . Love these videos . No fancy boat or crazy gear. -like most of us! Lol . Just getting out on banks with good stories and awesome advice . Keep them coming!!
Just had to go back and watch this one again. I know you're a fan of Zman stuff as I am. I didn't notice that you changed the trailer to a Grande Bass bait. I use this same Zman jig in pondscum color and I use the tail section of a Zoom Skakeyhead worm in green pumpkin with the last 1/8th inch dipped in orange dye. I barely lift it up and then drop it on a slack line. It is crazy how you can do that & they almost swallow it whole. I do spray " Bang" scent attractant in crawfish scent on it and it does the job nicely. I just had to watch this one over again
I've been in a slump with bass for a while. I got my Z-man micro finesse jig today. I had an hour and a half to fishing today (cuz I'm married with kids). I slammed at least 8 largemouth with this thing. Pond scum with the samatis dropshot finesse worm GP blue
These are GREAT jigs. The size catches all sizes of fish and the color options are nice. The only downside is that the hooks bend out and finding trailers that fit them can be a challenge. Other than that, I've had a blast fishing with them for the past few weeks
Yea, great little finesse jig. Best suited on a spinning setup so you can play the fish and not bend the hooks. I really just think of it as a bulkier version of a ned rig. Thanks for watching man!
You know how I am when it comes to finesse fishing. I am known to change it up too. I'll try other baits like Zoom original fluke for a trailer on the 1/4oz mini Chatterbait. Usually Baby bass color but I do believe in changing the presentation when it's time to change my offering. Add rattles to help find baits in cloudy water
@@redbaron1875 I have a knife sharpener with a groove for hooks so I have been making sure all my hooks are sticky sharp. Never thought about trimming the skirts I will have to try that 👊👍.
It actually has been a lot of fun. The drop shot is something I have VERY little experience with. I like the challenge of working something I'm not good at. Thanks for watching man 👊
Good change on the darker profile with that trailer and the change in presentation. I throw the Finesse ShroomZ a lot but have not tried the Z-Man skirted jig version yet.
Hey Debro, You caught some pretty decent feesh with that finesse jig brother! Just picked up some of those Zman finesse jigs to go with the trd crawz at Cabella's this evening. Can't wait to get out there and give them a try myself! Another awesome video. Thanks!
That finesse jig was the ticket! Judging by the red in their mouths, it's said that's from eating crawfish, so that jig and trailer was the perfect choice, looks like I'll have to add some to my lure collection, especially since I want to up my jig game.
Yea, these are great little finesse jigs to start with. I've heard time of year, water temp, eating craws, etc. I'm not sure why they get all red like that? Thanks for watching my friend 👊
Dude I *LOVE* those Z-Man TRD craws. I've been having a lot of luck with them this spring on a ned head. I haven't tried using them as a small finesse jig trailer, but now I know what I'm doing this evening.
During work today I was thinking to myself, well I’ve been catching fish on other things this spring but one of my goals is a jig bite and planned on trying that this evening. Then whaddya know? Debo has me covered on the video lol. Always. I’m going to try some of these z man ones that I have as well and some chomper finesse ones as well! Thanks for the video!
Nice Bass using light line and small jig. I use exposed hook ball head jigs with small plastic craws. Tied to ten-pound braid with no leader. Rig it weed less if in thick cover. Little lures catch big fish. You sure proved that.
Zman for finesse. You should try a Zero Z Too strike king molting craw color. It is elaztech. Take about an inch off and it will rock. Caught six last Saturday on it in Indiana.
all I throw is jigs. swim jigs, casting jigs, all of it. You have to be insanely patient and slow. You won't catch a lot of fish, a lot of days you will go home without a bite or nibble. But let me tell you when you do catch one, it's massive.

Hahah I hear ya man. I'm that way with the drop shot. All about what you have confidence with. I feel like I'm on my first date whenever i pick up the drop shot 😧😳
good stuff on the finesse rig Debo! I have occasionally thrown a Booyah Baby Boo jig, but I'm typically more of a Zoom Ultravibe Speed Craw Tx rigged on a lighter bullet weight and a 3/0 VMC lighter wire flippin hook for my finesse rig. in my waters in W.PA they seem to like an un-skirted jig more, and it tends to get a lot thicker with the submergent grass, that the Tx rig comes through cleaner. There's DEFINITELY times the finesse rig gets it done!
i love throwing jigs, sometimes its hard to get bit on a jig but you usually get a bigger fish on a jig. i need to re-stock my finesse jigs went through them faster than i realized. im thinking about trying the new Gene Larew Ned Rig Pighead, have a lake with lots of rock and i think it would be better than the shroom head.
Another great video Debo. I have never thrown a finesse jig but I wish I would have had one today. Couldnt really get the result i wanted at my usual dink pond throwing my wacky rig z-drop worm. Ned rig bite was descent but I bet the jig would rip lips all day there.

Had some luck with Missile baits Ike Micro jig with a small boot tail for a gill profile 🤙🏼 how do you like the yellow braid? I thought it might be nice with a leader for weightless plastics setup/line watching but wasn’t sure if it spooked many fish. Love the vid!
I've heard good things about those jigs. I'm kind of torn on the Siglon braid. VERY small diameter but not extremely strong. Casts lures very well though.
Awesome video brother! Going to grab me some of those finesse jigs! Hey what is that reel your using. Have no idea how I got a car for my profile pick lol gotta change it
Oh yes I know what ya mean with the boss lady. But as it was said, happy wife happy life lol. Nice video as always Debo, had some nice fish. Have a good rest of the week 👊🏻

My question is well so I have a baitcaster with braid and when I cast for some reason it doesn't happen all the time but it will backlash and as the line is coming off the spool it will just stop and tangle the line on the reel any advice? Thanks again
Thanks for watching! It sounds to me like you need to slightly tighten the spool tension or brakes. Also if you're casting with a lot of force, that initial burst can cause it. Try lobbing casts instead of really trying to power cast as hard as you can.
Thanks for the video Debo! Just recently started jig fishing and really enjoy it. Dirty jigs archy style / casting. 1/4 or 3/8 with paca chunk, rage craw, yum craw papi or zoom speed craw. What length and power rod is the fate? Thanks again!
Hey Debo do u have problems with your feeshn ponds like the moss that is subsurface , really slimy stuff , a conservation agent told me it’s from chemicals put on yards and gets in the ponds from the rains but he said it can be gotten rid of by using a certain chemical. The reason I ask is because I fish watershed ponds like the one your fishing and they allllllways get that slim in them but they hold allot good feeshin opportunities
Debo and friends, need some advise. Just got my first finesse budget setup. And I'm breaking hooks off at the knot left and right. I'm not too experienced with open faces but the only things I can assume is my drag is either too high, or I'm setting hook incorrectly or too hard. using 10 lb braid to 6 lb floro leader as well. Used multiple knots such as palomer, uni, fishermans, etc. And I break hooks off more than I catch them. Advise on hook sets, or drag setting? Help please. Lol
I could do a vid like that. Smaller line is definitely a different animal. Are you breaking at the braid to leader knot or the leader right at the hook? What knot are you using to tie the hook on?
@@DEBOSFishing leader to hook. I've tied palomer, uni, fishermans to the hook with saliva and all that jazz. I use an fg knot for main to leader. Never fails me.

Hi..Did you give up on Kastking rods and reels? I've noticed a lot of your vids fishing with Lews, Diawas, Lews reel boxes behind you in some vids....did you finally smarten up?....lol
What's wrong with the kastking rods? Just curious, I was recently looking into grabbing one. I also noticed Debo has a few of those 13 Rods. Maybe I gotta get one of those.
It’s Zman so I bet that jig costs what 3 of the Bitsy Jigs cost. I get my Bitsy Jigs at Wally World for $1.50 each. I see Tackledirect has these Zman jigs for $4.99. LOL!!!
The bitsy jig works too. I just don't like the hooks on them. I tried them a wheat back and had bad luck. I just wait until the Z-man jigs go on sale. It's all about preference though. Thanks for watching!
Do you throw finesse jigs? Let me know what your FAVORITE jig to throw is! Thaks for watching feeshin friends 👊
My favorite finesse is Stanley's Finesse Jig paired with a 3in Rage Craw!
My favorite jig to throw is the football head jig! But i slowly need to start throwing different style jig heads. Loving the content Debo!!!
I throw a Hackatack heavy cover swim jigs from Strike King in half oz with a Strike King rage craw trailer
I caught my biggest fish ever on a finesse jig. 15 pound catfish on its bed

That's one of my favorite techniques! The good ole no cell signal bodies of water. Although I usually get GRILLED when I get home 🤣
I just do the old my cell phone was on silent trick, works wonders.
Try the I had my phone in the car because it was charging line. 22 percent of the time it works every time.

Hahaha not at all man, they make good products! If you're having success and like them, keep fishing them!
Catching a Hawg on the finesse jig......

@@BluntSagginz maybe you should go to a store and hold a few rods and see how they feel in hand . That's the best way to do it if at all possible.
Just trying all sorts of stuff now. I got a lot of stuff from a buddy. Basically brand new gear he sold me DIRT cheap. Thanks for watching man 👊
@@BluntSagginz I'll be doing a review on the 13 fishing fate black 2 (green rod) soon. Thanks for watching!
@@DEBOSFishing 14 fishing 🤣🤣🤣
Shoot am I doing to much with 15lbs braid to a 10 leader
How can I come fishing with you and randizzle?
Hahah well if you see us out, say hey!
What's your favorite time of day to fish this time of year?
Early summer frogging hands down!
2lber?
I'm not sure how to solve this riddle?
What reel was in the green 13 fishing rod
That's an old Shimano Symetre reel.
ADD A SKIRT TO A WEGHTED TEXAS RIG AND YOU HAVE A FINESSE JIG..
That’s not a real question, there is one jig... IMO. War eagle
Hahah you definitely know how to work that jig!
If I had a dollar for every time I said one more cast,I'd be a billionaire.
Catches his biggest fish of the year, immediately changes bait. haha what?
Haha well there was a 45 minute lull of no fish. I thought I put that caption but forgot it. Both trailers are killer though!
Wet your hands on catch and release fish
Thanks for watching man!
