He clearly understands she needs help because of how big he is. So he gets his chest as low to the ground as possible and even allows her to use his foot as a step to get down on. 🥺
I agree but I do kinda miss a quick shot of some civilians in Kings Landing watching them fly over or something. Pretty much the majority of Kings Landing has now just SEEN 2 huge mythical creatures fly over the city for the first time. It should have an impact, especially on the common folk. I thought that was one of the main reasons why Daenarys didn't just attack KL? Win the hearts of the common people? Something? But naaah.. irrelevant. dtrix10kc Um, no, it's a repetitive scene that they keep doing in slightly dissimilar circumstances to make her look impressive when really, she has no wits or strength.
Yep. My prediction for the final season is him ferrying over the Golden Company, who, I'm guessing based on their founding history, will be loyal to Dany, then Euron (since he has plans to get with her in the books already) betrays Cersei. Cersei will, quite literally, pay for her own demise and the end of her house.
Unpopular opinion: Dany should have gone just with Drogon, taking Raeghal along made it very clear to Cersei that something happened with the third dragon, and then there she discovered that they weren't invincible
Rhaegal was there for back up tbh what if things went south like drogon was landing to put dany down and they start shouting scorpions at him … one would get dany to safety while the other burned them to ashes
You are right. Daenerys would do one of two things; either come with just the dragon she is riding on, or she would come with all of them. There was no logic whatsoever to coming with two dragons...unless that was all the dragons she had, which made it clear regardless of what happened that her dragons were vulnerable and killable, it made her look weak. Daenerys should have rode on Drogon (the biggest and most intimidating looking dragon) and left Raeghal at Dragonstone.
@@MannequinStep I believe someone somewhere said Rhaegal refused to be left alone, since he was normally alone with Viserion while Dany was off with Drogon and now he would just be ALONE alone, which has never happened to him in his life. Such a great powerplay against Cersei though. Makes her wait, shows up on a fucking dragon, and everyone but Cersei stands up when she arrives and no one sits back down again until she’s seated. A+ lol
It actually wasn’t a great power-play at all. Cersei immediately discerned that something happened to Viserion and that realization drove her to pursue the weapons that ultimately killed Rhaegal.
Cersie is dying of jealousy over Dany's beauty and shows of power and hatred for what she is! She surely remembers the prophecy , young and beautiful queen will come to replace u and take all those dear to you! Tyrion first , then Jaime !But her brain is surely working here!
高男春日 I stick to my interpretation ! It's all over Cersie face, defiance, hatred, and jealousy of her beauty ! Daenarys is a threat to the Throne and she's young and quite beautiful! That she' is known!
I thought that prophecy related to margery as they showed the flashback with the witch at the beginning of season 5 just before margery married tommen. Anyway I love Danys entrance and Drogon is the coolest.
djchrisp True but I think like I said this really does show his size especially because of the dragon pit and Drogon was at the edge of the pit as well, plus we also got to see how long his wingspan is specifically, granted he was also lunging forward but still.
I was curious about his actual size myself.. I paused the scene at 1:18, full screen, screenshot, print to PDF, then punched that pdf into our measuring software here at work. Using Emilia/Daenerys height of 5'-2", Drogon with his wings almost fully open is 272' wide. His neck/head from his torso is 26'-3". Overall height (excluding tail) is 77'-9". Again, keep in mind these are all rough dimensions due to the screenshot getting blurry from zooming in so far, Drogon not fully extending all of his limbs, and simply the fact that I do not have 100% clear cut offs for measurement references. To put that in perspective, a Boeing 747 wing span is ~196' - 240' and ~240' long depending on the model (or atleast Google says so). That, my friends, is a big dragon.
Watching HOTD now makes us realize how badass Dany is riding a dragon unsaddled. And how much effort Drogon took to protect his mother whenever he's flying and also when she dismounts coz there are no rope ladders like in HOTD. 😯
It makes her special too considering she controlled THREE dragons. Truly the mother of dragons and most iconic Targaryen along aegon I (who had help with his sisters)

@@mae_0013 HotD doesn’t focus on Valyria- it’s about the Dance of the Dragons (Targaryen war of succession) on Westeros and what led up to it. It take place only 200 years before Daenerys was born.
Machute8484 totally agree. No more dragon deaths. Would totally ruin the show. What's a Targaryen without a dragon? Jon should find his own dragons lol.
Some people are predicting that the dragons will die, and it's devastating, but I think they have a point. The only way I think dragons can coexist with people is if people have some kind of magic like the Valyrians had to control them. We saw after the conquest that dragons couldn't coexist, and they all died. It won't happen now, but I was hoping for an ending that had everyone dead and the 3 dragons just standing on a pile of ash and bones. It's either people or dragons, and I'm rooting for the dragons!
The part where Cersei looks to the floor almost in defeat and sadness is interesting. I think she knew in this moment that she could never hope to defeat the Targaryens once dragons were back in the picture. Her pride was the only thing stopping her from surrendering.
Cersei is triggered af. She’s envious because it was her childhood fantasy to ride a dragon with Danny’s eldest brother Rhaegar. He was the one Cersei thought she really loved as she was more than happy ti drop Jaime for Rhaegar. Now she sees a new queen, more beautiful than she and resembles her beloved Rhaegar. Also fulfilling Maggie’s prophecy that a new queen would dethrone her.

It might be an emotional thing. Rhaegal may not want to be left alone either... Not a great argument I know. I also think it would have been better if she just showed up with Drogon.
I think she did know Cersei has (like herself, most of the time) an efficient network of spies, it probably wouldn't be long before Cersei knew about Viserion.

Gotta hand it to Cersei. Even Jaime (having seen the dragons in battle) anxiously watches their entrance and the rest are just as awed. But Cersei is like, "eh whatever". Poor Tyrion was trying to gauge her reaction to see if she's intimidated but Queen C doesn't even flinch at Drogon's roaring. But then again, there's a fine line between bravery and stupidity.

Not a great argument I know. I also think it would have been better if she just showed up with Drogon.
I think she did know Cersei has (like herself, most of the time) an efficient network of spies, it probably wouldn't be long before Cersei knew about Viserion.
Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen
First of her Name
Queen of the Andals and the First Men
Breaker of Chains
Queen of Mereen
Kahleesi of the Great Grass Sea
Mother of Dragons
Queen of bad-ass entrances!
Yunachan2712 you forgot : fucker of nephew :')
i love how Drogon scream on everyone everytime
The music together with the dragons roaring is the best sound I heard in a long time.
0:57 the only time Cersei fails to hide that she is intimidated by Daenerys
Am I the only one who gets shivers just by listening to those dragons? They have beautiful voices, sound almost like songbirds on steroids. I always tear up at 0:19 - 0:25
Every Lannister guard pissed their pants when Drogon landed...
THE FOOT STOOL😭😭😭 HE'S SO CARING FOR DANY😭🥺
Its like westeros seeing Aegon & his dragons for the first time.... i loved this entrance so much. the looks on their faces.
0:20 this music played on the opening flying scene in House of the Dragon and when Rhaenyra flew over the Red Keep ❤
Am I the only one amazed at how fucking big Drogon is
Thats how you introduce a Targaryen. Well done, Drogon!
Oh that Dani! She knows how to make an entrance! She arrived like a BOSS!!! 🔥
Drogon yelling at everybody as he lands like I'm warning y'all one fucking time, don't try anything, I'm looking at you gold-hand man.
Came in like a BOSS!
Now THIS is how you make and entrance AND exit. The way Drogon flew off after dropping Dany off was just epic
*Dany walks off dragon.
"What's that smell?"
*Tyrion-"The bricks that every lannister soldier just shat"
I'd like to order a dragon please. I have an important meeting on Monday and I need to arrive in style! Like REALLY make an entrance!!
Lena Headey is so great actress, wow, I am so impressed with all her performances, she acts real and tell the story with her body language without even talking,
I love how Drogon proclaims his dominance @0:44 and proceeds to look left and right to make sure no one is near Daenerys as he drops her off
"All right Drogon, when we arrive I want you to make as much noise as possible to intimidate Cersei"
Drogon was like "If someone touches my mama, I will burn it all"
She always travels in style! 😎
She thought she would intimidate everyone with her army and Gregor. Sandor and Drogon shut that shit down quick.
That's the definition of being fashionably late! 😂
0:09 the fear in Jamie lmao
I love the brownout induced by his wings when he lands and takes off. Those extra touches that make it feel real.
It makes me sad, and proud cuz. They lost a brother and she lost a child, but they are still proud
Now that is an entrance... showing all the mighty power she has control over.
Had Danny only brought Drogon, they would not have figured out that the Dragons could be killed. Everyone knew she had 3 dragons. They could have just assumed that Drogon is the dragon she rides.
Jon and Ser Davos’ reactions are what get me every time, you’d think they wouldn’t act so surprised after seeing Dany’s dragons so many times by now
Drogon: "Alright, everybody shut up! My mom is talking!"
all Daenerys had to do to finish off that grand entrance was to dismount with a backflip.
Qyburn actually looks he like he enjoys seeing those dragons
“The Dothraki are not known for their punctuality.”
That's being fashionably late!😜
Drogon: don’t any of you try any shit on my mama. I will be watching you all from up there.
0:08 Even the Mountain himself shacked from the roar of dragons
