I should not have said 'possibly' as my Dad was with General Maczek going over to Normandy likely in late July 1944 and over to Belgium and Holland and then onto Germany finally stopping in Wilhelmshafen where the 1st Polish Armoured Division was given the honour of seeing that Jerry behaved himself. Yes, and as a kid I remember Dad mentioning Cromwell tanks and on the technical side I find the cut-out around the gun mantlet quite intriguing. Take care!

Looking at the insignia, would say this is Polish, possibly 1st Polish Armoured Division?
Exactly right - check out my description. This was in fact a training tank, but now painted in the markings of the 1st Polish Armoured Division 👍
