I have used the 8000 boiler for 3 months now. My installer didn’t have a clue about the optional diverter valve now and due to this the boiler doesn’t not work correctly. I am now paying for the boiler to be taken off the wall and fit the new optional diverter valve. This is all because your manuals are not clear and do not talk about it in detail.

Why do they have to make the condensates so awkward to get out, he struggled, and there was no water in there. Nice when you have to tilt them to get them out and they spill their guts all over the place

These guys need to stop and get some new young engineers in! If Apple made a boiler it would be the end of this company.

What about making the front case an led screen that gives you 1000s of options to match in with every style of kitchen or painted wall

Why would you have a 50kw combi ?
You cant beat a heat only with a unvented cylinder .

      Worcester over complicate
      everything .
How would a pensioner understand the boiler controls?
The ia series boilers are time consuming to do a proper service ,special tools are required that's why they get neglectred.
The compact is also awkward .
I like Worcesters but there are other boilers which are a dream to service ,alike Baxis .

Just had the boiler fitted and not enjoying my experience so far. As it’s a new boiler the fitter wasn’t sure how to set timer. The booklet was of no use and this video was worse. Why not stick to the point. I am still in the dark as to how to put my heating on timed after two days. Ill service.

Hi Aiysha, Sorry to hear that, our boilers can be fitted with various different timers so the boiler manual would not have the timer information in it. You should have a separate manual for your timer. I would recommend contacting our technical team as they may be able to help 😊👍 you can do this by calling 0330 123 3366 or by emailing technical-advice@uk.bosch.com hope that helps. - Aiden

Can I connect up my smart heating system to boiler via stat connection

from a boiler engineer point of view. over priced over complicated

  • @timwattison4419

It's a nice boiler but a little hard to understand how to set it. I'm using a Wireless Hive Digital Thermostat in my hallway and it sends signals to the receiver which is located in the boiler cupboard. However, I don't understand that the temp setting don't marry up with the stat figures, what would be the ideal setting for the hot water in degrees and what do I set the central heating on ? Do you think it would of been better to work with a standard thermostat via a direct wire to achieve the best heating setting ?

    • @felvino7
      @felvino7 4 года назад +1

if you want 20 deg in your hall way at you thermostat.. The water that is being heated up and pumped around your heating system would have to be considerably hotter to achieve that.. The number on your thermostat and the flow temperature inside the boiler are not meant to be the same..

Stick to Vaillant mate Worcester are just full of plastic and with the same crappy aluminium heat exchanger not to mention that they're overpriced.
