Actually I've heard multiple people theorise about Pugger having a share in bot farms by drawing attention to competion bot farms etc.
However, no way to actually know whether this is true.

@@Ice_barrage well depending were you life potential lawsuit for damages or jail time if you get caught running an illegall business. botting is very easy, finding buyers and managing sells is very, very time consuming and not stable at all. so depending were you life actuall work is better. casue if you hear "botters do xxk €/$ per month" is not 1 person getting that much is usualy a team of 10-20 ppl or even more. i did it once out of curiosity but stoped soon after just to know the process. i just bot "unlimited member" + extra untill they ban the botters cause its no use to even compete for in game gold unless you can spend 6-8 h a day just to make gold.

There's a massive bot or gold farm network that goes online in worlds 505-525 UK at MLM between the morning hours of like 5-10 UK. I've been on pretty early countless times on near empty worlds (maybe 3 other people + me) when out of nowhere 10 or so random low levels in full prospectors and a rune pick hop on and takeover the upper level all at once. Once I tried to outrun them, but every world lower on the list (505 > 506 > 507) would gradually fill up in the same manner and I was forced to use a US server to escape them. This was a month or two ago, but I witnessed it happen over like an equal amount of time so I'm sure it's still up and running.

I'll say it again. Pugger thank you for shining a spot light on these bots. I think people need to realize that Jagex isn't really trying to bust bots. There's way too much money involved. If your game was generating millions of dollars because of the currency in it. Why would you really wanna stop that operation?

Yo man! You really have to go to Zulrah, especially world 302.
There are sooo many bots there, it's unbelievable.
I would guess that around 80-90% of the players hopping to Zulrah is a bot, they are really easy to spot. They all are combat level 90-96, they all wear blue mystic (some black-red) and use a trident of the swamp. They all have 1's at the skills, but strangely enough, all their mining levels are level 15.
I have heard that it has been going on for months on end, and the kill count proofs it.
On average the bots have a kc of 7500. I have even seen some bots with 12k up to 15k kc. That is 1.5 billion profit for one account!
Please get this out in the world and to Jagex!

@@CynicNoob uhuh, you only have to write 4 separate scripts, but all the 4 rotations are always the same, nothing is random. And Zulrah's max hit is 'only' 41. So you can just say, if hp below 60, eat. it's very rare that you get like 3x 41's.
There’s so many fucking bots in the hosidius kitchen. I’ve reported more than 10 of them in the past week and they’re botting 24/7, some of them made it into the top 5k ranks in less than a week. Jagex is not banning them and I’m getting pissed seeing them every day. Level 3s with 13 farming and massive cooking xp

There's a problem in the Fally party room at the moment there are a lot of bots camping on w301, I'm not sure if they are on any member worlds.
The part where the guy talked about recovering his account reminded me of mine. I made my account back in 2015, and pretty much only did Tut island and a bit of mining. Then dropped it. Only last year did I feel like playing again, and recovered my account. I found that all of my skills were the same, except I had 61 thieving. My bank was empty aside from around 400k and a frog mask. I don't really hear about thieving bots anymore, so there's a throwback. When I logged back in, it had been 1,900 days since last login. haha

I found a bot farm in Forthos dungeon, on a lot of worlds there's a lot of level 9's who just use protect prayer and pick up full inventories of red spider eggs and bank it. I'm not sure if a lot of people know about it yet.

I made an Ironman a few months back and when training agility I noticed ppl who more than likely were bots training agility at canifis even when they hade 90+ agility. I was told by another player it’s because the bot banning rate was high at seers so they stay at canifis to try to avoid being caught while selling the marks off as amylase crystals

There's a bot farm in the West Ardougne general store. I've seen multiple accounts there all level 14 with similar stats when hopping through different worlds. No idea what they are doing there but they seem to log off once I log in. I've never seen them sell anything

If you were to make an text reader AI at the GE then it would only have the ability to flag an acc for moderator investigation because giving the AI the ability to actually ban would be risky given that the GE has a lot of social occurrences and a real player could easily be mistaken for a bot if they said just the right line of text.
@Molecules 1 Yeah, I can back this up. All this talk about bad support at Jagex is wrong; it's dependent on how much you spend. I had an issue with some bonds I bought. I said in my report if it wasn't rectified then I'd stop spending real money and use in game gold only. They emailed me back about 10 hours later saying it had been sorted. Was quite shocked actually.

I was doing Freminik Isles today (always struggle with that spelling), and I noticed there were bots in almost every world buying (I think) the raw sharks from the fish store on Jatizo. They were all around the same combat level and any time I’d get remotely close to them, they’d immediately log out. I saw a similar thing with the Ore trader there as well. I think it’s because they sell Adamant Ore, but I can’t be sure since they all kept logging out so quickly. Can anyone else corroborate this?
Hey SirPugger there's a bot farm spinning something at the lumbridge spinning wheel, idk what they're doing but there's a ton of them.
i forget if you covered zulrah bots, but theres still so many of them. they're always in full mystic and sit at the dock in groups sometimes. they always have 25 range with 80-99 magic and sometimes like 20m exp.they sometimes have zulrah kc up to even 10k. i think i saw vorkath bots doing the same thing at 330. they just sit in a random group for a certain amount of time. then they run in lol.
Lol what. Vorkath can't be mass botted dumbass. The amount of time needed to do all the requirements for dragon slayer 2 would take too long that by then the bot would already be banned. Also world 330 is the house party world and its where everyone who doesn't have a rejuvenation pool or portal nexus go to kill vork (me included).
A year ago someone on the subreddit had a great post where it was estimated 65-70% of the playerbase were illegitimate players like gold farmers rwters botters based on his findings. Prob even higher now. The game's fucked lmao

The upper level of MLM has bots with random combat stats usually around 30-50 combat, and every other stats sub 20 BUT THEN they have over 50+ mil mining xp even some upwards of 100m mining
Hey man, I've been doing pyramid plunder recently and between 10pm and 1am est theres at least 25 level 13 bots on every world. Maybe something worth looking into? Just a pain causing a drop in sceptres

Its comical at the amount of scam automated bots that are in rs. the other day i was sitting at ge wearing tbow, and at least 5 bots came and tried trading me luring me, so i told him to get fucked noob and he got offended, next day there was a bot spamming every world i went to saying i was a lurer glitching ppl out of their items because i pissed off that luring bot farm. They spam my name because im flagged by their automated scouts, so instead of trying to hop in the world to try and lure me, they hop in the world and spam my name
@pugger I was in draynor late time 4 am Est. Seen hella master farmer bots. All 99 farming 30m+ xp with capes on seen 2 big waves of them different worlds on accident. look into it
There are hundreds of bots, likely run by the same owner at master farmer in Draynor. 90% of them have the 99 thieving cape as well as the rocky pet. Interested in finding out how much they are making as well as getting them shut down.
My mindset has and will always be that Jagex knows they have a ton of bot farms and gold farmers. Look at how much money this is generating just from this video.
Of course they know. The real problem is the scale of the problem. How many jagex employees work in the anticheat department? Idk but let's be generous and say 10. 10 people working normal working hours is 80 hours a day of manpower. How many cheaters and botters are out there in the world writing scripts and programs to sell to botters? Thousands? Tens of thousands? How many hours a day are they putting into their craft? No matter how much Jagex does to stop botters they're working against thousands of people. Cut the team some slack.

Jagex doesn't care. Been botting for fun now for almost 8 months making around $300 USD a week as a side hustle. Ude be amazed at how large and how long my farms last before Jagex does a thing. They're barely a threat if you have a half a brain.
Im pretty sure that raw sharks are probably a high merched item with a high buy limit and a low price. They can then get retraded dozens of times meaning there are actually 1/2 less in game than the g.e. shows.

In tears of guthix a few days ago there were 4 lvl 96 hardcore iron men with identical stats.
They where 100% efficient in collecting tears and when called them out all 4 accounts replied without missing a tick " yes" identically. Impossible for it to be someone saying 4 accounts at the same time.
Ayy, So I had gotten my account back in feb when It had gotten perma banned but I seen it with 94 magic. I stopped playing again so it got perma banned in march but this time I had an authenticator and my password was the same. Can you give me any tips on how I would get my account back? I am pretty sure it had gotten banned due to botting so the thing said Macroing on both of them.

There are a bunch of cooking bots in hosidious aswell. All have 13 farming from favour to 100% and then they have 70m+ cooking exp
You should check out all the bots tanning dragonhide. The gp per hour has gotten so low because of them.
*the dragon warhammer decrease in price isnt directly related to bots. most pvm items were heavily inflated from when covid started. and now is stabiziling back to its original price for example i paid 43m for mine a year ago. and it was probably that around february 2020*

You should check out the Karamja Gem Mine. I did the 99 mining grind a while back and when I was doing it, red topaz were over 5k each. They're 2k now. Just a thought. Keep up the good work! I've been playing this game legit for years and love seeing it get cleaned up!
so many bots. i remember those mining bots in the dwarven mine. they stack on each other while mining that when you right click them they fill the screen
There's yet another absolutely massive bot farm at Zulrah again. Nov 5th everything from Zulrah started tanking in price, which lined up directly with the Rev cave nerf. Some of these bots are almost 20k kills and this spans throughout almost every single world with multiple accounts and what appears to be multiple different botting rings judging from their gear running on every world.
They interact with your random event and break temporarily right outside the Zulrah instance boat. They also appear to interact with the Priestess if she wanders next to the furthest tile West right next to the boat and get temporarily broken as well. They aren't stopped by Teleother even though many have accept aid on, or broken by placing hunter traps next to the boat. World 329 is especially bad, They're programmed to get their loot back and regear as well. I have seen multiple accounts with over 15,000 kc at Zulrah and are clearly botting.

These were just from hopping between 3 worlds: 329, 330, and 331 for about 10 minutes and seeing who ran by that was clearly botting based on stats and movement patterns.
Also for several hours as of this post there has been a bot 'Chaosmind972' broken, stuck trying to get it's gear back from the Priestess after dying. There's dozens more between these worlds all with similar or identical gear with low kc and bare minimum stats clearly running the same bot script. They're adding to their bot farm, most are running full mystic, with mage arena 1 capes, but there's 1 farm that is running full Ahrim's.
Found a few random lvl 9s at varrok church a couple days ago they all had lvl 50 pray and wore monk robes. Dunno what that was about. They stood there for well over 12 hours idk how they didn't get logged?

You should look into the potential key logger on the rune lite client. Maybe make some decoy accountsvsee if they get hijacked in a week of logging in.

I fished minnows for awhile for some decent xp and money while i grinded to 99. There were TONS of bots there a few months back.
@SirPugger, with your knowledge of OSRS and the anti-cheating systems, can you tell me if it ACTUALLY makes a difference when I right click > report bots out in the wild? I feel like Jagex doesn't really do anything when I report bots. I play on an iron man account and see them everywhere, especially resource spots like ores, fish, trees, etc. Some of them are blatant suicide bots, some of them are a bit more hidden but I report them and nothing happens. I'll come back HOURS later after long quests and stuff and the same accounts will be there.
I saw a shit ton of bots appearing in that house where Father Urhney is west of Lumbridge Swamp, all of them wearing a ghost speak amulet. Just thought it was weird why they would be doing that..

@@dutchmoto750 A lot of them are gold farmers but a lot are also bots, jagex banned over 50K bots over the weekend. I looked up most the accounts I saw there 24/7 and a lot have been banned - ones with 99 mining and 30m+ exp.
