why aren't students in the debate? we are the ones who know what is ACTUALLY happening and what needs to changed
Obsoletely right
Lets start a hastag
I liked it your view.. your right..
They were also a student ....
Once!!!
This wasn’t even a debate in the first place.
I believe the major drawback of the Indian education system is that it instills the aspiring youth to be a part of the rat race. I did my first post grad degree from an above average b school in India and I believe the whole curriculum was outdated and the proffesors were patronising and not willing to address key changes relevant to the current context. Then after being a part of the rat race, I decided that I had enough and went on to pursue a second post grad degree from a top 40 University {University of Queens land). The contrast in the level of education was evident. The curriculum was not only current but futuristic. The proffesors were more open to ideas, the idea of being in charge of one's own career development and finding ones own niche was instilled from the very first day. I believe this is the biggest gulf in the education systems between Indian and foreign institutions.
Most of colleges in India do not focous in skill dovelopment
They focus in theory parts only
@@mohammedalialmaqtari8116 But in interview they only want skilled person
What r joke we face these day
They all are focused solely on nonsensical things and not in developing and shaping one's appetite for learning and getting a true feel for whatever subject one studies...
This has to change! Students don't realise how wonderful and immensely beautiful the world of knowledge really is: they're never shown the tremendous beauty, the wonders that they themselves wanted to see as a child...
First, that curiosity is killed brutally, and then students are made to accept a pile of expectations that is enormous, yet what is done is also not anywhere close to what it should be for that either.
The focus has to shift from MARKS, COMPETITION, JOB and PROFIT-based learning to
REAL LEARNING....
Schools and colleges must be made interesting and not burdensome...............
I agree they r forcing students just to study what's there in textbooks
Exactly
From my perception, these kinds of debates should broadcast in all our national news channels.
Due to which, our generation as well as people in India can learn a lot.
I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to get back into an instagram account..?
I somehow forgot my account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me!
@Paul Cullen instablaster ;)
@Giovanni Jake I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Giovanni Jake It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much you really help me out :D
@Paul Cullen you are welcome :D
As per my experience, indian school , University focus on marks and unnecessary assignments. No concepts no practical knowledge...
Education in India is just a theoretical not practical , and the problem is with the our mindset ,our main drawback is that we judge someone on the basic of the marks not on their talent .
we are not focusing on talent development . what ever we are studying is just useless.
Your are absolutely right brother
Absolutely true

We are running behind others. Adopting foreign languages, cultures , habits and food. Ham apna b gwaa rhe hai aur dusre ka copy ho nhi paa raha.
I respectfully disagree with you sir because we are not running behind or forgetting our culture, although we are exploring new cultures and promoting our culture in other parts of the world
@@Jaiwant_Purewal i agree with you sir but we don't were our traditional clothes we don't talk in our mother tounge we don't like our music as comparision to western beats, have forgotten our real heroes yeh sab hmare hi desh mai ho rha hai toh bahr hum kya promotion kr rhe hai for saving our culture we lost everything in the name of modernization in the era of machines
U agree wd ur point of view v should make others to follow our culture not to to follow others
5 years ago video and still nothing new in India education system
our syllabus is not current
hmm.. you know better that we taught in school about history, political so many other subjects but i get to know in my office that there is no use of history and other subject only English is having a good role for our future

Abdul kalam sir graduated from india
That's not a big deal !!##

currently I have my Engineering degree but I think my 80% study which have I read is fully useless
yes you are right... all who completed their bachelors are of the same think as you. Govt. has to imply study method which is to be used for passing our job interview or exam
Not just passing the interviews as an entry card for chosen career. The education should be like in the way of implementing innovativeness towards the surge of economy .
😂😂 me too .. Now I'm like m n engineering kri hi q 😈
80% study is not useless.
You are not using it that's why it is useless to you.
Parshuram Bhakt
Yes we need to improve our education system
Yes... With practically
I fail to understand, what kind of education system is going on in India
As a regular viewer of your debates, i'd like for you to bring on board more confident and insightful speakers on the platform.
Karishma Rathod 100℅currect ,someone r inspiring, strengthful from these type of debates
You must be one of them
Didn't get you. Please rephrase it
Do more debates like this sir
corruption must be vanished from Indian mentality than it will help them !!
more quality teachers are needed...
Problem is that lack of job opportunity
It’s unfortunate that the video title has improper grammar. The a in abroad is already a preposition and using ‘in’ another preposition defies the whole purpose. It’s a shame that the language is neglected by a national media channel.
Man , I thought the exact same thing. It bothered me a lot. Thank you for commenting .
Great man
Glad someone else noticed it too...
i am too late to watch this video but in 2019 still education system is not improved .
True
now these types of debates is not going on so please It should be started again for us . Sir g
Why we are studying pcm in 12 standard instead of technical education
Most of theoretical lectures I received are useless as per my experience
According to me both countries education system is good because I can't say education system of abroad is better than Indian education system because mostly student's succeed in India that's depend on student study and he is also knowledgeable all types of fields that's why I am so proud on Indian students
They don't succeed bro we Indians get good package and work under Americans and we callis success
@@Abhyuday_rai success is broad term, for different people success means different. You need to be specific.
@@kdbasu hmmm yeah true

It is really good debate I like this debate very much
What is the need to compare education systems of various countries? The success of an individual has nothing to do with the system in which he/she gets educated. Successful individuals make successful nations.
In indian schools they teach that if you work hard you will succeed in life. We muggup the answers and excel in ur exams. But in real life you need creativity to succeed. Which we surely need.
That guy with opticle speaks of education without coming to know even on "ho to pronounce education "
Who told you that yourr way of pronouncing education is the only way of pronouncing
The intellectuals can debate on the news channel but they can not work to improve the education level.
You're 100% right
It's not our work but govt we are to question. I think.
One of the best discussions.
It doesnt matter where do you study from, its all about what do you study, its about your desire, hard work, interest, there are ample of good examples who are successful in their life in India, some has completed their graduation but still has no work to do, what are you waiting for? Just use your brain nd acheive your goal come what may, stop complaining about education system, you could be d one who can change it, dont give up, its time to stand up & speak up
Thank u
can u ellaborate more on ur comment
But in india a person no matter how intellectually brilliant is worthless nd useless without a degree
Not IIT no good jobs
I think government not provide us which knowledge who not important for me or society.
India education system should be practical .
government concerntrate knowledge with use of knowledge .
for example we read about chemical reactions but how many students understand practically
thank you
Yes.. Absolutely correct.. It will be practically not theoretically..
International syllabus are also there in india but very expensive.
Nice debate sir thanks
Very good ...we want this type of topic .
Background sound over
Now a day, Indian education system divided in lower class people, medium class system, Higher class people.
What about the cost of education in abroad vs india.and the reason people stay forever abroad to repay it
and why do ppl who study abroad never come back and use their so called abroad education to improve indian system or economy.
You nailed it....
Those people are traitor....
I have been to the some of the countries and have been in such discussion. Some of my observations.
1) The student are motivated to do self learning (they start giving assignments from childhood and they do their own research, prepare it and present)
2) They do experiments and understand the concept
3) Our Junior teachers are not been trained well
4) They are allowed to do what they want, not what parents wants
5) Infra for sure..
A college should pay some amount of money to the students if they are good in something ..it will have 2 benifits 1.more and more stugents ..espcially graduates will study in order to achive the money which might be usefull for them.2.it will make a platform of confidence for them to acquire a job...
I have completed MBA in India from AP. My high school (8-10) 4 teachers only handling all the subject with half knowledge my mind set like 35 marks is enough but my thoughts is wrong it's not a matter of marks its about talent worth on the subject but I have waste my all time insufficient teachers. Motivation from my seniors is most threats becoz of they make maths is very tuff they did motivated. Motivation is important
Syllabus is way too old and out dated as compare to this modern era.
being a poor country :
no money to pay for education
no staff & facility to give education
no work to learn for
yes i have also seen this in rural areas where the teachers are enjoying and making busy their schedule in gossips and sake of this students has to suffer for their studies
I also want know english
Our Indian education is best but only thing is we need to train the teachers upto the present .
In abroad people want to get admission in government colleges and university, but in India, people do not want to get admission in government colleges, because they are not good.
We want quality of education. Not education.
very good think
Infrastructure is far better in western Universities.
You should have some prominent and renowned panel for such important topics
hmm
Most of the private college is doing business from students
india has quantity not the quality.
right
Exactly
Mulle bhaag Bharat se
Why are u talking like this India is not your father's property
In that quantity u are one of them, remember it
But Indian education system provide platform to all kinds of students whether they are poor or from village...all type of students can survive in Indian education system but it's difficult for a middle class or a student who does not know proper English to survive in foreign and adopt their education system.
Sundar pichai and satya nadela they all studied from stanford or Oxford I mean foreign. If they studied in India then now there would be no one as sundar pichai
Wow..
Sundar pichai completed his graduation from IIT khadagpur
What about narayan murthy 😌he studied in India even he doesn't studied in iit but he was the founder of infosys
@@scienceislife36 Narayan Murti's is not an employee of Infosys...he is founder of Infosys.....It doesn't require any degree to start ur own business
@The Minion our education system is a killer of smart minds
My feling is to try to acquire the plus points in forgien education cystem
Raging debate going on, which education system provides good whether its indian system or overseas studies.
We are undeniably that foreign education providing healthy education for students due to their college standards and dedication . Why iam say like this means, abroad system sets proper flow chart and cycle that is how to manage the students psyche and what are the steps are good for their future career and they mainly feed the intellectual skill for their adolescents but in our case its not happened due to unawareness of future and not proper goal setting
It's simple their universities show that up
I have no about the system of foreign education Bcz got education from India
So no opinion about the subject
India should learn from devloped country how to improve our education system we should also invite devloped county lecturers to in our college and school for debate and motivate our student. Also we should need to learn how we can compete world wide education. There is lot of thing is required to change our education policy
instead of surveying history of education, Indian H.R.D authority should go and look at the schools and universities and should ask to a student that weather he or she is really happy by whatever he or she is studying. educating a mind without educating a heart is not an education at all.
literacy rate is just a number, if your kid is going to a school or university he is educated but what about those skills.
let me take an example of engineering students here in India, they are studying engineering but if you give them a generator or a motor or a engine they ain't able to assemble it. but if you give it to a technician or a repair shop guy he will assemble it.
so what about those bucks you parents paid for????? what about your kids skills. our education system is full of knowledge but lack of skills. A school or an university should be made for raising the lost talent of a student not for mugging up the things. if you universities and schools teach a student according to their talent automatically our country will bloom for a better future and happy generation.
manoj joshi u r right
Rity Shimy this is the truth, but unsaid words, nobody wants to listen and nobody wants to change!!
sighs!!
and we talk about the incredible India, first we need to change the system of education.
Ur absolutely correct 1st we change than the world will change............@ manoj joshi✅
Sorry no
manoj joshi why?
if indian education is better then why no one in india has ever created OS,mobile ,engine, etc and why indias go abroad for study and not american come to india for there graduation or MS
Nice debate but primary education system should also be discussed.
Legend watching after 7 years
After 8 yrs
i agree with foreign study because study to abroad far much better than india , indian teacher don't have prefound knowledge about their particular subject but foreigners teachers have more knowledge .
Sir pls Education System Pe Sudhar karne ke liye AICTE. MCCI ko aap pehle sudhare
I think indian education system and abroad education both are at the same level, the only difference is which type of student in the college.
Please continue Ndtv india to upload more videos
According to me India have a very critical problem that most educated person do work in abroad because in India they have not got much more money
6 years...still no change
Nep 2020
To call Indian education system even a system is fucked up.
Wow ...
Yahh it's right to endure one.. other countries are have excellent ideas and creative nature .. bt in India we don't have any extra knowledges

How to we aware our parents towards games because from time immorial our parents metality is only depends on education they never think about sports if any child interest sports then family support to the child or encourage
Only ndtv like channels will organise these type of debate👏👏
Uhh finally I found something very informative which should be produced on godi media 🙂but they aren't they are just prompting their funder it's hard to find this things easily 😩🥺😌but I'm happy to be aware of this kind of news channels ...
Why does the host say, ' how will you contradict ?' why do you want him to contradict when there is nothing to contradict. Just because you want some masala in your debate. You are not even qualified to carry this debate. This is the problem with the Indian education system it makes students like you.
I correct u with one more addition to your agreement n saying while observing it that the anchor seems less confident and lack proper body synchronization language to sooth the process of the standards of debating as facilitator.
Actually it is preplanned... They both are there to put their contradictory views... But the problem of the host is that he shouldn't have let us know this.
good
The point made teachers are not giving enough for the students....which are making the students unfit ...was awesome
My opinion, regarding our educational system which are much lesser than the foreign educational system.we should have to change our systems first because if you wanted to be change seriously it shoud be started from the bottom, our current system are not providing a thinking skill to student, moreover students cant develop their skill, instead of at the very earlier stages we penetrate the students that are ias, ips, doctor these are the only pfoession are very good bettee than any other professio, if we want a very efficient student in all asepect of sectores should have to be let them to think very widely and openly. So we our systems should have to change like this, rather then study and gets marks and pass in firat class those concept must ve changed. Unfortunately students are more focusing on this right now..
I m only 1boy in debate my topic faver in Eastern education
And my class 17girls in faver of western education
They told bookish my I told my self and I m 1st and I win

Good Afternoon everyone, I am Mandeep kaur from D.C.M Ambala
I think...when we are able to writing, reading and understanding from that time we want to get education what is need for today's generation jobs...but here we are studying that is not important in our jobs..so if is anyone interested in any way.so that want take that education and practical also....sorry my english is poor....we are wasting our time to getting degrees and more...
In india most of schools or colleges focus on taking marks but not on giving knowledge to students how to deal in society etc so many other things also but in foriegn they never force the students how in india ..…...
My India is great
very good
I'm Not sure where I will go with my engineering degree...
Exams were at first for testing whether one is getting the facts and knowledge or not after studying . They gave marks for that . Now man thinks that marks are good that means student is intelligent and grabbing knowledge , and yea, gradually marks became everything
after secondary education what we learn in term of upliftment of skills the whole education system is framed to learn and memorize the subject.
sir we need job after graduation just make us skilled full person rather than a parrot
you need to take coaching for competing in the govt. exams. we should carry a standard to do our bachelors study by part time university and in that precious time we have to prepare for our job which can be beneficial for us
In our country they just teaching how to make this and that but they don't say make this. Even in so many colleges and schools they have big laboratories and workshops but don't allow any student to make any new experiment.
I fully agree with you

Our professors are outdated.
Its not the Education System, it's the people.
The Indian Education System is literally free, you can download the NCERT books (ncert.nic.in/textbook/textbook.htm), and read it on a phone
The Affordable Access to internet over the last few years has made it possible for anyone with a phone to be able to study and pursue any subject. And nowadays nearly everyone has a phone.
The people on the other hand would Use internet for "other purpose".
Any education system gives you the basics, researching and curiosity is ones own.
Where is discipline in indian colleges?.
I feel so happy..
Watching from Bangladesh.
Everybody would agree with me when I say indians are hardworking I prefer studying abroad more benificial for the open category students and nowadays everybody wants a name lika a distinction" like so as so has studied from that country" that boosts up the confidence and raises the person and also to stay in a different CULTURE is wonderful experience for me, I would say I would prefer first the culturally disticted place than going for a nearby or a prestigious institution in a known place.
Family and Society also perceive differently in these countries.
India have quantity if quality studies required
For job seeks , Skill based education is necessary.
I wish I was born in america.Man i am from kerala and its schools sucks. We have have 8 hours of school. We have to wear shoes during rainy seasons.
