This week we took our training to Colorado to get some time on feet at altitude while we crew and pace our friends at the 2022 Hardrock 100.

Extended cut, please. Gorgeous footage from Silverton - such a magical place. Was there the week before Hardrock for a different race and could not believe how beautiful it is. Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
Please release more long form, extended cut videos when possible. I love the mountains, but can't get there often. So while I'm toiling away on my treadmill I will watch these videos to inspire, and motivate myself, vicariously following your adventures. Thank you for all the wonderful content.

Please do share the extended Hardrock footage, Jeff! I spent some time in the San Juans about 5 years ago, and am fascinated by this race. You just can’t appreciate the magnitude of the beauty and challenge of this loop unless you’ve been there!

Beautiful footage. Grant Swamp looking in any direction is amazing. Looking across to Oscars knowing that’s where you are headed. And vice versa in the other direction, looking from Oscars to Grant Swamp.
I paced that section years ago heading in the other direction. I think I preferred it - Island Lake is a nice reveal!
I was just up there, literally up at Grant Swamp Pass getting stellar drone shots about a week before you. I tried to find a route up Tower Mountain I'm guessing there was a strava heat map that showed you where to find a trail? I tried to summit that peak overtop of Silverton and about half way same thing, thunder rolled in and I had to bail.
Yep, we used Strava heat maps to plan our route. Those damn thunderstorms!
@@JeffPelletier I found some routes afterwards on strava heat maps that didn't show up anywhere else in that SIlverton area. I was only able to go up to island lake/ ice lake then had to move on as thunder and rain encompassed the whole week I was there.

I live in Salt Lake City!!! What trail did you do? I think I saw Jordan River Trail? What was the other? I did a 10 mile 1400ft hike last week. Hardest hike this year!
Nice! It’s beautiful there, so many trails to explore, I’ll definitely have to come back. We did the Desolation Trail in Mill Creek Canyon.
