I totally agree with you. They should have given Lucy some better plots when she returned to the show in 1988. There's so much more they could have done with her.

Thank you for your suggestion. I did make one video of Jock and Ellie way back. Lately I haven't had much time to do fan videos as I have done so much professional editing for work so when I have time off I prefer to do other things.
lol yeah Christmas music would be good at this time of the year but not so much in july so... I wish they had celebrated Christmas at least once on the show though.
@@Karsch100 the relationship Lucy had with Cally I think should had been the relationship she should have had with Jamie Ewing. But Janie and Lucy had almost no screen time together despite both living at south fork for a few months.
@@donnn-sg4mk Well I guess they wanted other stories for Jamie since they had her marrying Cliff Barnes. Personally I like the cally character a lot more than the Jamie character. Maybe it's because I saw the Cally character in the original run. I began watching Dallas towards the end of the show. Lucy has always been a favorite of mine too. :)
@@Karsch100 yes plus the writers knew Lucy was leaving at this stage so they really did not give her much to do. If you watch her last season her story line are isolated from the rest of the family. It was sue Allen who struck up a friendship with Jamie. I liked Lucy, she was not my fav character but I liked her. It was great to see her make comeback in the later seasons. She did not do much in her return but it was still fun to have her back.

Still she was an intergral part of the Ewing family and her sarcasm and the way she spoke about JR was hilarious. Right about the season when Jamie came on the show. I wish they had shown more of Lucy's reconciliation with Mitch though. In a scene at the hospital there was a woman who observed them when Lucy hugged Mitch, she looked jealous. It makes me think that they had planned to create a few more obstacles before they got back together that season. But nothing ever came out of it.

Lucy 2.0 was underused, but it was nice to have her back. She was Dallas royalty but the writers should have done more with her.
