- This is a tribute video to Jim Davis and Barbara Bel Geddes who portrayed the Ewing patriarch Jock and matriarch Miss Ellie on the tv-series Dallas.
It is set to the song "I wanna reach out and touch you" by Karen Brooks.
The song is labelled "Jock & Miss Ellie's song" on the album "Dallas The Music Story". :)
Super schönes Video 👍👍
Mein Lieblingskarakter Miss Ellie ❤😍
Rip. Barbara Bel Geddes 🕯
Rip. Jim Davis 🕯
Beautifuly done l love it and it does fit them
Thank you Kay. :)
Both Jim Davis and Barbara Bel Geddes will ALWAYS be Jock and Miss Ellie, you cant replace either one of them for those roles
I agree they were really perfect in these roles. :)
I agree with you completely
I just can't watch Dallas without Jock. Whenever we see him for the last time, going on the second honeymoon, I go back to the first episode. What a shame he wasn't there for at least 8-10 seasons.
I actually enjoy the years after his passing more. But the show certainly never was the same after Jock passed away. It's a shame he died so young but cancer sucks!
Thanks for watching. I am glad that you enjoyed the video. I agree that Jock and Miss Ellie had a good relationship. It's sad it ended so early... :(
Lovely video, nice seeing Jock and Ellie in video's. Barbara and Jim were wonderful on Dallas.. Sweet video, thanks for sharing.
Jessie
Every time I see dallas and see jock and ellie it reminds me of my own mama and daddy
This video is AMAZING!! JD and BBG forever!
Thank you. Yes they were great actors. :)
Thanks Jessie. Yes they were amazing. I think they added a special quality to the show, especially since they had been acting in the "old hollywood" before doing tv. Also without Jock and Ellie there hadn't been a sense of family that I think a lot of people can relate to! :)
Thank you for posting Maam🤠🐎🏜
you're welcome. I edited the video together too!
The best married couple on Dallas
Clayton Farlow was a POS. She should've married Wes Parmalee, Jock or not. And he was.
Every time I watch this video I like it more and more, it´s so touching! I loved the song from the Dallas LP but your clip selection is great, as usual! Toni
Thank you so much Toni. I really like the song too. It said on the LP that it was Miss Ellie and Jock's song so it was quite obvious what I wanted to do with it. :) x
@Batman1989ify Thank you for watching the video. Jim Davis was great. Even after he'd died his presence was always there on the show...
Ive being looking so long for this song thank you very much for uploading
You're welcome. :)
@melindajo2000 aww thanks Melinda, I am glad that this is one of your all time favorite videos of mine. :)
Yeah that is a cute scene. I will try to upload my first Jock/Ellie video to youtube some day as well. :)
@moviechick9620 Thank you. :)
Bloody typical.Jim Davis waits most of his acting life to be famous, finally it happens and then he is taken from us.
I know. It doesn't seem fair. But at least he made it in his lifetime and was able to appreciate it. :)
