Kenny Rogers song was perfect, I grew up watching Dallas and then when it was brought back. I knew when Larry Hagman passed the show was over, he was Dallas then and before with the original. Jock and Miss Ellie brought so much to the show and that is the stage experience many of there generation had ; and old Hollywood grace and charm, their chemistry together was inescapable.
They were and still are, tv royalty. Even though they let JR get away with anything he wanted and never clipped his wings. I still love Jock and Miss Ellie. I love this video, it was done with grace and dignity. Rest in Peace Jim and Barbara
