@@OnlyTheStrongSurvive416 I think it's a phenomenal bike. Very impressed with it. The performance fit perfectly well with the styling and the convenience of the Dual clutch transmission in a way, for me it just added to the charm of the thing. I would recommend it to anybody.
I’m also interested if Honda would do a Rebel in the future with the V3? Hmmm. Would be quite a runner and put some other “muscle cruisers “ on notice. Loved the bike. Great ride and review B!
@@Skidz75 I don't know how many comments I've read on Nightster reviews of people saying "Why would I spend so much money on this when I can get a Rebel 1100 with DCT with better performance?". Dude, absolutely. I love mine and will be keeping it a long time.
I think the Rebel line was focused on new and short riders. Riders that were sorta locked out of the biking scene. At least the chassis was. Then Honda used existing motors from other bikes, CB300, CBR500, and Africa Twin, they had in their line up. I bet the V3 gets its own, fancier and pricier, line of bikes. Then the Rebel line up will get the motor (Rebel 800?) if the V3 bikes are successful.
Actually as much as DCT is convenient still i feel like the manual bikes gives you plenty of maneuvering and control more than letting the computer do it for you plus manual is less sophisticated than DCT means easier to maintain, less malfunctions
I don't like the idea of riding below idle speed on my DCT. It'll do it but it is slipping the clutch to do it. Excessively wearing it. Ride at idle speed or coast throttle full off, is better, just like on my manual clutch. Just like when I'm idling with my manual clutch fully engaged. Old Ferrari 430 owners and early Porsche PDK owners burned up their dual clutches doing slow "showing off" drives in parking lots. Never letting the early clutches fully lock up. Cruising by at below idle speed with the clutch slipping.
The Rebel name is well known and respected for it's 250 intro bike. It's about time they made it into an 1100. I think it'll do well. I can tell it's not quite for me. However, I like there's a bike for every rider and the price point is fair.
I bought my brand new 2023 Honda Rebel 1100 DCT in July 2024 and I love it! Years ago I recovered from carpal tunnel so I am thankful for DCT 🥇

The aesthetics and Tech on this Bike are super cool B.

Is it possible to adjust or extend foward, the foot pedals?
I did not notice any adjustment with the foot pegs. There may be an aftermarket solution for that
