Wtf after being attacked by anther hiker that’s crazy. Sounds like a hate crime to me.
He wasn’t attacked by another hiker. He was spooked by a bear or another animal, and he tripped as a result.

Shouldn't the main story here be the fact there there may be a psycho out there attacking hikers.
We shouldn't call people hero's just because they acted human. A hero, in my book, is someone who risks their life to save another.
That was not a solo trip. He has a romantic male partner who attacked him when they fought.
