Not sure if thats HMS Excellent,i was there many years ago as a 15year old sea Cadet for two Weeks,i was also a drummer in the band,we would have killed for the instruments those youngsters have, they are better than we were.
I wish I was part of the band but I don't play a instrument and someone from my unit just got accepted into royal marines band a few months ago I'm a sea cadet as of now I'm 14 do you have any advise
We don’t really have any music instructors at our unit but we have an ex army bugler. Though I might go on a district band coarse or something after lockdown - CFC Hutton D

Also me, as a Filipino band, I don't read notes, *I memorize the notes myself and tune the trumpet* *I'm asian, so I don't read the notes to memorize.*

Mr Smith, your school might be able to help you out. They might be able to hook you up with an RM who will be happy to teach you music.
@@brownbear2419 ok thank you
Mr. Smith, you're welcome. Go to the Royal Marines Instagram account. They might be able to help you as well. Don't give up on your dream. D RN

I still don't understand how they are able to read the music that small
You soon learn as you know the tunes after a while off by hart
I am a pipper, you memorize the music. The more you practice. The more you remember the notes to play.
