I likely have ADHD and have had EDs on and off for my entire life (I'm in my 30s now), so eating is hard. When I said to my psychologist that it was like a toddler was in my head, screaming that it didn't want food, she said "what does the toddler want to eat?" The answer was mac and cheese. Even if the food isn't healthy, she said go for it. It's better than eating nothing.

As a performer who has definitely fainted, had light-headedness, terrible mood swings, and lost sleep all while weighing WAY more than any of these idols, being just under 178cm myself, the details of their extreme dieting hits home in ways I wish it didn’t. There is a lot of pressure involved from many angles, to have a career in entertainment, but over the years, I have made a lot of progress in my relationship with food and my dysmorphia. I intermittent fast and make sure to eat protein-rich before performing. I feel a very intense difference when I do versus when I don’t. Staying hydrated and drinking water is also so important, but omg water only? That is not sustainable. I’ve had to learn the hard way. I wish such feelings and experiences around food on no one. I hope for a future where all performing artists can do what we love and love ourselves, too.

Healthy in relation to the others that often would contain nothing of the minimum nutrition the body needs not to break down its own organs, like at least a tiny bit of fats and proteins. You shouldn't diet your internal organs, which includes your brain... in this way, the seemingly "healthy" diets including nothing but fruit is i reality very unhealthy.

Nobody else has chimed in yet, so let me be the one to say it. Please don’t try this! Work out and be mindful about what you eat. Putting a scale in front of the fridge could be a slippery slope, especially because your body weight will fluctuate throughout the day! Anyway, God bless. Jesus love you my friend!

I checked and I’m 4 pounds over the weight expected by K-pop stars. that’s INSANE. somehow even me being “disgustingly underweight” IS OVER THE LIMIT!? Please do not follow these horrible standards, be healthy and love yourself! and if you think you will be praised and called pretty, think again. I constantly get called horrible things for my weight. You will get criticized by people no matter what you do, so choose to be healthy and learn how to not care what people think, love yourself!!
