That's exactly my point! Having buying a used bike is always a russian roulette, doesn't matter if it has 500 or 5000 miles or whatever on odometer, cause you never know how it was run in. So I decided to buy a new Husky too )

Proper break in: warm up the engine, drive it like you plan on riding it. Dont baby it. Old school break in procedures are based on rings seating properly in the cylinder. Modern engines have way tighter clearances.
Definitely, that's exactly what I'm doing but without redlining or brutal wheelies.
The engine is Gorgeous!!! Love the brown color!!! There is a nut on the rear brake pedal that may come loose and lock the rear brake while riding, I cooked my rotor and fluid!!! That was the only issue i had with it in 3- years!!!
I think you should get a mother husky because you and everyone else seemed to love it.

Thank God I have a KLX300R, 2020 + green sticker w/ the emissions thing on it + spark arrestor.. Gonna leave it stock and throw the mirrors and blinkers on, add the horn, and the tail light and head light...with the hopes of getting it plated ! Better chance than a red sticker 450 bike that's for sure..

You should get a Honda CRF 450 R they’re very reliable and they go fast I have one and I’ve only had to change the oil in it and put gas and I never had a problem with it.

Congratulations. I am considering super moto or enduro. I have a fe250 for offroad but find my self riding but on street. I prefer super moto over a regular sports bike for the upright feel. Very nice!

I share your dream and own the same bike. I would add, no tachometer on this bike. So it’s easy to see how some loco could ruin this (redline abuse). Husqvarna assumes you know how to use a motorcycle. This is why I didn’t buy used. Also, the 2020 bike is smoother than the 2019 bike. They improved things. I wanted the enduro, but I’m too short. If I can ever afford that leg breaking surgery to add an inch or two, I’ll get the enduro.

Thank you! I had to look around a little as well but you'll find one! I'm 6 1 and it's a perfect fit, it's super comfy and doesn't feel too small. It's definitely not as comfy as the 1190 but that's expected. 10/10 recommend!

Hey man! Unfortunately totaled it 3 weeks ago in a accident:/ but the stock tires are awesome for grip but they'll definitely burn up quick! And it does great on the highway but is definitely windy haha

Congratulations on your new bike! I have been toying with the idea of a street legal dirt bike for a while. Buying a purpose built bike for the road is the only way to go imo. Dirt bike engines are not put together to sit at constant speeds and so can be unreliable and very costly if they let go. Awesome bike, nice video, rip it but ride safe 👍🏻✊🏻
