Got introduced to this channel through the 701 good vids man keep it up 👍
Thanks for watching! More vids to come🤟🏼 can't wait till the bike is broke in and I can actually ride it
Imagine this is tik tok and you paid for this bike completely out of your own pocket and there would still be ppl saying. “Daddys money”
This is awesome mate, been looking for a video like this for a while now because I’m looking into getting a 2019 model, thanks for the good video. Subbed🤙🏻
U can't compare 2019 to 2020. Absolutely different bike!
I would say get a 2020, its really worth the extra cash!
So envious!! More content please. Excellent choice btw
Thank you 🤟🏼 it was a long time coming
Bro, I was so excited to see you buying this bike, it was almost I was in your place buying it. Then I came to your vid list and saw what had happened next. My condolences. And even if there is no more Husky, I subscribed anyway - I hope that will cheer you a little bit :) Respect!
love the videos keep it up
Thank you! It'll only get better from here💪🏽 can't wait to get the bike fully broken in
What a wonderful bike and what a wonderful part of the world you live in
You can buy the r&g case covers, some axle sliders and wings exhaust.
Yeah I definitely wants some case covers and axle sliders. I'll look into that pipe!
This is exactly how I break a new engine in. I have subscribed.
I appreciate the sub!
You should go look up how he broke in his ex girlfriend, hint hunter he hits girls
Nice videos. Keep it up 👌
Thank you! Another one is going up in 20 mins🤟🏼 trying my best to crank out content💪🏽
Can’t wait till you break it in and can show us how good it goes 😎😎
That video is going to be a banger🤟🏼🔥🔥 can't wait!
Chester Anderson yeah same man can’t wait for the wheelies
Saw your channel through tik tok😂 not disappointed, keep up the good work👌👍
Thank you for checking it out 🤟🏼😂 more to come 💪🏽
My friend, the most impotent before breaking-in: put on a safe motorcycle jacket and other safety clothes, booths please!
Nice to see that you care so much your new big bore. Don’t forget an oil + oil filter change at +-1500~2000Km.
I just picked up some new boots and I have full leathers🤟🏼 I just don't wear them puting around town, definitely! First oil change is coming at the 1km mark!
@@TheonlyrealChester 1 kilometer?
@@user-sw2lv3zp6o 1000 km
In Europe we have the smaller nicer blinkers. 😀
Yeah but your fuel is 6+$ a gallon! Ha I won :D
Looking good Chester, just running in my 20 model, will be good to compare experiences
Nice! How are you liking it?
@@TheonlyrealChester Its a big change from my other bikes but even just running it in makes me smile! I had the akro end can put on which made it sound abit better but its still quite a big lump sticking out, I wish I had bought the SC project can instead.
it's amazing...! why don't use the quick shifter without pulling the clutch.?
I need to break my habit haha, I think the quick shifter works best at higher rpm
Hey m8 how you find the husky on reliability obv it's fairly new but see a ktm in garage? So in ur experience ktm, husky reliability?? Thanks good vids, chris, UK
Personally I've always beat on my bikes pretty hard and I've never had a KTM/husky leave me stranded, I'll definitely post about it if I do get stranded haha
Man, if you consider that it is almost 700cc and 1 cylinder; it is so powerful, light and easy to handle, I can't think of any negative. You should think about an akrapovic, it makes an amazing sound, you will be impressed
I got a full LeoVince right after I totaled it:(
@@TheonlyrealChester you totalled your husky?
@@TheonlyrealChester I got that too! Sounds real nice and is the most aggressive you can legally get away with here in Germany... Install was easy enough, took roughly an hour total...
Nice man I just got a Crf450rx
Nice!
U deserve more subs
I appreciate that! Its coming
That thing just wants to go I can’t wait until you open that thing up and do some wheelies
It's begging me to🥵 it's so hard not to haha, I was able to get some decent stoppies today because the tires are getting more broken in
I just can't wait till the woman he beat the shit out of gets justice, go look up her face
So have you had any issues with it consuming oil since you have it broken in now?
It got totaled at 1200 miles but I had no issues up to then!
Nice bike
Thank you!
Danm that’s a Bad ass bike but that exhaust though
Right😂 it's coming off soon
after having my drz for almost 2 months I think i'm ready to upgrade to this bike LOL
Lol😂 DRZs are bullet proof but definitely not a 693cc monster
For weehlies its a downgrade😅
How’s the bike?
Do they make a fuel controller compatible with the 2020??? I can't seem to find one for mine.
Yeah I haven't seen anything either:/ let me know if you find one and I'll do the same!
@@TheonlyrealChester I almost ordered an exhaust and then it hit me that I have yet to see a power commander made for 2020+ Huskys. Glad I did a little more research. When I hear of something I will definitely let you know.
@@HuangHangLo can't see any problem using PCV for 2019 models, fuelinjector plugs are the same and else u only need the crank signal which u could take directly from the wire going down to the crankcase/sensor
Temecula is quite a nice place to ride.
Definitely 🤟🏼
When will you change the first oil? 600 miles?
Yup! 620 is what the manual says so around there. I'm going to make a video for it
What camera do u use when ur riding
Hero 8!
What oil have you used in it?
Link in the bio! But i'm running mineral oil for the first 600 miles.
What tires are on the bike
Stock!
I know you bought a gold wing but are you going to repair this bike or ever buy a new one?
I'm buying another bike soon, the husky wasnt fixable
Looking good brother.... RottweilerPerformance carry’s epic stuff for your bike... easy to search there site, quality crew n shipping ...
I've heard good stuff about them! I'll check it out, I think I want to do the intake/tune/exhaust all at the same time
where were you taught that a hardened cylinder needs the engine to be run hard or it'll glaze which means it'll burn oil and lose compression
Yup I'm definitely aware! I'm not being easy on it by any means. Just not banging limiter yet
Letting a brand new bike idle is the worst thing you can do... Just ride it timid until it's warmed up, then increase the RPMS and "Loads" as the km/miles accumulate... ie first 100 miles, chill even when warm, next 200 miles give it more and so on. So by the time you reach the end of the break in window, you're riding it as hard as you would normally. Then break in inspection and it's done! - Most important thing: The rpm needs to VARY as often as it can, so NO IDLING and NO HIGHWAY/CRUISE CONTROL!!!
Edit: Source: I live close to the KTM/Hursq factory in Mattighofen/Austria, have KTM employees as friends and am about to own my third KTM (1290 Super Duke R 2020)... Finished watching the video: You're doing fine for break in! Just don't let it idle to warm up! Neither during break in, nor any other time... That can lead to grooves in the cylinder walls, similar to why you don't want to bog it down...
Interesting! I know you don't want a constant RPM like highway or something but I always thought letting it warm up at idle is a must. But that kinda makes sense! Thanks for the info!
@@TheonlyrealChester You're very welcome! I'll get the 701 as a loaner for our motorcycle tour from Thursday to Monday, can't wait! Always wanted to ride one! 😍
Hi mate i just get a new '21 Husq 701 today and a lots of ppl advise to change the oil and filters after 25 - 50 - 100 - 200 - 400 km in the break in procedure. I mean, for one change the filters are like 20euros plus oil, does it makes sense? What do you think? Makes it better or bs? I made my first 30km today like in the video. Thank you very much!
@@thisiswherethefunbegins Naw, that's total overkill... That's the reason for the normal oil change at like 600miles (1000km over here, should be like 600miles? Will be in the manual). Also has different run in oil, so you may be hurting the bike more than helping it by replacing it early with "normal" oil... BTW: I bought a 701 in the meantime! 2020 model, great little bike! ♥️
@@mcbrite @mcbrite Grats on your bike mate and thank you for the advice! :) My brother working as a engineer at Audi in Frankfurt, he is developing engines and he said the same today ( dont wait to heat up the engine idle, but until the oil running up, use the bike at 2000-2500-3000 rpm for minutes and then engine break back to 2, and do again and again. )
I came from tiktok lmao
but your yt chsannel is sick
I appreciate that haha
Love the vids I sub everyone should
Thank you! I appreciate that🤟🏼🤟🏼
the area your riding in looks amazing! where is this? Greetings from Amsterdam
Southern California! One of the best places to ride motorcycles!
Wings exhaust, buy it direct from wings.
What's the benefit of getting it from them? I think I'm gonna go with wings
Chester Anderson look them up, it’s cheaper to buy direct, it was pretty fast shipping and you get a free tee shirt in the box. But with the stupid ass corona no telling how long ? And it’s a great pipe , nice quality build. Email them and find out about shipping!
Chester Anderson By the way leave the baffle in, supposedly it makes more power with baffle in versus completely open.
@@troywhitlow4650 yeah definitely, when you run full open it takes away all the bottom end
Still looked like a soft break in
It does sound like a tractor. This is dodge_mafia. I was in your carbon wrap stream
Right haha, thanks for hanging out on the live!
I beat the shit outta my bikes right from 0 miles and they run great. Lol
He beats the shit out of his ex girlfriend too so don't worry buddy
If you want to see how to break in the engine properly check out my RUclips video that zap59
1000th view and 69th like
👑👑👑
I don’t think I broke my bike in right I just full throttle 😂😂
Lmao, some people do that and it works fine but you might get oil burning at higher hours
People forget to break in brakes..
Definitely, and then glaze them over
