If it’s a 2018 make sure that when you have the cylinder head cover off that you make sure the auto decompression screws are tight! There was a recall for that year where they used the wrong size screw and it loosens over time. Ask me how I know…new cam shaft and cylinder head cover later…all because a wrong size screw

450s are lighter so you feel more agile and more agressive in my opinion. 701 and 690s are heavier but more powerfull and will reach a higher top speed also. they're both fun, i prefer the 690/701 cause they got less mantainance to do
usually yes. those bikes are meant for the supermoto track and they need more maintenance. 690 and 701 are meant for the street and only need ordinary maintenance like other bikes
I ve been watching this bike 2 years now. I have a KTM Duke 640 (Duke II). The SM701 seems to be a lot of fun. Thank you for sharing your nice ride! One question: do these mirrors work? Isn't view obstructed by your hands or not? Cheers!
Sorry to insult, but can SM701 carry a passenger? Does it have pegs? I see some pegs and backhandles in a manual, but nothing in photos. Depends on versions? Can the platic subframe handle the weight?
what settings do you use? Your 701 looks super wobbly when moving from the right side of the screen to the left side. Seems like there is an issue with post processing
I think you are referring to the ultra wide lens of go pro 11, it makes bit of distortion, but the pov is wider. No post process issue. Cool channel btw!✌️🍻
sup mate loved your mt-09 vidoe's how you like the swap to the Sm 701 ? do you miss your mt in anyway ? i'm getting a new bike somewhat next year light consider the SM my only concern is i commute quite alot on the highway so i think the safer choice is the mt09

@@glennbus8057 MT-09 is more versatile, and sound is so damn gorgeous, but if you ride narrow and twisty road with a lot of u turns, you are gonna love 701✌🏻

How much quicker/faster do these feel compared to a 450? Anyone ridden both?

Thank you! Mirrors are good enough, visibility is ok, if you ride in duo, passenger knees are gonna obstruct the visibility.

Yes you can carry a passenger, usually owners remove pegs for aesthetic purpose.
Passenger Will sit properly on the saddle✌🏻
