    I've been in business for almost 13 years and the idea of what fast shipping is has changed because of Amazon. Amazon has made customers sooo impatient and made people's expectations almost unreasonable. It's been such an annoying switch as a business owner. I started to receive complaints (not a ton but enough to be like what's going on!) about my shipping times once amazon prime became a thing. I never received complaints prior and my shipping times have always remained the same! I have tried to adapt some and get things out quicker but it can't always happen - it's just me running it and I'm also a single mom. :)
    I understand that some suppliers are quicker than others but I don't usually order because one ships quicker over the other. I just have to plan around their shipping times. It is nice to receive things quickly but sometimes I wonder if the workers are overworked because people are sooo demanding of getting their supplies so quickly.

    I definitely ship quickly with my boutique sales and always receive praise from my customers how fast I ship. It definitely keeps themcoming back.

    Preach!! I am OBSESSED with Branbleberrys oils however their shipping times are so bad that I refuse to order from them again

    I was literally thinking this today with Bramble Berry (I ordered w them on the 7th) & it’s still not shipped but label was made. I ordered yesterday with Candle Science and it was shipped out same day, and is already in my city and will be delivered tomorrow!!!! It makes a huge difference. Bramble Berry is not somewhere I would want to order from bc of this

    I completely agree with fast shipping being a priority, both as a business ordering supplies and shipping to my customers. I find that communicating with my customers about the timeline for shipping helps immensely.

    I try to do same day shipping. Usually I give a 3-5 window. Its tough when you work upwards of 12 hours a day. As far as shipping from a supplier, I will order when the bottles are half full. Only one lags. BUT, they bought two companies I deal with and I more about trusting their oils. BTW try the Flaming Candle. May take a while, youre in California, they are in Georgia, but their oils are spot on.

    Fast shipping! I use Long Star for my wax. Even using ground shipping, I receive it in 2-3 days. Candlescience ground shipping has gotten better, but so expensive. I used to get Amazon a few days, now it’s a week.

    I definitely prefer the vendors that ship fast. Makesy has a hub near I suspect and common items ship to me quickly. I can drive to Lone Star. There's some others close too. Candle Science is the best on fast shipping and price and quality. Only thing is, they don't offer installment payment integration or shipping deals. Typically , spend $100-150 for free shipping is my choice vendors. I definitely consider accessibility, especially when doings pre-order/made to order.

    We are about to start shipping our products but are worried about the summer heat. Someone said they only ship candles on Monday or Tuesday, so it is not sitting in a warehouse somewhere in the heat. How do you handle shipping in high heat?

      Oh yes! We are actually about to implement a mon-wed only shipping because of the summer heat! I guess that’s the only time I go against shipping asap :)

    I think bigger candles brand should consider Africa amongst those they ship fragrances and others candles making essentials to, because that's one thing we west African candle business owners struggle with

      Hi! This is something I really want to offer! My baby is almost 10 months old and is currently teething and super attached to me so I know it would be really really hard to be able to stick with a scheduled call right now. (Unless you were open to a 2-3 hour time frame where I call you when I can 😅 )
      But I hope that in the next 6-12 months I’ll be able to have the ability to schedule out calls and offer coaching because I have had a Lot of requests for this lately!

      My wife is retired and is home most days, I'm still working, so I'm only home on weekends. We think the optimum time frame would be in 2-3 months, so it looks like this will work. Thanks for your prompt response, and have a great Independence day!

    I totally get fast shipping. Realistically, most people don't have time running around like a chicken with their heads cut off. Simply because our customers are impatient. Everyone can't be Amazon. I was stressed just by thinking about fast shipping.😂😂😂😂

      I get it! I think as long as you are transparent on your website (ie saying processing time is 3-4 days for example) that’s the most important part! And if you can under promise and over-deliver, that’s even better!
      I understand not everyone can ship same day. But trying to ship out as quickly as you can should be a priority when running a business 🩵
      I recently ordered something from a new company and it sat for over two weeks without being shipped and I had to email them and be like ?? 😅
