I think the dragon shown in this episode could be referred to as a Great or Greater Krayt Dragon, an evolved form of the traditional Krayt Dragon, which like was mentioned looks like a giant komodo. Looking at the size of the pearl retrieved at the end, I would guess that this dragon was really old, as I think I read somewhere that the pearl grows slowly and constantly for as long as the dragon is alive. The lack of extremities/limbs might be a natural process the dragon goes through if/when it reaches a certain age/size, or it could be affected by the geography through the differing soil and earth density (like how on rocky and mountainous regions of Tatooine, where the ground is solid rock, the dragons keep their limbs and hunt above ground- while in areas that is covered in huge and deep deserts, the dragon drops the limbs and goes through the sand Tremors style). ;D Or, excluding the extra material like the games and illustrations, they could have just gone with a design that would fit with the skeleton seen in ep 4. ;D ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My opinion, they just got lazy and it was the easiest way to do it. Hell they only had to render a head and neck. I've spent ages hunting krayt for pearls, for me this snake version will be chalked up to a lazy production team.
@@Enixon869 I keep reading that. The problem is it looks nothing even close to the skeleton in 'a new hope', that is a brontosaurus head/neck with the rest of the body obscured.
I wonder if they're going to play it off as Temuera Morrison being Boba's age (should be early 40's I think?) or maybe go with the whole clone fast aging thing. I mean if they put the helmet back on him, he can be any age.
@@KyleKatarnChannel they still messed with his aging in the EU novels, didn't they? I remember reading about it somewhere. If they did then we can't know for sure how the show will go.
for what i understand the Tusken sacrifice one Banta to save all the others, basic you give the Krayt dragon one banta, and he stays in his home sleeping, he don't go out looking for a all that you can eat
With the Mando hitting the jetpack does that mean the Mandalorians know about that flaw? And I am now considering the Krayt dragon in KOTOR a baby from now on. Lol And Boba looks PISSED and I LOVE IT. Can't wait to see what he does.
Who else wishes Mando comes back and TWINKS COBB VANTH WITH TOP TIER ARMOR ^^' Also, offers to make him a proper Mandalorian, after so much bravery. Wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the season he gives him back the beskar'gam...
I’m happy that the episode didn’t feel like it was just shoving in past references to make people nostalgic, you really got know some Star Wars lore to understand them and when you do it makes you feel really good for understanding them
Great reaction guys! You're my favorite Star Wars channel out there! I wonder why Boba Fett didn't try re-claiming his armor. Perhaps he doesn't want it anymore? Also I loved to get to see the Tusken Raiders in a more prominent roll. They took something old but made it feel like new!
Worth noting that neither Boba nor Jango were true Mandalorians. Jango's mentor was a Mandalorian and was tricked by Jango so he could get Mando knowledge.
@@DamienDrake2940 Where did you read that lol. Jango hasn't been given a new origin by Disney. So might as well use the legends one that doesn't contradict anything till the mouse decides to make something for him, meaning not only was he a mando, but also held the title of Mandalore.

Didn't know about any Force-sensitive droids and loved how you two ignited with the krait dragon reveal, haha.
Kyle...Bendu, I think, after watching Chapter 9, there's been more World-building in this series, than there was in the entire Sequel Trilogy. Amazing, what happens when people who love and understand the material are in charge. I want Cobb Vanth to become a recurring character. I have a feeling that, if the rumor that the series could culminate in a feature film, a la The MCU, Cobb would totally rock on THE BIG SCREEN.

It may be a retcon or maybe the process to make Boba's plates are just as durable as beskar is naturally. Thing is the Mandalorian group that Jango (and thus Boba) belonged to aren't the same as Mando's are. Not as traditional as his but also not as violent and bloodthirsty as the Death Watch from the Clone Wars.
@@Jeerin_ Jango's family was killed by Death Watch Mandolorians while they were in a civil war with a faction led by Jaster Mareel. His family was killed and he was adopted by Jaster. Eventually Jaster would die and Jango would lead the group, until they were eventually betrayed by an employer and set up to be killed by Jedi (who were led to believe Jango's forces were killing civilians). By that point Jango was the only one left from his group. He was a foundling, but his group didn't follow the same practices of constantly keeping armor on at all times.
@@Jeerin_ It's cool. I don't think they've really changed anything. I recall there was a brief mention of Jango by Death Watch, but nothing that contradicted what was in Legends.

3:29 The bearded guy totally missed the joke about the fat guy in a little coat. Tommy Boy, dude.
I absolutely love your reactions because you know your Star Wars lore 💕
makes more sense to be a burrowing land baraccuda if its diet is sarlacs as they dont get out of the ground ( lol that dune tune in the end of your reaction... so funny)
Its nice to watch someone who also knows their star wars
I think the dragon shown in this episode could be referred to as a Great or Greater Krayt Dragon, an evolved form of the traditional Krayt Dragon, which like was mentioned looks like a giant komodo. Looking at the size of the pearl retrieved at the end, I would guess that this dragon was really old, as I think I read somewhere that the pearl grows slowly and constantly for as long as the dragon is alive. The lack of extremities/limbs might be a natural process the dragon goes through if/when it reaches a certain age/size, or it could be affected by the geography through the differing soil and earth density (like how on rocky and mountainous regions of Tatooine, where the ground is solid rock, the dragons keep their limbs and hunt above ground- while in areas that is covered in huge and deep deserts, the dragon drops the limbs and goes through the sand Tremors style). ;D
Or, excluding the extra material like the games and illustrations, they could have just gone with a design that would fit with the skeleton seen in ep 4. ;D
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
My opinion, they just got lazy and it was the easiest way to do it. Hell they only had to render a head and neck. I've spent ages hunting krayt for pearls, for me this snake version will be chalked up to a lazy production team.
@@Anubis78250 or to match the skeleton from A New Hope
@@Enixon869 I keep reading that. The problem is it looks nothing even close to the skeleton in 'a new hope', that is a brontosaurus head/neck with the rest of the body obscured.
Will you play this raid in Normal or Veteran Mode ?
Mando: minor achievements are no use to me. *punches Nightmare mode*
@@Anubis78250 If I remember right, Lucas said that the Krayt Dragon was lile a giant eel in a interview many, many years ago
This episode was just pure unadulterated fan service and I am *SO HAPPY*
yet goes above and beyond. Take notes, Ruin Johnson, that's the way to subvert expectations... by SURPASSING THEM, not dissing them
Boba reveal was so great! I was shocked for 5 minutes after the reveal.
I wonder if they're going to play it off as Temuera Morrison being Boba's age (should be early 40's I think?) or maybe go with the whole clone fast aging thing. I mean if they put the helmet back on him, he can be any age.
One of Jango's requirements was that Boba was unaltered and had no growth acceleration
@@KyleKatarnChannel they still messed with his aging in the EU novels, didn't they? I remember reading about it somewhere. If they did then we can't know for sure how the show will go.
It’s nice to watch a reaction video by viewers who get the small details
for what i understand the Tusken sacrifice one Banta to save all the others, basic you give the Krayt dragon one banta, and he stays in his home sleeping, he don't go out looking for a all that you can eat
Boba's armor is not pure beskar. It is a beskar alloy, meaning beskar mixed with another metal.
With the Mando hitting the jetpack does that mean the Mandalorians know about that flaw?
And I am now considering the Krayt dragon in KOTOR a baby from now on. Lol
And Boba looks PISSED and I LOVE IT. Can't wait to see what he does.
It’s not a baby it’s a different type of krayt dragon
LOL who else is just watching these reactions 1 after another???
Who else wishes Mando comes back and TWINKS COBB VANTH WITH TOP TIER ARMOR ^^'
Also, offers to make him a proper Mandalorian, after so much bravery.
Well turns out he wanted it
Krayt Dragon;
Abandonned Sarlacc Pit;
That episode is all Boba!
Under Bendu it's written "Excited AF" and under Kyle Katarn it's written "Actual Mando".
"That`s so dumb, i want one." Lmao!
Boba’s armour is dura-steel not beskar but that might be retconned in future episodes
Worth noting that neither Boba nor Jango were true Mandalorians. Jango's mentor was a Mandalorian and was tricked by Jango so he could get Mando knowledge.
@@DamienDrake2940 that's.... the new canon's version of Jango's origin? What the actual fuck?
@@huntrdragn4559 same! What the hell?
is beskar and they're mandos
@@DamienDrake2940 Where did you read that lol. Jango hasn't been given a new origin by Disney. So might as well use the legends one that doesn't contradict anything till the mouse decides to make something for him, meaning not only was he a mando, but also held the title of Mandalore.
They come together a LOT of canon and Legends stuff we already know and made Star Wars completely new and entertaining
Best reaction because you guys are authentic. Awesome.
I’ve never been more attracted to a man than when Kyle identifies specific weapon models and I don’t know why
Been waiting for this reaction 🤣 Katarn squadron represent
I loved this episode. Season 2 started off with a bang! 🔥💥
7:36 was literally me at the same time lol, actually me during most of the episode
I actuallu rewinded a few seconds back to make sure I heard that right, I was just really surprised
The prodigal son has returned at last!!
Enjoy how you guys geek out at all the story nuggets that pop up true star wars fans every other reactors have no clue what's going on all they do is fanboy over baby yoda even though it isn't yoda keep it up guys.
I was as excited for your react as I was for the episode
I freaked out when I saw the krayt dragon pearl
Wasn't Annakin's racer blue, not red? Great react regardless. From one who's only really seen the first three films and only clips of the others, I've learned much watching reactors to this amazing show. Didn't know about any Force-sensitive droids and loved how you two ignited with the krait dragon reveal, haha.
Sebulba bought it and painted red.
Boba with Tusken weapons/clothes 😱😱😱
“Why don’t we get this option in the old republic?” You do. You just need HK before you meet them
How did you not grab, and put on the Boba Fett Helmet right behind you?!
It was the perfect opportunity
Gotta note - guy on the left looks almost an exact double of Gary Sinise
No more "Yoda's Species". It's "Baby Yoda's Species" now.
YEEEAAAHAHHH THIS IS THE EFFING WAAAY
Dudes, I finally got to watch it 2 days ago at night and I was HOLLERING full FUSRODAH mode !! è_é
This is SO GOOD
Great review.
Can you hear the little pop-up after the fight that goes [you have found a Dragon Pearl]
Humming omw to the workbench ^^
Now i will watch episode 2 !!! :D
I love going back to these
No one:
Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith: 15:09
I never even hoped Kyle Katarn himself will review it..
Happy Halloween everyone!
Best Star Wars reaction channel on youtube
must be so wild to play both your father and son hahaha
This does mean we could see Rex this season as well because that's the benefit of clones you can use the same actor.
I feel like i know alot of star wars... then i watch kyle and he just drops so much crazy sw knowledge.
Kyle can even read aurebesh in real time !
It's funny listening to your predictions having seen the episode 👍
when the Tuscans said in the episode that Cobb Vanth killed alot of their kind just go back think how many Tuscans Anakin killed
He wiped out an entire tribe of Tuskens.
So what was the creature that Han Solo and the gang escaped out of in Empire Strikes Back? It really looks like a Krayt Dragon.
Thats called an Exogorth
yassss i was waiting to find your reaction!!
I’m pretty sure I remember hearing that boba/jango’s armor is durasteel not beskar
@@Igarappappa im pretty sure jango was exiled
@@Jeerin_ Jango's family was killed by Death Watch Mandolorians while they were in a civil war with a faction led by Jaster Mareel. His family was killed and he was adopted by Jaster. Eventually Jaster would die and Jango would lead the group, until they were eventually betrayed by an employer and set up to be killed by Jedi (who were led to believe Jango's forces were killing civilians). By that point Jango was the only one left from his group. He was a foundling, but his group didn't follow the same practices of constantly keeping armor on at all times.
@@Igarappappa ah, my bad. all this lore gets mixed together XD
@@Jeerin_ It's cool. I don't think they've really changed anything. I recall there was a brief mention of Jango by Death Watch, but nothing that contradicted what was in Legends.
