It's not 4 years. The last time we heard her voice in the Rebels was before the new hope. These events happening here are 5 years after the return of the Jedi. At least 12/13 years passed. She was around 30 there, now she is 45.
I'm seriously amazed at how Filoni and Favreau can balance rewarding fans of clones and rebels with so many drops and references, with making it badass enough that casuals can enjoy it. Give the keys to them already! They're making 2020 bearable
Yes Beskar is light saber proof that's the whole point, During the Great Mandalorian - Jedi war which was led by the Great mandalore as referenced by the Armorer the Mandalorian's discovered the metal and it's properties to withstand light saber's and used it in their armor and weapon's to combat the Jedi and at some point's bested them and pushed them back in the Great Crusade. And it's the reason the Magistrate wanted to hire him, Mandalorian's were known as Jedi Killer's.
That last scene of her smiling with her theme playing still gets me. I grew up watching clone wars, I grew up watching Ahsoka age throughout Star Wars. To see her in live action now will always be one of my favorite moments in Star Wars
Yay! Y'all are still here! Well done, to your new editor. I've been looking forward to watching y'all. Enjoyed hearing your takes on the show and the info you helpfully provide to folks. We're all practically holding our breaths waiting for the next chapter. What is gonna happen next!?!! On a somber note, I'm feeling sad from the news about David Prowse. 1977, on opening night in Atlanta, Georgia-we watched in rapt fascination as Leia's ship flew into view, and our eyeballs bugged out as we watched Vader's ride go by, with the sound system thundering. And then, Lord Darth Vader strides onto the big screen and into our lives-we were thrilled out of our minds, haha. Impressive. Most impressive. He helped turn us, and so many who followed in later years, forever into Star Wars fans. I'm wearing my old Darth Vader Lives button right now. Oh, how the arguments flew back then when some folks said Vader had died at the end of the movie and the rest of us were saying-are you freaking blind, Darth Vader is alive! And someone made those buttons, and I bought one. See, its been going on for years-fans talking, and sometimes arguing, about Star Wars stories when they come out. Its a tradition! Its Star Wars. : )
RIP David Prowse the man behind the armour of 'Darth Vader', 1 coolest badass villains in movie history... & the infamous 'Greencross code man' from late 70s/80s here in 🇬🇧
"I've seen what it can do to a fully fledged Jedi Knight. To the best of us...." She still remembers her master after so long. I hope Luke told her how Anakin was brought back to the light and killed Palpatine.
I'm thinking that right after a Ahsoka got the information about where Thrawn was, that's when she goes and picks up Sabine on Lothal & that's when the search for Ezra begins. In other words, Ahsoka finding out where Thrawn was sets up the ending scene we saw in Rebels.
As for the voice ,Yes she was last seen in the epilogue of rebels but she disn't speak in the epilogue of rebels. The last time we heard her was 11 years ago at malachor.
Love your reaction GREAT chapter they weren't kidding when the people involved have been saying season 2 takes it to a whole new level! Hal Hickel posted on twitter yesterday "Y’all in for a rollercoaster these last three episodes. :) #Mandalorian" .I am so glad this is week to week 10 minutes after the chapter I start fiending for the next!!
Everything was so spot on in this, everything. The Filoni-verse is where SW is at. Ashoka transfer over was perfect. I cried so many times and have rewatched about 12 times now lol
Question. What do we think of the idea of Thrawn being "the volunteer" the doctor mentioned in his hologram from last episode? Thrawn in Rebels mentioned several times of not understanding the ways of the Force, or feeling the Jedi didn't use the Force correctly (in his viewpoint) and things along those lines. Now, after experiencing what Ezra and Kanan could do, probably after the Bendu as well, Thrawn would want to possess such powers if possible. A Force sensitive Thrawn would be formidable, only the strongest of plot armor could take him down. Just my two cents here. Glad this reaction was able to stay up!!
I don't know if you know this but the Enforcer guy who stands off with the Mandalorian is Michael Biehn who played in Tombstone, Terminator and one of the Alien movies. And the woman Ashoka faces off against is played by the Goddaughter of Bruce Lee and is a legendary actor and martial artist in the cinema world. There was some serious pedigree in this episode. Also I heard that Hayden is coming back and is cask as Anakin for season's 3 and 4 and will be interacting with Ashoka. And there were soooo many Old Republic easter eggs in this episode as well as Thrawn and possibly Erza so this is exciting.
I know, right! I love Michael in all the shows he is in. Check him out in the movie, K2. Its really good. "I got no quarrel with you, Mandalorian." "Fight's not with you, Holliday." What a great tip of the hat to a great prior movie showdown scene.
I'm glad you guys touched on how Grogu and Ahsoka have gone through a lot of tragedy in their lives. Speaking of which, do you think that Grogu's life experiences may have developmentally set him back a bit? A life of hiding and being passed around among various factions as a "commodity", depriving him of social interaction could have contributed to him being "unable" to speak outside of telepathy. Yoda is already instructing young Jedi by his 100th year iirc and Grogu is already halfway there, but is still stuck to cooing like an infant, when he probably should be capable of some basic, at least at a toddler level. His adventures with Din Djarin may be Grogu's first taste of "positive" social interaction since being taken away from the temple at Coruscant, despite all the violence it exposes him to. He seems to have been opening up more recently though and I wonder if we will be able to hear him speak his first words of basic this season. :) Also, what would Grogu's name be like relative to Mando? Din Grogu? Grogu Djarin? XD
when Jedi Grogu put his hands on that incubator tank with all the eggs the first time the eggs ,they were going to him slightly that was awesome The Savage little Yoda

Grand admiral is highest rank in the imperial navy along with Grand moff at the highest regional government rank , that puts moff gideon second in command below grand admiral and grand moff. Thrawn is in control of the remaining imperial forces after the ROTJ event
I’ve been waiting for your reaction ! Haha ! Love your content man ❤️
Battle scars on her lekku caused her voice to age. It is known that lekku are used as forms of communication among the Togruta. Scarred Lekku don't vibrate the way they should...therefore lower registry! Just saying...
(18:28) I did watch through the episode again just to check and it does appear that the bad guy’s weapon is a shotgun blaster not a slugthrower. For one thing the sound and appearance of the weapon firing is wrong. For another it has seven barrels, not the one or two that a slugthrower would have. I would love to see slugthrowers being used in a live action production by someone other than the Sand People or villainous assassins (Aurra Sing, Zam Wessel, etc.). Though I would take a villain using a Verpine slugthrower or FC-1 flechette launcher...
Glad to see progress with your vids staying up. You guys are always one of the first I want to see react. Specially these these past 3 episodes. Amazing Star Wars content we’re getting
21:50 the actor he was in game of thrones with his character knew spear mastery. Pedro learned bit of real spear arts so for sure expect a episode of him fighting ppl with it.
Hopefully she know what Anakin has done destroying the Sith, dying a Jedi.
@The Ols hopefully 🙏
@@Bryfficial Being able to project as a force ghost beyond death is very new to jedi. Qui-Gonn was the first to start the training though he never finished before death which is why he has only shown up at temples. He got word to Yoda who is the first to complete the training and Yoda told Obi-Wan in RotS before they went into hiding.
Kept refreshing to see if this was posted. Couldn’t wait to see your reactions.
Samurai showdown and western standoff happening simultaneously. Gotta love it
i read somewhere else someone said how it was interesting she held her sabers like most other jedi did until she lost the one then reverted to her normal stance with the saber basically showing she wasn't really taking the fight serious at first
11:05 You're extensive knowledge in the Star Wars Universe is so great! Like just recognizing that droid from a scene I can't even remember is just great!
It's not 4 years. The last time we heard her voice in the Rebels was before the new hope. These events happening here are 5 years after the return of the Jedi. At least 12/13 years passed. She was around 30 there, now she is 45.
I just noticed Bendu's airbender tattoos on his forearm. That is so awesome!
Ahsoka nailing it in live-action is one thing, then she mentioned Thrawn! This is too much lol, no wonder Kyle's head exploded! :D
7:46
He wasn't careful not to choke on his aspirations.
You guys are the best reactors for star wars you know exactly what you're watching.
I'm seriously amazed at how Filoni and Favreau can balance rewarding fans of clones and rebels with so many drops and references, with making it badass enough that casuals can enjoy it. Give the keys to them already! They're making 2020 bearable
I totally need a T Shirt with Ahsoka standing over the split gong with lightsaber drawn that says "Fuck your gong."
dudes, you guys have the best reactions/reviews. worth waiting for. keep it coming.
Ngl, this video hits different after hearing about David Prowse's passing. I've been an emotional wreck for a couple hours now 🥺💔
Loved the reaction. So pleased to see real Star Wars people appreciate and understand what they are seeing.
It prompted a reaction in me I haven't experienced since watching the original film's ,I'm like a giant kid 🤣🤣
I just realized, they just gave Din Djarin the tool (the Beskar spear) to fight Moff Gideon's dark saber.
Name Drops:
Grogu
"What!!!"
Grand Admiral Thrawn
*WHAAAAAAAT!!!!!*
grogu
That last scene of her smiling with her theme playing still gets me. I grew up watching clone wars, I grew up watching Ahsoka age throughout Star Wars. To see her in live action now will always be one of my favorite moments in Star Wars
Clicked on this fast before it gets taken down lol
this channel is such a gem, hope you guys dont get any more strikes, keep up the reactions dudes!
I'm not going to be blown away... proceeds to be blown away hard.
I hope Luke told her how Anakin was brought back to the light and killed Palpatine.
damn shoutout to nerd chronic he edits all the reaction channels I watch lmao
I'm thinking that right after a Ahsoka got the information about where Thrawn was, that's when she goes and picks up Sabine on Lothal & that's when the search for Ezra begins. In other words, Ahsoka finding out where Thrawn was sets up the ending scene we saw in Rebels.
As for the voice ,Yes she was last seen in the epilogue of rebels but she disn't speak in the epilogue of rebels. The last time we heard her was 11 years ago at malachor.
This was the reaction I was waiting for. Was not disappointed.
hm, did anyone notice the music when Mando is getting baby yoda from the ship- almost medieval. Like a knight returning
Great Episode! Great Reaction! Kyles knowledge of Star Wars is just incredible! Keep it up :)
I'm calling a final battle between Moff Gideon with the Dark Saber vs. Mando with the Beskar Spear..
Im getting massive heir to the empire vibes. If Thrawn is in control of the Imperial remnant, that will make folk so happy.
I hope this sets up Heir to the Empire. I could die happy if Filoni and Faveru adapt those books. 😁
That would be awesome!!!
I've been impatiently waiting on this reaction.
Give him and Favreau the reigns over the whole franchise. Magic would happen
Everyone praises filoni...it wouldnt be possible if jon favreau did create this show
You mean the star wars universe?
5-1 Thrawn & Moff Gideon ARE working together.
Mando is ready to take on the Darksaber now that he’s got the spear.
Which would explain why Giancarlo Esposito mentioned that he broke several light sabers while filming a fight. This. Is. Gonna. Be. Awesome.
"I got no quarrel with you, Mandalorian."
"Fight's not with you, Holliday."
What a great tip of the hat to a great prior movie showdown scene.
Also, what would Grogu's name be like relative to Mando? Din Grogu? Grogu Djarin? XD
I reacted the same way when they mention Tython , I love that era and games.
when Jedi Grogu put his hands on that incubator tank with all the eggs the first time the eggs ,they were going to him slightly that was awesome The Savage little Yoda
I was so waiting for the Thrawn reveal moment! :)
Grogu is the king of Jedi temple hide and seek. That is my favorite joke these past few days.
