The sarlac is a kinda plant with a slow digestive process, so if the crate dragon ate it but Boba lost his armor in the escape jawas salvage armor from sarlac carcass
Awesome; I look forward to the stream! Brilliant reaction and costumes, you two; Nikki gorgeous and adorable, Steven epic, and your baby Yoda/the child is the best one I've seen (I'll have to find my own like that)! Too perfect. Thanks, guys, and Happy Halloween!! Mwahaha! Stay well/much love!
"You can call me Darth . . . Solo"
(Nikki rolls eyes)
You two kill me sometimes!
React to the dragon prince on netflix!
Two things I can always count on from a Nikki and Steven reaction:
Steven: “Leeeeetttt’s GO!!!!”
Nikki: “Oh, bitch!” (At least one 😏)
"This is no place for a child"
Baby Yoda: *laughs as IG-11 cruises through a town blasting stormtroopers left and right*
Right? And for e fire bending a flame trooper. Come on that’s essentially what it was. Nikki’s such a mom :).
Shame he sacrificed himself,he was a very good Nurse-Droid
Nikki’s “um hello” when Timothy Olyphant popped out...was me
When I watched this with my dad, the conversation we had was "Huh, that guy looks kinda like Timothy Olyphant." "Ha, I was just thinking the same thing!" "Who is he?" (Quick Google search) "Timothy Olyphant."
The talks with the sand people, using a bantha as bait, the explosives and even the loot pearl. This episode was a huge callback to KOTOR.
It sure made me happy.
I was immediately thinking "they want the pearl!!"
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse If KotOR ever got its own series/movies, Favreau is the only person I would trust to head that project.
Even the cave looked just like the one from KotOR.
@@valashar5313 just imagine if there was the star map in that cave that leads to the star forge
It's nothing like KOTOR. In KOTOR you slaughter all the sand people...
Yes that was clearly Boba at the end, looking like his father/clone template...
I guess Boba is the only natural born child of the template!
@@trottheblackdog No hes still a clone he was just modified to not age fast
@@trottheblackdog in fact, Boba, is not natural born.... he's an unaltered clone (but still a clone) ((EDIT: WOW.. THAT'S A LOT OF LIKES FOR THIS COMMENT IN SUCH A SHORT TIME :3
It was the same actor that played his dad in the prequel trilogy.
@@jesseclark3697 Omg really??? Lol yeah duh that's why I wrote that they look the same...
The speeder bike that the marshal was riding was originally a part of Anakin Skywalker's podracer from Episode 1.
I was just about to say this. Good catch
that's why it looked so familiar. good eyes.
I realized it was a podracer, but damn, little Ani's? There's some serious inside baseball shit in this show
@@EBlank3807 Probably not Ani's since Sebulba bought it off him. But Its likely that his win and later, Sebulba's would popularize the engine, which is actually a product on the (in universe) market: the "Radon-Ulzer 620C".
I can imagine pod racing fans would buy the engines to make replicas off the whole racer as well as custom one-offs like the Marshal's speeder. It's almost like the Dodge Tomahawk, which is a bike based on the Dodge Viper's engine.
@@kirokusanagi2648 there's confirmation that it is Anakin's.
YES that was Boba Fett at the end.
Temuera Morrison, as you all should know, played Jango Fett in episode 2, clone daddy of Boba.
This is going to be so awesome.
He also played Boba in Battlefront 1 & 2 and the game Star Wars Empire at war. It’s Boba, makes sense for him to play the role because Boba’s original actor is 75.
He’s played just about every boba jango and clone trooper ever
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElse and later dubs of Epi V and VI
Poor John Leguizamo, no one could even tell that was him in the beginning 😂
They even got him a one eyed character too on top of that!
success on the part of the makeup artist haha
after learning this i watched this again...and yea i can hear it now..kinda the john wick threats
I could tell when I first heard him, i paused disney plus and looked it up!
@@Mmontoya94 He just did the voice. it was like Nick Nolte last season. He did the voice, but there were 3 other performers for the Kuiil.
This was like the first time Nikki didn’t get upset when an animal was killed (bantha). She was more worried about the Tusken Raider than the bantha. Now that is growth right before our eyes.
That was indeed Boba Fett, as played by Temuera Morrison (the actor who played Jango Fett). Also in the aftermath novels, which were released five or so years ago, there were rumours that a lawmaker on Tattooine was wearing Boba’s armour, which this episode confirms.
I agree. My only question like Steven asked, how did the Jawas get a hold of his armour? Did he clime out of the pit but passed out/coma and the Jawas stole the armour? But Quill in season 1 said the Jawas don't steal.
@@lisawatson4691 Oh, they steal plenty. Even the sandcrawlers they drive are stolen. Kuill/Quill said they don't destroy things.
@@veszimardalath2969 Jawas dont steal my ass... in episode 2 the jawas took mando's ship apart and he had to NEGOTIATE to get his stuff back.
@@lisawatson4691 from what I know the Sarlacc died when Jabba‘s Sail Barge exploded. It’s definitely easier to get stuff from a dead Sarlacc than a living one, but I’m still not sure how they managed to get the armor off of Boba, even if he took it off he wouldn’t have let the Jawas take it, he probably would’ve just killed them
@@davidr3146 That's why he said 'They steal plenty''...
"So Star Wars has dragons now."
Actually the Krayt dragons have been a part of the lore dating back to the original '77 movie.
- C-3P0 walks into a shot next to a Krayt skeleton in the Tatooine wastes just before he is spotted by the Jawas.
- Obi-Wan imitates a Krayt roar to frighten the Tuskens away from an unconscious Luke as they're ransacking his speeder.
In the Star Wars: Galaxies MMORPG game, Krayts were a major goal for PC's with hunting skills. They didn't tunnel underground but rather roamed the deserts and canyons on legs, but they were no smaller than what we saw in the TV show. And just as lethal. You do NOT hunt these things alone. They could be harvested for Pearls (as we saw in tonight's episode) that were worth an absolute fortune in the in-game economy. Jedi character PC's would drop major coin for them in the construction of their lightsabers. Crystals were good, but apparently pearls were better. MUCH better.
I mean....Star Wars is a fantasy. A lot of people thinks this is a sci-fi, but it's not true.
@@nyuszicsib Oh yeah, it's fantasy plain and simple.
@@nyuszicsib well I mean it gots some robots and spaceships, also including lasers so it’s kinda sifi, am I wrong tho?

I think Mando surviving in all that acid is a hint for how Boba survived in the sarlac's acid. The bescar can handle lightsabers, stomach acid is nothing compared to that.
“That gave me chills seeing him”. SAME DUDE! So excited to see Tem Morrison back in Star Wars. Your guys Mando reactions last season got me into your channel, can’t wait for another season of N&S! This is the Way!

I don’t know how they did it, but that dragon didn’t look CG at all.
From what I hear it's called "That Disney Budget" lol
because it was real
@@sam4744 they definitely did an explosion practically, but the explosion we saw was edited and improved in post. Still incredible and one of the best explosions I've seen in live action ever.
@@watsondillon1997 Favreau has, in the past, raved about the filmmaking process of MAD MAX FURY ROAD, a film which really elevated the art of filming practical effects and digitally enhancing/compositing them. It sounds simple but the nuance of technique and Miller's experience of shooting that specific kind of action is what made MMFR's SFX/VFX blending look so good.
The FX in this episode of the show reminded me so much of MMFR (and also JURASSIC PARK). I don't know if they actually did a practical and digital blend (of the active assets) but the weight, texture, and detail of everything had a naturalness to it all which make me think they did.
Or, maybe ILM is just, y'know, THAT good. Which is also entirely possible.
@@AngeloBarovierSD oh yeah for sure. And yes ILM is 100% talented enough that I would believe them wholeheartedly if they announced later that this whole explosion set was completely CG. Everything from the smoke to the way the explosives lit different parts of the smoke and debris it was just perfect. And that shockwave felt so real I felt like I was there.
The Marshal may have been wearing Mandalorian armor, but I think he was justified.
Haha I see what you did there, justified 😂
Timothy olyphant is so good in everything he's in. Especially justified
And that immaculate hair lol
And Deadwood! He was my crush when I was 14 and watched that show.
@@laerry1 the Weequay tending bar was also in Deadwood
Deadwood is one off the best shows out there sadly no one reacts to it
Baby Yoda is so cuuute I can't! The way his ears flop around when he's on the speeder bike. Disney knows exactly what they're doing to us lol
I thought I saw his ear bent downward. Reminded me of Yoda's ear in ROTJ.
I love how Cob Vanth's speeder bike seems to be Anakin's engine from his pod racer from "The Phantom Menace". And another thing if you look when Mando enters Mos Pel, the houses are all built on stilts above the sand because of the krayt dragon. Amazing details.🤓
@You think you funny ?????????? Maybe. But considering that it was decades since Anakin used it in "The Phantom Menace", and considering how many people must have made use of it since then... it could easily have gotten another paint job. Especially if it was repurposed for a speeder. Even if it isn't, it's at least a nice call back.
@You think you funny ?????????? Because paint just doesn't exist in this universe, huh?
My favorite moment where Steven did the quote, "Single File to hide their numbers" and Nikki rolled her eyes.
The skeleton of a krayt dragon was in Episode IV, It's When C3PO is Walking Across The Desert By Himself.
I popped so hard for the krayt dragon...!!! Knights of the old republic nostalgia to the max 😍😍😍😍
But the Kraytdragon in KOTOR doe not look similar with this one. But it was awesome.
@@kimflyvholmkjaer5969 The one in KOTOR was a 'lessar Dragon'. The one here is meant to look like the skeleton in ANH. But I agree, its awesome :)
Right? I've been dreaming about seeing a live action Krayt Dragon for literally decades, and they did NOT disappoint. So very VERY awesome.
@@kimflyvholmkjaer5969 the dragon was created by KOTOR. This is just an evolution of it
There’s two subspecies of Krayt Dragons, the one we’re more familiar with is the Canyon Krayt Dragon from KotoR, the one here from the Mando show is called the Greater Krayt Dragon.
I love that you can see the damage from when R5 blew his bad motivator. It's that attention to detail that lets us fans know that they care. Loved the episode and love Nikki and Steve.
And the fact that the Mando hit Cobbs (Bobas) jetpack with the gun and made him fly off just like Han did the same jetpack in Return of the Jedi
@Rick Mathews 1498 When Uncle Owen in the first Star Wars movie buys the red droid from the Jawas, and it blows up on it's way to him. That's when they settle for R2D2
@Rick Mathews 1498 yup same one
@Rick Mathews 1498 In the first Movie Rick.... Yes there may have been more than one R5, but as a kid I watched that movie so many times that my mum and dad had to buy a new VHS after it snapped hahahaha... It's totally R5 from a new hope
@Rick Mathews 1498 Right before it projects the map of Tatooine, you can see the scorch marks where the motivator blew out back in ANH - so it's either the same one, or R5s tend to have bad motivators. ;)
Love how Steven remembered the line about sand people traveling in single file to hide their numbers!
You know it's special when you guys dress up.... let's GO!
Yessssss! Happy Halloween and Happy Mandalorian season 2!
Very deep Easter Egg, the Weequay barkeep was played by W. Earl Brown who stared with Timothy Olyphant on Deadwood... which is a show you should watch if you like The Madalorian
"The Sandpeople are people too." Unless they run into Anakin Skywalker. Then they become Bantha poodoo. Best. Leo.
The Marshal's speeder was made from Anakin's pod racer... you can totally hear the same engine noises!!
Anakins was blue. Still fun Easter egg to pod racing though.
@@thepoiuyt98 the part he sat in was blue, the engines were yellow
@15:19
That’s the look of a wife saying “Yes he’s a dork but he’s my dork.”
Krayt Dragons have actually been in the lore. I remember fighting one in one of the old Lucasarts games. Love how they brought it into play here. Super dope episode. And I'm with ya on the Boba chills.
My first thought about the green gunk was "is that literally *acid* reflux?" lol
@You think you funny ?????????? You gotta love how Star Wars is considered a family-friendly story and yet continually throws in absolutely horrific ways to die. The amputations and bisections, countless people eaten alive by monsters, disintegrations, annihilation by (frequent) planet-wide holocausts, and now add being dissolved alive by bio-acid. Sweet.
No blood no foul!
fun facts:
9:20 that R5D4 unit is the one the jawas try to sell to Luke in ep4 before r2d2
The Marshal, Timothy Olyphant cant seen to get away from cowboy roles, say Raylan Givens in justified and the one in Once upon a time in Hollywood, Deadwood, Fargo etc.
12:49 that "bike" is actually one of the engines from Anakin's podracer from ep1
21:55 yes thats Boba freaking Fett ... you can see the marks of the Sarlacc digestion process on him.
nikki’s reaction to timothy taking the helmet off was ME 😭😭
ALSO: timothys speeder bike is made from one of the pod racers engines from phantom
LOVE the fact they wrote Timothy basically play his deadwood character. The accent and bullet rounds and western vibe. hope he comes back
Raylan Givens
@@Cronus111 have you seen deadwood? he's a western marshal in historic wild west -- it's his iconic role, that Hollywood raves over. That scene was literally out of the show. Timothy then got the justified job, where he played a southern-ish version, but in modern times. He's known for both, hence Jon leaning in on Tim's persona.
In the expanded universe books Boba shot his way out and was spat back out naked in the sand. Dengar found him and nursed him back to health. Boba had backup armour that he then used
Yep. The Sarlacc takes a long time to digest its prey and they are usually still alive inside its belly. Considering that Darth Maul survived being cut in half (and was made into a much more interesting character when they brought him back for the Clone Wars), I don't know why Steven is so against a Boba return, or why he thinks it's highly unlikely he could still be alive. The guy didn't get much screen time in the movies, but the old expanded universe fleshed him out into a total badass.
@@Rocket1377 I think Steven's point was that Boba Fett's Beskar only covered parts of his body and so the Sarlaac's digestive system would have certainly burned into Boba's many unprotected parts. Of course it all depends on how long Fett was in the Sarlaac's stomach and how effective the digestive acid is over that period of time.
Also, if you were wondering...The scene with the ppl watching the death star blow up, there's some writing on the holo-screen, the writing translates to the opening crawl from Return of the Jedi...😁
Regarding the mention of canon saying boba made it out. Actually it was just his armor which was being worn by another character. And he showed up in this episode! I'm so glad we finally got a book character in live action
That bigger speeder bike is actually an engine from Anakin Skywalkers Podracer from episode 1 (movie). It seems that this Marshal adjusted it and turned the engine into a speeder bike. This episode was filled to the brim with small details like these! So glad this show is back! Also great costumes guys! :)
The Krayt Dragon in this episode is one of two subspecies: there's the smaller and more common Canyon Krayt Dragon, and then there's this one, which is the larger and much rarer Greater Krayt Dragon.
Tusken Raiders must go through a rite of passage into adulthood by killing a Krayt Dragon and taking the pearl from it's stomach as proof, which is also a symbol of status (I think). Most often it's a Canyon Krayt Dragon that has to be slain, and it's mostly the men of the tribes that have to go through the tradition into adulthood, but apparently there has at least one female exception that slew a Krayt Dragon because she was more independent than the rest in her tribe.
"I don't want Boba Fett to come back"

Alot of people feared adding boba fett would overshadow mando.
Steven, you had the same reaction as me.... I was happy for Boba to stay dead, but damn if I didn't jump out my seat at that last shot.
I honestly think the kid was digging the Gamorian WWE match at the beginning. My theory is that Boba was injured and had to remove his armor so his wounds could be treated and whoever treated his wounds stole and sold his armor.
An interesting detail about Cobb Vanth's "speeder" is that the engine is one of the engine's from 9 year old Anakin Skywalker's pod racer from nearly 40 years prior.
14:54 The Child that Nikki's holding, seems to be looking at Steven the way The Child in the show looks at Mando. lol

*Edited:* Came back, because I forgot to say...GREAT Costumes.
Not sure if you realized that the Krait Dragon is the same animal we saw the bones when C3P0 & R2 land in the desert at the beginning of New Hope...Just much bigger!
They explain how jawas/vanth got the armor in an interlude in one of chuck wendigs aftermath trilogies! How boba escaped the pit and pawned his gear.
I love all the callbacks this episode! Especially R5, Anakin’s podracer (his engines were yellow), obviously Boba. My Star Wars heart is loving all of it ❤️
I recommend everybody to get hold of the 3-book series "The Bounty Hunter Wars". Perfect Aftermath for Boba Fett!
You can kind of put it together with the information they gave you in the episode. The sarlacc pit that is now empty that was eaten by the krayt Dragon? It was on Tatooine? Obviously, the sarlacc that ate Boba Fett in Return of the Jedi was the same sarlacc out that is empty that was eaten by the krayt Dragon. Boba Fett somehow caused the krayt dragon, after the sarlacc disintegrated in the dragon's stomach, because he was still wearing the armor, was able to cause the krayt dragon to spit him up and then the jawas found him in the desert and he either willingly gave up his armor in exchange for his life or it was taken away from him by the Jawas which then led into what happened in this episode.
Loved this expisode but I know I’m in the minority with everyone wanting Boba and Ashoka but I really want more Cara Dune.
Now that I know the one eyed monster at the fighting ring was John Leguizamo I can hear it in the voice
"Many Tuskens died to bring us this victory." - Mon Mothma Best. Leo.
Yay! So happy to be back. You guys have been watching stuff that I don't have a lot of interest in lately (its all good, man!) so I was excited to see this hit my feed today, as I literally JUST got done watching the new episode. Looking forward to going on this journey with you guys!
the speeder the Marshal was riding was Anakin's Pod racing part. Also that was the Fett himself at the end.
yay ! Nikki & Steven and the child is back!!
I thought it was awesome that The Marshall is riding Anakin’s Pod engine from Episode I
Oh my gawd I thought it looked familiar!
Yup, immediately recognized the engine design and FREAKED OUT. Was so cool seeing it again in modern day CGI, even if it’s just one turbine
Damn! Love the callbacks.
The Sarlak was eaten by the dragon monster not too long (possibly only a couple of days) after it ate Boba in Episode 6. Boba was able to escape during that. He was still alive because the Sarlak takes a long time to digest anything.
The best Mandalorian Season 2 Chapter 9 reaction I've seen.👍
It seems like the Dragon 🐉 ate the Sarlacc and took over it's cave pit. Maybe that's how Boba escaped in addition to the strength of the Baskar. It looks like the lower half of Boba armor is missing???
Fun fact: The speeder was one half of (or looks like)Anakin's pod racer?
Can't wait for next Chapter.. Stay safe😷😷
Climbing out of the Sarlacc Pit was part of the Twin Engines of Destruction (Jodo Kast vs Boba Fett) storyline. They also did it in Robot Chicken.
The show explained in a roundabout way what happened. Fett was stuck in the pit "slowly digesting over a 1000 years" but the Krayt dragon saved him (and the others) when it ate the Sarlacc and took over it's home. Perhaps Fett lost the armor trying to escape from the Krayt dragon or while stuck in the Sarlacc Pit. The Jawas found it and picked it up.
I'll be repeating things, I'm sure... but here's what I noticed:
1) R5-D4 is the actual R5-D4 from Star Wars, he even has scorch marks from where he blew the motivator.
2) The Sherriff was flying in a modified pod from a pod-racer.
3) They made the noise that Ben made to scare off the Tuskins to save Luke.
4) The JET PACK MISSILE! On the toy and we never saw Boba use it... the original toy could shoot the missile.
5) We saw the same skeleton in the deserts in Star Wars.
6) The PEARL!
7) You bet your ass that was Boba Fett's actor! It would seem he would be Boba because if he was a clone, he'd be Rex's age (as shown in Rebels... only older)
So much fun to see you two reacting to one of my favorite shows!
Absolutely loved how U guys opened the The Mandalorian season 2 😂 hilariously laughing 🤣 you Nikki and Steven are 1 of a kind plus been waiting looking forward 2 seeing the new episode of The Mandalorian season 2 that sand creature was awesome & May The Force Be With You All
when Timothy Olyphant takes off the Helmet I asked myself "is he going to be a "Justified" meets "Star Wars" type character". Yup , he is.
So glad to be back with you guys! I haven’t watched any other of the shows you’ve been watching, since Walking Dead and the first couple seasons of Saul. Sweet costumes. See ya next week!
Boba’s reveal was like baby yoda’s reveal at the end of episode 1. A shocker to make you want the rest of the season noowww!!!! 😁 so smart
loved the aspect ratio change during the final battle. made it feel so much bigger
All the references I've caught:
- That R5 in the space port was the same R5 in Episode 4 with a bad motivator that blew up, you can see the damage on it
- Boba's armour even has that round on the helmet and a patched up part on the jetpack, it also is easy to set off like in Return of the Jedi
- Cobb Vanth? was driving a re-purposed pod racer engine, it actually looks a lot like Anakin's pod racer's engine but flipped upside down
- Krayt Dragons and vulnerable bellies are from Knights of the Old Republic 1 and from other sources in Legends, but great call back to it
- Kinda easy to miss, but that Krayt got big because it ate the sarlacc that was in that pit/cave. So maybe that's how Boba got out, and how it got so big.
So glad you are covering this!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
That was 100% Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett at the end.
I hope we'll see a lot more of Timothy Olyphant { Santa Clarita Diet } as Cobb Vanth.
John Leguizamo was the voice of Gor Koresh for those wondering.
The Speeder Bike that the marshall is driving looks suspiciously similar to either Sebulba's or Anikans pod racer from Episode 1. Sebulba's pod racer was in pieces in Tatooine the last we saw it, something the Jawa's would seem to patchwork back to something that was serviceable, even if only half the pod racer was salvageable.
Steven I had the same reaction WAS THAT BOBA?!?!?!?! Also Loved that Timothy Oliphant was in it playing a Marshal when He played on on Justified lol. SO glad you got this up so soon :D Cheers
Such a fantastic season premiere! I was a bit worried at first with the Timothy Olyphant character wearing the Boba Fett armor because I obviously wanted to see Boba Fett at first, but I really like the story of a random guy who took up this armor to protect his town from evil. And obviously we got to see the real Boba Fett in the end and I really like that he has been on Tatooine this entire time living like Obi-Wan, but living without a purpose after the empire has fallen.
@Rick Mathews 1498 did you even watch the video
@Rick Mathews 1498 yeah the lack of eyebrows did make him look pretty different
I dont know what i love the most, the Marshal or Nikki's Baby Yoda 😍 please tell where to buy it (even if i live in Mexico) thanks for the reaction guys i love yours from first season.
Just in case no-one else has mentioned it - Cobb Vanth was first introduced in the Aftermath series. I cant put a link here but you'll find more about him on the star wars fandom wiki page on Cobb Vanth :)
Cobb Vanth (the Marshall) is a character from the Star Wars Aftermath novels written by Chuck Wendig. There were a few interludes in the books about his story and it’s basically identical to what is presented in this show, how he got the armor and became the Marshall of the town. Great books I highly recommend them. And yes that is Bobba Fett....well it’s about 99% probability. There is a remote chance it could be another clone, since Fett was the model for all the clones. It’s unlikely however since they age at a much faster rate than non clones. I do think Rex will appears this season, but later on, probably episode 5 when it’s also likely Ahsoka Tano will be revealed. I think episode 5 because that’s when Filoni is directing and writing. If you think people went crazy when Fett showed up, wait till Ahsoka comes to life, Star Wars fans will absolutely lose their minds! You will hear it around the world. Great episode...would like to see a bit more of Baby Yoda interaction than just looking adorable....let’s see some more force powers!
P.S. Glad to see the pulse rifle has returned. It disappeared for a while last season. I guess disintegrating Moff Gideon would have been to convenient 🤓.
I love the way Baby Yoda looks at Steven. 😂
I love the world building in this series ...seeing the interaction with the Sand people was great.
I don't think it needs to much explanation. This show is a masterpiece because it explains stuff indirectly. You have mando inside a stomach with a acid coming out alive (establishes that beskar armor protect against acid), the cave the dragon lives is from a sarlac (stablishes that there are monsters that can kill a sarlac, indeed, here are one that killed one). Just connect the pieces
6:53 Baby Yoda, on the couch, staring at the camera....
Glad you guys are reacting to this as it’s my favorite show right now ! This episode is actually one of my favorites so far and I hope we see the Marshal again cause I love his character already. Not sure how I feel about Boba coming back but we will see where the story takes us.
I love your reactions! I’ve waiting all year for this and I am NOT disappointed!
Hell of a start to season 2!!! Btw, I heard an interesting theory that Baby Yoda is actually the Mandalorian in the show's title. He's a Mandalorian foundling now, if he gets some training he could be the first force-sensitive mando since the first Mandalorian. Just a theory, but an interesting one imo...😁
Not the first Mandalorian, but the first Mandalorian jedi. I get what you meant though
@@radioactivetaco9579 yeah, I worded that a bit oddly, but you get it. 😏😁
22:04 yes it is boba
I think the general idea is that acidic digestive juices don't affect the beskar armor (as seen when Mando is covered with it), hence Boba's survival. Not sure how he got out of the Sarlacc, but I assume it just coughs up crap it can't digest.
Love the costumes! I'm glad my favorite reactioners took this awesome episode up today :)
Yup, it was Boba. In the Legends/EU, Boba survived by eventually igniting his jetpack fuel, which made the Sarlacc throw him up(remember the Sarlaccs take an extremely long time to digest someone.)
The big ball-things the Sandpeople cut out of the dragon are Krayt pearls that grow in a krayt Dragons lungs and are extremely valuable due to their rareity
Boba fett was disguised as a Tusken Raider. He was the lone scout who had his ear to the ground listening to the sound vibrations of the Krayt Dragon. These ferocious creatures feed off the equally as deadly sarlacc pit monsters. Therefore, Boba Fett was probably spit out while the Krayt Dragon was actively digesting the Sarlacc monster. He was rescued by the Tusken Raiders and quickly simulated into their culture. Thus being the renowned bounty hunter with Mandalorian armor was no longer important Boba Fett; all his connections to his old life died, when Jabba the Hutt's Empire was completely destroyed by Luke, Leia and company when they journeyed to Tatooine to rescue Han from Jabba's Palace. Perhaps when Boba Fett offical meets Mando he will recover his helmet and armor by becoming a true Mandalorian through. a series tests that involve his knowledge of the Mandalorian creed. Upon returning to Mandalore. The warrior creed of the Tusken Raiders maybe similar to that of the Mandalorians. Surviving the Sarlacc pit would be his new signet branded on his newly refurbished armor. Maybe we will learn that Jango Fett's armor that later become Boba's armor originally came from a disgraced Fett family member. In addition It would be interesting to learn if Darth Vader had actually given the order to have Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru to be killed through disintegration. Perhaps through the power of the Sith Emperor Palpatine manipulated Boba Fett's mind without the use of an inhibitor chip. In the recent Marvel Star Wars comics we are told same story premise that Boba Fett was responsible for the death of the Lars through disintegration at their home while Ben Kenobi, Luke & droids were meeting with Han Solo and Chewbacca at Mos Eisley Spaceport. That ionic scene in the Empire Strikes Back where Darth Vader is addressing all of the bounty hunters on the deck of his star destroyer the Executor about the capture and arrest of Luke Skywalker by any means necessary. But briefly turns his head towards Boba Fett when he was talking about no death through disintegration. Perhaps there was a glimmer of the old Anakin at that moment when he made that statement. It would a great scene on the Mandalorian if after all of these years that Luke was able to confront Boba Fett directly about his involvement in the deaths of Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. In the meantime, as Star Wars fans we will just have to tune into the future episodes of the Mandalorian to see what eventually happens. Who knows these theories might be properly addressed and become actual Star Wars cannon sometime in the near future.
I loved the western homage of Mando the lone stranger slowly riding into town with all the townsfolk watching intently. FYI, one of those townsfolk was a cameo by Sam Witner.
What a way for Mando to start season 2, like a Mustang Thoroughbred out of the gate; in place position of the series at the moment behind Chapter 7 and ahead of Chapter 6 in the show spot.
Awesome episode! I was decked out in my mandalorian shirt and the child pajamas
In the original Star Wars, Ben Kenobi makes a sound of a Kryat Dragon to scare off the Sand People and save Luke. :) Also, that thing the Sand People find inside the dragons body at the end is a Dragon Pearl. They've been referenced in previous Star Wars video games. LOL.
THANK YOU NIKKI AND STEVEN FOR RECOGNIZING IT WAS BOBA FETT!!!! Unlike other users who didn’t recognize him even though they saw the movies
I swear the dude that punched Mando in the face is the same type of person who would punch Superman if shooting doesn’t work🤦🏽♂️
Timothy Olyphant sitting down having a drink in a bar reminded me of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Steven first season: I don’t want boba back
Steven second season: GIVE ME ALL THE ANSWERS TO BOBA FETT
Haha love y’all and the reactions. Makes rewatching so much fun. You’re the best!
I just finished your season one videos of the Mandalorian. Why so late you ask... well. I live in Norway and we got Disney+ September 15th... just over a month ago. So now I can finally watch season two with you.
Same... But I just got it a week ago... Have not slept much xD
They laid the tracks to Boba’s story, they mentioned the krayts take over a sarlacc nest after killing them, then they showed mando surviving stomach acid in his armour within the krayt, proving boba could do similar, Especially in a sarlacc which apparently takes a 1000 years to digest its victims suggesting you likely starve to death so boba could of lasted weeks without food within the sarlacc plus some mando armour is meant to have life support systems and even some have urine recycling,
My gap filling is that boba was found by Jawas unconscious or comatose, they dropped him at a settlement or with a sand people tribe and stole his armour as “payment” either that or boba willingly parted with it, which I doubt.
the other theory is that he had to discard his armour to escape and after the krayt killed the sarlacc, jawas found the armour.
