@@Validifyed dispite not knowing, you are exactly god damn right, the devision promised the extraction shooter concept as part of an open world, arguably more interesting and ambitious than current instances. The problem is that it was ubisoft so it was fundamentally broken, especially with such gear based disparities
@@cameronhumphreys4213 It really wasn’t the same thing anyways, the only risk was losing what you found in the zone. You couldn’t lose what you brought in iirc (at least in the Division 2).
DMZ does it miles better. I just wish extraction shooters would learn how to make real progression outside of quests.
I haven't seen many people talk about Vigor. That was my exposure to extraction shooters.

Well it is kinda bizarre for me to realize that we have experienced sequences of "D left Node", "D returned to Node" and "D is the only one in Node". This is sad man.

I was average/below average at DMZ for months. Built a computer, played tarkov for 2 weeks only. Came back to dmz and was wrecking dudes. Your forced to be so much more aware in tarkov. And the casual DMZ player just aint prepared for it.
Now if only they'd fix all the bugs in this game now that we're almost to season 3. The UI screws up all the time and forces you to redo missions, and you lose all your shit to crashes and bugs every few games. The UI and menus' coding is broken but of course the store always works and is always stocked with new merchandise! AAA indeed

Yeah it’s a fun mechanic. If you are feeling kind you can revive a downed team and have them join you.

I played DMZ for a while, but after two disconnects reset my progress in a single day I deleted the game. I wonder if they've fixed the servers.
Freddie has had this issue but I’ve never once disconnected. Not sure what causes it but it seems to be a system issue.

Why I temporarily quit DMZ for Ghost of Tabor VR! It got bugs but that shit is soooooooooooooooooo fun bugs and all. Its early access so I can't imagine what the future will bring. DMZ I know alot going on in the backend so I have no idea why they didn't test the stability early on with all the stuff that they already had in an early build. Since I'm small time no one was gonna listen to me anyways. When the build I seen is released then that's when I'm coming back to DMZ!

Tarkov is absolutely infested with cheaters, it’s not worth playing anymore. COD definitely has them but generally it’s not nearly as bad.

DMZ has a huge lack of content compared to Tarkov, but it works most of the time.
But after putting 1000 hours into Tarkov and a good 50 hours of DMZ, I have to say that DMZ has a huge lack of a strong sense of progression.
i do agree but apperantly the next season will bring a lot to dmz :P
It definitely does have issues with progression, also the 6 man squads are beyond overpowered and there is no counter-play to it. Lots of fun to be had especially doing some of the later more challenging missions, but let’s just hope they add meaningful progression next season.
DMZ is still in beta, but even still it’s foundation and focus on fun over pain is a breath of fresh air when it comes to extraction shooters.
@@Node yes I agree with you about the fun over pain but I personally find DMZ fun but only with friends.
There is no point in grinding the quests or just playing raids unless you’re leveling up guns.
The last time I played Tarkov , I lasted 30 seconds max. I've had it at least 4 years but could never put in the time needed to git gud
It’s not really about “getting good”, it’s more about getting gear and constantly loading in a squad of 3 with overpowered armor and guns. The game leaves very little opportunity to “get good” when those are the type of borderline invincible players you get stacked against.

Sam and Niko work for corridor digital. That's their dev company pretty sure, they usually have videos about games they are working on, at least they used to. Theyre usually PC games so I unsubscribed cuz it didn't really interest me.
When node was subsumed into the corridor crew (and d left sorta) it was because of losing money from the channel. It got assumedly worse as people missed d and the node channel, so corridor gave the channel back to d, so D has almost full ownership. This gives him the freedom to do what he wants with the channel he has basically ran anyway for about 10 yrs, and take it his own direction. With D and his non corridor friends, he can most likely sustain himself by node and his own channel, Cerberusarms. I don't think it isn't because they fell out and split in a bad way, and I'm pretty sure I could hear Niko in one of the clips. It's just now Sam and Niko, and corridor have to spend more time on their own channel and can't afford lose time and money running node as well. I think that's accurate - any corrections please give.
Also sorry I stole the name Cerberusarms on pubg mobile years ago D if you see this, that was dumb.
@@SaintzAirsoft I think you're talking about Brandon and Stress Level Zero. He's the one with SLZ doing game development. Sam and Niko are mostly busy doing their own stuff at CD.

I did but decided not to mention it in the video since that could be fixed. Also cod has hackers from time to time but not on the scale that Tarkov does.
Tarkov needs a perma stash for armor and guns.
They have a stash for guns but it would be cool to hang onto extra killstreaks and armor.

I was playing Tarkov back when it was just the Factory map in early alpha before you even knew the game existed. I play games to have fun, not evaluate my self worth based on how much grinding I do.

Actually hunt showdown invited the extraction genre and its still the only one that's worth playing
Hunt: Showdown was released in 2018 and the Tarkov Beta was released in 2017. The Tarkov development also started 2 years before the start of development for Hunt
I disagree. Hunt Showdown may have been one of the firsts, but Tarkov really impacted and helped to popularize the genre. Plus there are numerous good extraction shooter options now. I’d say Hunt is one of the best, but the others are worth playing as well.
