I went to Kemijarvi and Rovaniemi when I was as a student in Tampere. It was in November 2000, i love Finland and Lapland is just wonderful. I still remember night sky in Lapland.., sauna, pure nature, lake and cabin by the lake... we did a day trek there. I haven't been there since then unfortunately... but i recommend to anybody. in Whole Scandinavia there is wonderful, clean nature.

Company have a CEO ( how strange ... ) but he problably golf or sleep to much or just like to do the way they act on the company, Vikingur type. Maybe it is the Icelandic way to do the things. ..... The name is Jón Þór Gunnarsson . Running a company with customers at the door asking for services is one thing, but when things get bad there, you need special management qualities and skills to counter the bad results. It is at these times that the difference between good management skills and crap is noticeable.

Aw the reindeer look so cute! I'm glad that the saami are keeping their traditions alive; it's interesting to see the contrast of new versus old as well. So often we hear that new overtakes old, but oftentimes it doesn't have to only be that way.

Great video and great channel! I love traveling and your videos are so well produced and so entertaining. I've been to Scandinavia in 2013 and I loved it but unfortunately I didn't go further north from the capitals. I had a great time in Helsinki and Turku though and I would love to travel back to Finland and explore its countryside and the Lapland region :) Greetings from Brazil

vagabrothers Well Brussels is a must ! Then I think you have to visit other cities to discover belgian history and beautiful places that tourist don't always see. Also it's best to go both north and south (Flanders and Wallonia) to feel the different ambiances and meet different people, discover different point of vue,... And if you like outdoors activities, hiking, biking,... you need to go to the Ardennes.
Going up there (Ivalo and Inari) in about 2 weeks from now to see my sisters and grandparents and couple of cousins. My grandparents are Inari Sami people and they have lots and lots of reindeers. =) I like Lapland, it's so freakin' quiet up there that you can hear the emptiness of your thick skull.. =D Oh man, smoked salmon is the best! Did you get to taste reindeer meat, that is awesome too, can't wait to get to eat my grandmothers cookings.. =)
Very nice videos and good job finding your way up to Lapland too. You seem to have been in Inari and Lemmenjoki area at the same time I was. Too bad I didn't run into you guys, could have taken you gold prospecting. :)
vagabrothers It was. :) It's hard work but the freedom of it and the scenery around you makes it feel less like work and more like an adventure. Not to mention that all that manual labor of digging and hiking combined with the clean air and water made me feel awesome compared to my normal citylife. I try to spend a week or two in Lapland every summer so if you end up coming back the regular goldminers I visited seem to be very happy to welcome guests as their community is very small and far away from everything. Some of them might not speak any english but as long as you come with a bottle or two things will work out. :)
Watching you guys made me want to travel before i go to university next summer, so i sold my car to help to fund it. You guys got any suggestions on where woukd.be good to go? I was thinking about new zealand or Canada, whats your thoughts??

you have to come visit GERMANY! Freiburg, Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin.. there is a huge range to discover! It's beautiful, exciting and u can drive on the motorway as much as u like, no limits! come over!

No, I didn't visit Lapland (I wish that I had, thou). :D A friend of mine went hiking around Ylläs (I think) and went to Saariselkä from there. :)
