- The first adventure of 2022 and what a great way to kick things off!
Grab a blanket, make yourself a hot drink and settle down for some chilly adventures.

Heading to Finland in winter is becoming a bit of an annual pilgrimage, kickstarting a year of adventure with freezing temperatures, snow loaded trees and hopefully a glimpse of the magical aurora.
After missing out on the experience in 2021, the plan was to make the most of this trip ticking off a couple of things from the bucket list and try to experience as much as we could of the landscape and environment.
In this first part of our trip we hike to an exposed hut at Rukatunturi, discover the beautiful huts, waterfalls and forests of Oulanka National Park, and head out for a icy camp amongst the snow loaded trees of Riisitunturi National Park.
