  • We stay at Santa Claus Holiday Village and make the nearby Santa Claus Village my playground. We have so much fun there going for the reindeer sleigh ride, husky ride, play at the animal farmyard and meet Sata Claus himself. Enjoy the colourful night light of the village. I also share with you how to go to Rovaniemi Train Station from here.

Hi there! Fellow Singaporean here! Planning to go Lapland and I’m just wondering where do you buy your snow essentials? Thinking about Decathlon but not sure how good they are.

Hey. I'm Finn. Fashion doesn't matter, IN COLD! Dressing in layers, underwear, intermediate layer and loose outerwear with a hood will do well. Warm big shoes, so that thick woolen socks can still fit over normal socks. Big Mittens, no gloves. Beanie or fur cap.
Some full-service centers offer, as part of the price, a full coverall suitable for Arctic conditions and shoes to put on. Sledge safaris dress their customers in those clothes. On top of your own clothes. 🙂
In the middle of winter in Lapland, the temperature is -10 to -50 Celsius.
You CAN find a lot of winter clothes in department stores in Lapland. You CAN't enjoy Lapland's wonderland if you're cold. It's horrible!

Rovaniemi's Santa Claus live camera shows how people dress, well or not so well.

This is the place where you can enjoy the most in winter, when snow days make the place like fairyland. If no snow, I would find the place very empty and lifeless.

@@bohzalah In Lapland's wonderland there are many summer activities in the open nature. Many people can be found in the southern Sami region, Helsinki.
