It's my brother from another continent! Do you have ground with mineral rights or do you have to give everything back to the King? I see you have the Caledonian Super Pump - Secret Gold Hunter from Scotland sent me one. Love that thing.
Alright mate the super pumps are beasts expecially the crevice ones also easy to maintain, soo hear in the uk all the gold we find belongs to the royals apart from a few certain areas where you can buy a prospecting license they are very responsible prices arround £60 for the year but unfortunately for me that's the other end off the country so I head up there a few times a year
@@Englishprospector one of my channel members from scotland has permission from a property owner that maintained their mineral rights hundreds of years ago. He said it was pretty rare.
@goldiswhereyoufindit yeah it is now days there is a vary famous place in wales on the gold belt that was bought by a gold mine but the couldn't obtain the rights to mine it there is more behind it but long story short it's been sat the empty for years they have now even banned gold prospecting on there too,
@goldiswhereyoufindit hahaha I know what you mean its very touching and go hear in the uk we have very strict rules that some people don't stick too i.e only hand equipment no power so no highbankers dredges or even gravity dredges ect also no digging banks or brakeing bedrock ect
@@Englishprospector Hopefully Devon and maybe Cornwall again when it warms up a bit. I've got Scotland booked for June, which will be great - can't wait!! :o)
Mare just go for it there's not much gold on the east coast but if you don't mind weekends away there's plenty off places I would recommend lea Palmers book gold occurrences in and arround the uk
Sorry totally new to this so may sound abit stupid to you that know... Is it possible to find gold around the coast / estuary where is very salty or is this a no go? Asking as near to where we live alot of the cliffs are crumbling I've thought of fossils and do often find them but never gold so just wondering is it worth keeping eyes peeled 😅

@@Englishprospector I like your answer, but I dislike that you can't prospect there so I don't know which button to smash lol

Rob well done Great video keep up the good work !!!
Reason is the top priority when searching for gold.
But unfortunately there are also black sheep among us. Until it is banned ⚒👍🤠
Absolutely agree educating is the way forward
Cheers mate
Would love to get started! located in Norfolk however, where would be a good place to start?

I've been watching golf prospecting videos for years I'm from South West England? Where can I prospect and do I need a license?
Unfortunately I don't name any locations for reasons as the hobbie gets trashed but my recommendation is to buy the book in the link from lea palmer

@NKL_FISHING it's always worth keeping eyes peeled on the beach you want to look for black sands also signs off old river beds
