Great stuff guys, When you are new to it, this is the best bit about gold panning for me. I dug holes for hours and hours and couldn't find a sausage but when you see that first spec it is a game changer. Cracking location too.
MrDaz will help you greatly watching his videos, keep up the hunt that first speck you will remember for the rest of your life, I m a american gold miner in the Dominican Republic
You all prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a method to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any tips you can offer me.
Great video tomcats.. have been watching all the gold prospectors on tv during covid 19 lockdown...i cant make a video as good as yours, but i am having a go at it SOON maybe spring or summer this year, dont think i am gonna get rich..but ambition is just ONE flake ONE morsel of gold..was asolutely gutted u didnt get any luck..happy new year dudes
Was it not lead in the first pan ? Time to watch the rest :) Did google on the lined pebble and its Particles that get trapped with in the small cracks over time some can be algae and some gems quite interesting really
Hey guys by the look of your video, looks like y'all are new at this. I wanna give you a tip, get on RUclips and look for a man named Freddy Dodge, he has video that will teach you and show you how to pan for gold.. Telling you he helped (his videos) me out tremendously. Best of luck, hope you find your Mother Lode
Hi guys enjoyed the video, you need to classify your dirt more, preferably down to 5mm mesh. I'm from the northeast and have been prospecting for 12yrs and I design and make gold prospecting equipment. There are a couple of places in our area that does produce very fine gold. Good luck
Dnt no if u have read my messages. But I have just brought panning kits and a sluice box and other tools but still waiting to get the chance to meet someone who is into the same interest. If anyone has the same problem. Then would love to hear from you. Thanks.
Great video fellas. Nice to see the area, as well as looking at the dirt. Well done. I see you're using your kit right out of the box, have you seasoned your pan? You have to remove the casting oils so the tiny specks don't slip away. Here's how to season a pan. ruclips.net/video/Pp3swkWWU2k/видео.html And here's a good panning method, ruclips.net/video/Hfn-rD_yxN4/видео.html I would say it's better to pan two handed to start. And forget about swirling the pan, you'll just push your gold back into the rest of it and have to start again. All the best.
Great to see you giving panning a go! Don't give up, as there is gold out there. I know that MrDazP1 finds gold up in the NW of England. Edit: Just seen the comment below mine is from @MrDazP1 so you are aware!
Hello Kieron, I just noticed this comment and thanks for posting. I have watched some of your videos before all this RUclips stuff became so popular. You have had some fantastic views on your videos. Hope you are well.
Did some prospecting in Wales. As it was freezing I bagged up the paydirt and panned at home, found about 19 pieces in 2 bags. If you can drive a couple of hours, narrow rivers around snowdon are a good bet. Also. Dig till you can't dig anymore, hit bedrock. All rivers and natural streams contain gold to some degree, mainly micro gold which is really difficult to pan. And you need to look at the colour of the river, iron is a good indication of where to look and will have a red tinge to the rocks that you dig, find that and your instantly increasing you chance of finding gold. And also watch Parker Schnables guide to panning, no offence but your technique sucks lol
the next time you go to a gravel bar/pebble beach, try doing a test trench using pans across the width. this will help you locate the best paystreak, which should extend down the entire bar. gold luck to you :)
The best way to get around the problem of digging anywhere is always contact the local council first and always do reclamation... fill those holes guys 🤣🤣
Thank you for your clip. I am based in the NE as well and been researching, should be getting to do my first digging/panning soon

The silver thing looks like actual silver with its host rock worn away, that or melted aluminium, is it heavy for its size?
Its a tough one isnt it mate its very light
Crusader Dan my guess is aluminium. Get down to Wales, plenty to be found.
Hey guys. Great fun..you need to slow down the flow and flatten out the water over your sluice. Keep it nice n flat..
Dig deeper...
Good hunting.
Great vid matey wot sluice u using matey
I'd say that silver thing is solder maybe.. Because of the shape and colour

Way too much water running through your sluice box, currents too strong, probably lost gold.

Hi, congratulations, I liked the video. Can you tell me how big is the sluce box? Greetings from Ecuador... 🙂🖐🖐🖐
Thank you yes its about 3 feet long if that helps. Greetings from Manchester UK
Excuse me, how wide is it, and What Brand is IT?
If your first hole was a trap for something that heavy and metal it should have been one to open up. If that was in the heavies then what else was
That silver bit will probably be lead. Nice vid

Hi great stuff but need to tune the sleuth
Dig down to the bed rock, that's where it settles.
I know this place!!
Your more likely to find it closer to bedrock
Totally not worth it
