I bet you I can throw a ball further then that! :3
What an idiot lol all I hear is crunching with the massive pitch fork, smashing as he goes no wonder everything is broken lol
why did you stop digging?
Can't find anywhere worth digging mate
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk this was such a good site you had. Did it suddenly run out a year ago, or maybe you had no choice but to leave it \/
@@MrNooneseesme ye bit if both really mate getting moaned at plus more and more people found it haha
🕯So unique...thank you for the tour...
Thank you for your great presentation. We live in a little 250 year old cottage in New Hampshire, USA that we DIY restored for over 20 years salvaging, etc. It is furnished with all English 17thc. antiques that we collected on a budget for years. It has a lot of the feel of this! Really enjoyed your video. We would give anything to be able to move to the UK and to also visit places like this.
Them blood mixtures in the ice blue bring $60 to $100 in Australia 🇦🇺 I not long sold one ☝️
Oh really i wish they did over here, be lucky to get £10 haha
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk I just checked my eBay purchases I paid $46 aussie $$ plus $15 post lol and sold it as a mate annoyed it out of me lol for $90 posted and I didn’t even want to sell it lol 😂
@craigdutton6072 haha I can't believe that I'll keep hold of them in future see if I can get them over to you guys haha at least u made some profit mate 👍
Beautiful tour, thank you so much. Right on my doorstep too. So I'll definitely be visiting. 🙂
If you want to know more about the river Wharfe, here's an entire series about it... ruclips.net/video/ijl9lMhVlHc/видео.html
Get big lew to sand it up Dan and put some lights on it 😂
What Color was it bc if it was red there’s a chance it could be a Mickey Mouse gas mask
Nah its a civilian duty gas mask as in my pfp
It’s an ink bottle spill proof
This river can be fully charted and plumbed. The only thing missing is project funding.
Bobbins these places are on our doorsteps. Top one. Nice one. Get sorted. 😎
I have been in the tunnels & yes there is a wide stone staircase that led up to the cathedral that is bricked off, I was told that originally the river Bank sloped down to the river & when the stone embankment was built they made the tunnels so goods coming up river could be offloaded, there used to be a below ground men's toilet that also led into the tunnels. I entered the tunnels via what was left of steps that riverboat passenger's would have used in the day.
How's it going Dan? Have you been doing any digging?
I picked out a few today when I came across a bottle dump cough syrup ones brylcream marmite 1oz marmite 2oz there is absolutely loads there but i ain’t got a clue what are good ones or not lol
Hi mate its a tough one sometimes even them can be good ones haha do they have a seem going up the lip that's usually a bit later on. Have u got any videos of them mate
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk no video as of yet mate but I will hopefully today I can get back over there
@TheBritishbeeman okay mate no worries let me know when u do I'll have a look at it for u 👍
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk nice one cheers mate 👌🏽
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk yeah there is faint seem lines on the lid
I go metal detecting and come across a few different bottle dump sites but I ain’t got a clue what I’m looking for 🙄 any tips mate please
Rough rule of thumb is the further the seams go up the sides, the newer it is, a seam that stops on or below the neck is older than a seam that goes to the top, then you have different top styles, most of it you can figure out by how crudely made they are compared to modern.
That is a grmen gas mask
no its british
Resent research debunks Royston cave was a Templar initiation chamber , There's No Evidence to support the claim ...There's Not one artifact , Not one Templar , or Masonic symbol has been found among all the carvings in Royston cave that have any connection to the Knights Templars , or the Freemasons ... The symbols of the 'Heart on the hand', the Dove , the Tent , are symbols synonymous with The Order of Oddfellows ... The effigies of 'Saint Catherine and the wheel', Saint Christopher with his walking stick carrying the child on his shoulder, Saint George with his horse and sword, are Venerated Saints of the "14 Holy Helpers" , the Patron Saints invoked for protection against disease and the Plague ... The carved out shape of Royston Cave , is in the shape of an Ancient Middle Eastern Tent , The symbol of the Order of Odd Fellow's most high degree of "Encampment"... The human bones and skull found while removing the soil from the bottom of the cave may have been the remnants of a skeleton used in the Odd Fellow's initiation ritual , artifacts and symbols synonymous with "The Order of Odd Fellows" ... Historians have traced the Oddfellows group back to the Medieval Trade Guilds of the 12th and 13th Centuries. Others estimated that it existed before 1650 ... There is No connection to the Knights Templars or the Freemasons , the symbology connects directly to a group known as the Oddfellows , the Effigies of members of the 14 Holy helpers , venerated Saints invoked to ward off disease and the Plague , the artifacts of human bones & a skull , found in Royston cave are synonymous to one group , "The Order of Oddfellows" Most likely as an Intercession prayer chamber to ward off the plague ...
My grandfather died here
How
I would not give the national trust the steam off my shite
Baguley Hall dates back to early 1400's so this isn't the oldest. Wythenshawe Park Hall I believe was built 1505.
What’s a civilian duty respirator doing underground? Lol. Never seen that before.
I wondered what this place looked like before they turned into sideshow experience that it has become.
Nice finds! I'd recommend (as a non-metal detector myself) to possibly go to the site of the brickworks railway line near orrell (bispham hall). The line is now a public path and I was able to find an old rail spike so i'm sure there'd be more!
That's great mate thank you for the info I need to get back out detecting might have to give that a go. Do you think there's a bottle tip there as well
@@crusaderdanbottledigginguk I'm not too sure but there is a lot of man-made tips and hills where you can find anything.
@@Benji_transport_vids fair enough mate no problem I'll go have a look one day thanks for your advice

The family crest is my family crest, as John pointed out a year ago.
Chetham's library is in buildings that date from 1421, albeit it only became a library in 1653.
I think if you ever plan to take a walk out there with someone, you’d better bring a family member or a friend you really trust to walk along the river, I mean real trust :)
Where do find these dumps in Manchester
