@@prisonlifeboi370 I have or HAD 5. Now 4. Sold 1 of them already for over 4x what I paid for it, so that made my other buses pretty miuch FREE since 1 of these previously purchased buses, I sold some parts for what I paid for it so it was already a FREE bus. So of the 4, 3 of them are good running rust free, well equippped buses. 2 Blue Bird Vision and a Thoma Freightliher is what I have.
Fun fact this is my only favorite of the bluebird visions not just that I love how they look but they have the Cat C7 which is the best diesel engine. While the newer models have a goofy look to them I prefer these to be my favorite models.
I actually managed to make out a phone number on the back of it in one of the cold start videos. Former Eastport-East Northport school district down here on Long Island.
My school district has a bunch of these 1st gens but they all retired in laying in the bus terminal but we have one of them still roaming around and it has a Cat 3126
If I could buy one school bus it would be a 2007 bluebird vision. Specifically one similar to the one I rode in Alabama. A standard handicap. But I loved it. 10 years ago i would have said i wanted to save a amtran. But people love them so much. I would be surprised if someone didn't save one
it sure is!! I've never been on it for a ride but I've been on it for a bus drill 😎 also that's an amazing bus I'm glad u bought it before they retired 46
inCompany I work for still has one of this style in the route fleet used daily but has the cummins 5.9 in it. I am not a fan of blue birds. They wanted to keep me so pulled an international off as a trip bus and now its my bus. In my part of my state school buses dont have an air horn wish they did being in deer country. Also all the buses around this part and only emergency windows on the sides no doors.
@@ThatOneLT1 Oh gotcha. My MicroBird I bought from Ritchie bros was $110 a month for the insurance. I repainted the whole frame and did a ton of extra work to it. I sold it a made a ton of money off of it lol. Was gonna look for an older CE with a DT466 next time at our local bus auction for a new project. Something I can tune the shit out of and make it dump a lot of coal lol
It kinda has that tone but the C7 at the same time sounds very different especially when driving. It’s got a more smooth combustion noise but the DT is more rough and harsh.
Great job on this bus!! Such a great example of one of these early Visions. I'd love to get my hands on one of these someday.
They still around. You just have to find them.
Congratulations, that is a nice bus! I’m feeling the nostalgia for my buses 14-17 lol
I love these old blue birds. Good buy!
i never thought youd buy a vision but im glad you finally did
congrats on your 5th bus
5th?

This bus is in amazing condition. We have one in our lot the paint is faded in around the warning lights on the front is all chipped.
I think there is one is one in Buchanan County VA, not sure.
Great purchase!!! Happy to see that you own a Blue Bird now! In the future you should get a FE bus haha
Awesome video!
Well actually Northport is still operating a 2003 TC2000 FE
I would love to get it and reunite it with 46
@@ThatOneLT1By modern standards it's low on tech but it looks good.
Oop did bro just foreshadowed the next bus
46 was used as a spare and bus drills, I'm surprised it has LED stop sign for being an 04
Its even got a wigwag??? You lucked out on this bus dude, great buy

Nice video dude, congrats getting a bus, I like the sound of the Cat C7
It's rare, because this first gen Blue Bird Vision has a jack knife door.

I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again
stellar purchase
Congratulations!
Where did you get this awesome school busses at and can you do a full video about your school busses just asking my friend
I actually managed to make out a phone number on the back of it in one of the cold start videos. Former Eastport-East Northport school district down here on Long Island.
That’s a keeper.
I never knew a vision could come with one of those doors
I like how it had 2 horns on it

We Know That
Wow Congratulations
We used to have these in Ontario Canada when they were around I’m trying to look for one in Ontario to use as a cargo bus 🚌
This bus looks newer than it really is
2004 Thats Old
I have been on this bus before. I go to Northport. That was a cool bus.
Oh really?
That’s so cool!
Is there anything you remember about this bus?
Do you have any pictures of it?
I used to sit in the way back and listen to the sound of the engine. Very cool sounding engine. No pictures of it though.
can u do a video of u driving it and the camera is like the passenger view??
Eventually I will

Bro finna have more buses then Jrin12 💀
THAT USED TO BE MY DISTRICT!!! NORTHPORT
Oh wow that's amazing!
I hope you got to experience 46, it's truly a spectacular bus!

I didn't know they still made those type of doors.
nice vision
And It's The 1st Gen
Visions don't have a scissor doors
That Vision does
First gens could, as they shared all the same spec options as the 3800’s.
Noice. Also how many buses do you own?
3 currently.
@@ThatOneLT1 noice
Love cats in school buses especially ungovernable transmission and engine
I love this generation of the vision id add a incandescent stop sign but thats just me
What is the ramp used for?
Ramp was the dealership around the NYC area that is now defunct
have you ever seen a 2nd gen CE with emergency doors in the middle of the bus
Yes, they are common around here as it's NY Spec
@@ThatOneLT1 Oh so that means that my county used to buy New York spec buses during the early 2010s thanks
Are you going to sale any of your buses
For the right price lol

I like the school bus a little bit and it’s old and the seat is blue yes or no
Do you keep your CE at the storage lot?
I kept 420 here til I got this
Probably gonna keep 420 at home

you are scaring me
How
have you heard of these buses that made by the crown bus company there rear engine think some are mid engine there round they look like twinkies
Your turbo failed
No it’s pretty healthy in this bus
It’s just worn out and has a ton of blowby through the cylinders
@@ThatOneLT1I’m surprised it still runs and has enough compression to operate.
