Hi everyone, here's a small tutorial to make a greyscale heightmap from real terrain with google for MxSimulator (or other thing).
Hope it'll help you.
For MxSimulator, you just need to do scale and terrain.hf (that I don't know for the moment)

it still works. I also used inspect element to remove all the google maps icons to just get the raw texture
You should really post a solution to this error: Function MID parameter 3 value is negative. It should be positive or zero.

@eeklarthing6264 I used USGS to get the heightmap, I don’t know how to get the satellite color map to match it over the height map, all the satellite option are unavailable for the region I want.
There isn't a "Map" mode. Maybe you meant "Terrain" mode.
Thankyou for this heads up. Problem is, I click on render and the final render of the height map is missing various blocks of information. Seems a bit janky for me.
