    ZBLS and ZBLL are steps of the ZB method, so it is full step.

    • @STUCUBE
      @STUCUBE  7 месяцев назад +1

      It’s an interesting debate for sure. What if I inserted the pair normally and got eo then got did a coll and got a “pll skip” that was technically a zb?

    • @Eric___X
      @Eric___X 7 месяцев назад

      @@STUCUBE I think it has to depend on the person who does, I would say the solve is full-step if the person knows all the ZB for that oll case

    • @pepkin88
      @pepkin88 7 месяцев назад +1

      What I meant was, you showed a person using a ZB method, it's a full step solution for her.
      I'd argue further. Even if you know only a subset of ZBLLs, like a U set, I'd still call a solve with such U case a full step one. Why? Because in that solve you covered every step of that branch of your method.
      However, if you had a Sune case for example, and you don't know all the Sune ZBLLs, but you happened to have a cube solved after doing a Sune, that would mean a PLL skip and not a full step solve.

    • @STUCUBE
      @STUCUBE  7 месяцев назад

      I think it’s interesting to see what people define as full step. For example, I could get eo by inserting the pair normally and then do a coll and get a “pll skip” and it would technically count as fullstep

    tymon said that zb would probably be slower for him

  • @SamSpeedCubes
    @SamSpeedCubes 7 месяцев назад

    I think it probably would’ve been about the same time with the forced eo, because he was most likely able to predict the oll during f2l and the pll during oll, and even if he recognized forced eo in inspection (which he could’ve done if he could’ve predicted the last pair being 2 gen) he still would’ve had a pause in ll (and it might even be slower if he tried to force eo without inspection help)
    Edit: yes I did make this comment before finishing the video

    • @SlightSmile
      @SlightSmile 7 месяцев назад +1

      tbf getting high tps with roux isnt just a question of getting better with M moves, there're worse blind spots and weird ergonomics on f2b
      woulda been cool, but thats just what you have to sacrifice when you want good efficiency in your method.
