Yup! Spanish and French will hopefully come in the new few days.
Awesome job Chris! I l love the way you color graded this. What LUT did you use?
I can begin to translate it in French if you don't have anyone yet ;) Great documentary!! :D
thank you, Chris.
Max’s parents and drew’s mom are the most supportive parents I’ve ever seen
ya
Yeah, I’m blessed to also have very supportive parents. My brother has traveled the world doing what he loved, diving, and they were there with him from Germany to Cuba, they were there every step of the way. I’m glad I have such loving and supportive parents.
I don't have supporting parents
Drew's Mom seems like the coolest mom ever

Hello
You can save it tho
I've always found myself coming right back to this video since the day it came out, and just watching the entire thing over and over again :)
I downloaded this and im watching it from to time i just love this doc
Absolutely amazing job Chris, great stories told wonderfully.

I love your videos TPC!!!
Stumbled upon this. I average 12-14 and have been doing this since 7th grade (I'm 19). I was always satisfied with my times but this inspired me to continue my dream to average sub 10 and, if possible, become good enough to achieve my own white cubicle jacket that I remember wanting since I found the cubicle site. Thanks for this video it's amazing.
How's it going?
Amazing, Chris! I love it! This so eloquently shows how cubing has impacted the lives of so many people. As someone with social anxiety, one of the most nerve-wracking times for me was just before going to my first competition. I was so nervous and scared because I didn't know anyone there. But when I first started talking to people, all of my fears melted away, and to this day it remains as one of the most fun experiences of my life. I live in rural, northwestern Minnesota, and there is *nobody* around who cubes, and so for me to be able to go and spend an entire day with people who share the same passion and love as I do is something I can't pass up, and is something I will continue to cherish forever. Thank you so much for this, Chris!
It sucks that you can only leave one like on a masterpiece like this.
Much love, and keep cubing. I had a cube in my hand as I watched this.
This doc got me proper emotional and then amplified from max's story onwards, im tearing up from Emotional Joy.
I'm crying because it's over.

Don't cry because it's over, be happy it happened.

Max's story really touched me. I have a friend who also has autism who really finds cubing to be interesting, i can definetly see a correlation here
From a 51 year old ROUXber (relatively new to speedcubing)...thanks a million for creating/releasing this video.
It made working for and attending a cubing competition (as a competitor) a no-brainer decision.
It also gave lots of insight into the mind of the average aged cuber. Thanks, again.
I started cubing at 26. Started because of the movie, the pursuit of happiness.
I have Asperger’s and the story of Max Park inspires me.
auouymous What ?
They removed asperger's in 2013 and now everyone just has various levels of autism. Those who had asperger's are on the high end of the autism scale. It is probably easier for doctors to tell parents their kid has high-functioning autism than it is to tell them their kid has asperger's, and then explain that asperger's is just high-functioning autism.
auouymous does it matter? You're just being pedantic

this is about the sixth time i have watched this and the impact it has on me never has and never will go away, cause it is such an inspirational video and always inspires me in a way that i cannot describe. The impact it has on a person is just indescribable and that's why i watch it over and over. It is just so well done and that is a real talent there Chris. Thank you for this gift that you gave to the community.
Absolutely amazing, brought some tears to my eyes and truly makes me feel grateful to be a part of such a beautiful community. (: Wonderful work, Chris and anyone else who helped along the way!
I started cubing like 2 and a half years ago, and i stopped a few months ago but this documentary makes me wish i never stopped
that. was. the. best. thing. i've. ever. seen!! this brought tears into my eyes and a giant smile on my face and i love it! chris, this is a masterpiece..i can not put it in words! it has touched me deeply seeing max's and drew's storys since they are the ones that i look up to and that i admire.. not only will this be my number 1 video that i will watch when i'm down but also when i somewhere in the future might not be able to see the reason to continue cubing! this motivated me sooo much to keep on doing what i love and keep on improving in what i do! if it's cubing or school or anything other.. i loved every seconds! i have to admit that you just created the gateway for me to see my safe place..my feel-well-zone that is cubing and especially the cubing community! i love you Chris and aaall the others that took part in this...max and drew for setting my goals and giving me hope...feliks for teaching me with your videos.... phil for supplying and helping so many of us.. and all the cubers out there for being here in this community to keep it alive and spread it all over the world for that many others get to experience the joy that is cubing.. who knows..maybe a future WR holder will get into cubing only due to this video..thank you all for being there
ikr, such a touching film by Chris
Thank you for this. I've been into cubes and twisty puzzles for over 10 years, and have been quite happy with my sub-30 times. There aren't many speedcubers in the Philippines, and far fewer competitions. Anyway, I've been keeping tabs on records and innovations and recently decided that I want to take cubing more seriously and improve. All that being said, this documentary is timely and encapsulates the beauty of the hobby. Cheers!
well.... we(philippines) now hold the Asian record avg🤣
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG IVE WAITED FOR THIS I AM SO EXCITED!!!
Just got my first cube and I'm not super into doing it _fast,_ but I'm enjoying this, especially seeing how happy the solvers are when they finish it. I got mine because I thought it would finally be enough sensory stimulation for me (touching and fidgeting with it, hearing it click, looking at all the colors, and then being able to sort it by color), and I was right, so I'm really happy with it. I think I'll slowly get into other areas of the subject more as time goes on.
Thx a lot to Chris for that wonderful movie, to everyone who worked on it and thecubicle to support it.
Love & gratitude.
phenomenal video! loved every minute of it... lots of good memories in this!
JustKeepCubing where have u been ;-;
i REALLY love this documentary chris!! The part about Max Parks hits me hard because I know what he has gone through because I am also on the spectrum I wish that I picked up the hobby when I was a lot younger learned how to solve it when i was younger. It’s helped me in so many ways just by speed solving.
Is it just me or was I cubing during the whole thing
so was I
I did a 2-7 relay a few times
i was getting a pretty good average
Umm... I was watching this while doing maintenance on my cubes... does that count?
@@nickcalingo3309 good enough
This is amazing!. Chris you really did an amazing job. Seeing how these people have managed to overcome their challenges really makes me more inspired and connected with the community. I have loads of nerves and feel awkward when I cube, but this gives me confidence into opening up to the community and giving back to all who are just as in love with the sport as I am. Awesome job ChiRS. I hope that Max continues to learn how to socialize, that Phil continues to be happy with what he does, that Drew continues to have passion and love for cubing, that all cuber make this community grow and preserve as a welcoming family.
RUclips should remove the dislike button for this video
They kinda don't have to tbth, there's like a 1000:9 like:dislike ratio on it right now
Honestly, I do not get why somebody would dislike this video.
Lol cubing is gay

I have always struggled with identifying with people and found my home while cubing. The portion about Drew is almost identical to me. Fascinating documentary thank you for producing it.
This video deserves hundreds of millions of views!
This is the best documentary I have ever watched! Amazing Job Chris and keep up the amazing work!
The 206 dislikes are from people who 'just peel the stickers off
Nah they peel them off and still can't solve it
No that's not true, they all thought the dislike button was a "dis I like" button
Absolutely Incredible. This is why TheCubicle is the best.
Please do a second part, I love it, I don't know how a documentary can be as beautiful and interesting
I really want to go to my first cubing competition but I am afraid of doing very poorly. My PB on 3x3 is 26.56 and my PB for 2x2 is 4.33. But I watch a ton of people who get like 1 second on 2x2 and like 5 seconds on 3x3 so I'm really scared of getting scolded for being bad. So I just wanted some people to give me advice. Anyways, this video really motivated my to get better at cubing!
How do you enter a competition anyways?
Do it. I’m going to my first on Saturday and I’m even slower than you.
Bro I got yelled at for getting a nine minute solve once at a comp
Pocket God check on the wca website for competitions near you
I average around a minute on 3x3 and have just signed up for my first comp.

I love this community. The speed cubing community is the only community where I belong.
This documentary was amazing... My god. I loved every moment. The camerawork was phenomenal, and I love how it was done.
Like this comment if you had a cube in your hand while watching this video
I'm so proud of this community
At first, I wasn't very confident to be the best in the world but because of this video, it inspires me to work hard and be part of a growing community. Thank you Chris for your great efforts to your video and thank you to the speedcubing community as a whole :)
Awesome narration by Feliks!
He’s a pro in many ways!
Much moved by Max Park’s story.
This documentary is beyond gold! (: just saw The Netflix documentary, and your cinematography skills are unmatched, Mr. Olson!
This documentary is awesome. Chris you didn't disappoint again. Love it.
This was amazing. Thank you Cubicle for making this documentary.
This will always be my favorite video of all time.
The best movie i ever saw... Great job Chris.

I love it
It inspires me every time i watch it
I Have seen it nearly 10 times till now Love it thanks for such a great video
Everyone In this video has a fantastic story but the one who touches my heart is max how he went from autism to world champion in cubing and made his life much better that's amazing
Excellent job, congrats. Wonderful to watch and absorb. John
This is absolutely amazing! I'd watch it 10 more times
