I haven't been excited about an acoustic for a long time. This is a beauty in design, hoping it sounds great too.
Yea I love when companies release acoustic guitar related products as it’s so rare.
Well now... that potentially changes the equation for a lot of people, including me. And I just took delivery of a McPherson Sable. To my ears, on the Trey demo, they got the amplified tone right.
@@dcallan1 the Sable is amazing and sounds awesome unplugged or plugged in. I’ve thought of putting the HiFi duet in my sables but the piezo is a baggs and is voiced for the sable and it sounds amazing too.

@@Celticsaint777 Thanks! I am enjoying the sable. It really is a well built and high class guitar. The stock pickup does sound good to my ears. Not sure there's much upside to changing it out. Plus, you never know how it's going to sound in a wide open carbon fiber chamber.

One thing I`d like to mention first is: I really like the way you speak, that is by means of you`re pronouncing very clear and properly stressed!
For me as a non native speaker who is used to the british english since decades, it`s quite often difficult to understand american people when they are talking, especially when it comes to dialects (for instance when internet becomes inner net etc.)!

LR Baggs new AEG-1 Guitar seems very interesting, just a little to narrow on the nut for my saussage fingers though 🤪!
On a steel string guitar I personally prefer 44 - 44,5 mm!
Do you have any info or knowledge if they are planning on making a nylon strings model 🤔, 48 mm nut width would be fine?
I don’t but it’s something we can add to the upcoming Q&A.

It does look better than in the pics on Sweetwater. How’s the body feel to you? Looks like a dreadnaught size but half the thickness. Looking forward to your report after gigging with it. Also some sound samples would be nice.
Thin body is comfortable. The photos on Sweetwater are not up to date.
Would be nice to have a nylon string version dedicated to Kirk Sand
Is the neck laminated too? If so it would make a very stable neck.

I’m interested in this guitar as it is in a different category than the Acoustasonic with its real acoustic sound instead of sound engines by Fishman. The closest thing to this is the Fender Highway Acoustic with the magnetic sound hole pickup. This guitar sounds so much better. Can’t wait to hear more about it from you Aaron!
Yes this is all analogue and had long battery life. Of course the Fender has the magnetic pickup which can be fun.
I was just a week away from purchasing a Maton but now I need to know what this Baggs is all about!

I just noticed that Quad Cortex! i have one too and it's awesome!
I’ve always loved it but since 3.0 and now using it as my audio interface it is out of this world!
@@aaronshortmusic I haven't done none of the updates on mine yet. Kinda scared to. I don't know how to back it up on a cloud, which they say you need to do before the updates.

@@aaronshortmusic oh awesome, I'm looking at getting my first proper acoustic guitar in a few weeks after playing a £50 acoustic for 16 years (just a hobby). Looking to spend around £2k so I'm really torn between Dowina or a Furch Yellow but at the shop Dowina have this stunning Honduran Mahogany piece I'm eyeing up but I'll play lots of shapes and tonewoods and see what speaks to me.

How do you maintain this in terms of humidity? Room humidity?
I would just humidify the room but you could also keep a humidipak in the case as well if needed.

No but they do make an AEG and I did tell LR Baggs that.

It’s made by Crafter.
I have a crafter that looks similar to a Taylor T5 but sounds better. It’s a good guitar.

I skipped thru as fast as I could, just enough to guess the subject contents, but not enough to listen and get disappointed that I wasn't going to hear the guitar (as if the video was saying, "Got you," if I had of). Ha, Ha, Ha, got you, instead. "...I saw the train a rolling, ..."
You could have just read the video title and then you would have been prepared for it.
