As someone who is partially disabled this would be fantastic for me gigging my acoustic tunes, looks lightweight, comfortable, sounds UNBELIEVABLE. Just got to save up my pennies, see yous in the future 🎶📈
This is an amazing sounding acoustic/electric! I’ve pretty well decided the HiFi Duet is the pickup I’m going to install in my Atkin OOO-37, I think it will carry the best tone of the guitar.
Probably one of the most natural sounding pickups and stage acoustics out there I’d like to be able to send out a trs output and process the mic and hi-fi separately. And add a 2nd output for a magnetic pickup
They believe pretty strongly about using a crossover for their mic/pickup combos. I asked about this. I don’t expect them to make a stereo out an option in the future :(.
Hello, for the past 13 or so years, we have decided to keep a mono signal out. The crossover is very sophistocated and would be a huge challenge for most people to mix properly. It has to do with how the pickups and microphone interact at certain frequencies. We spent the past couple of years tuning this system in a variety of systems. It is so complicated! but we want it to be easy for people to get a great sound without spending a ton of time messing with things. We hope you understand!
@@lrbaggsmedia I understand the logic…I wonder if you could simply have a switch to turn the crossover on and off (I know nothing about electronics, just know how to play).
5:506:14 The Sound of the Strummed & Arpegiate Passages with the Microphone fully on Are utterly Superlative......!!!!! 7:40 And the 70/30 mix of the the Microphone and Pickup Sounds Beautiful....!!!! :)
That's some mighty fine picking there. Let's see a demo of it playd at "stage volume". Can it be played without feedback as well as the Kiesel CC275 can be?
I was hoping he would play a few runs on it not mic'd at all. Does it have any sound? Considering I would want to practice in a quiet area of the house.
It sounds amazing, and it's remarkably affordable at $1599. I think it would look better (to me, anyway) if the "puck" in the sound hole was a darker color, like the fingerboard.
Idk what you are saying. Doesn't sound very good to me. Sounds like an acoustasonic to me. It's also tough to get a real feel for the sound when it's plugged into an amp. Crank the reverb up and you just hear that.
Great at lead lines! I know Trey can pound at rhythm with incredible stamina and dynamics... He seems to be holding back and limiting open chord strumming as if he's not as confident in the guitar's strumming ability. Overall sounds the best I've heard in the thin body acoustic/electric category!
I'd like to hear it without the fast aggressive flat picking licks too. They are impressive but I want to hear chords too. All that said, I already placed a pre-order.
Love the sounds coming out of this guitar. I'd love to see a torrefied sitka and Mahogany/rosewood short scale sun burst model as well, maybe a OM/000 body shape shorter scale? Awesome!!
The real test for acoustic is strumming, he barely throws a few quick light strums in, doesn't sound that pure from what I can catch, but would be good for some styles
Need some more people with better styles to demo this acoustic, hard to listen all the way through with someone largely just playing up and down scales at a mundane tempo... 😑
This would be immediately useful off the shelf to gig.
LR Baggs has a winner right there. No disrespect, but I am surprised at how good they sound. Great demo and great guitar.
Crafter are kind of underrated tbh.

That sunburst is beautiful 😍
In the Near Future I wish to See the Nylon Guitar from Lrbaggs ... this is a true great Guitar Idea
So this is what the Fender Highway Series aspires to be?

@lrbaggs …but you should make it an option!!!
This guitar sounds pretty good! I was doubtful initially by the look of it.

That being said I’ll probably get the Duet soon

This is amazing. I’m waiting for a 00-12 fret.
Sweet. If this guitar makes an amateur like me play like you, then I place my order.

Remarkably affordable? Oh brother...
@@LegsON Compared to the guitars that Trey Hensley usually plays, I think $1599 is a good deal.

Immediately what I thought. The sound hole should be black, otherwise, it’s all I look at because it looks like a coaster.
Why not buy one and stain the "puck" to personalize it? A luthier could do that pretty easily. I agree, it would look good a little darker.
What is it running through in the demo?
Lovely
Totally unplugged how does it sound?
Did you notice a difference i n sound between the torrifed top and the others?
What pedal are you playing this thru? just wondering if there any other gain adjustment or EQ'ing GOING ON
How is the percussion sound of this guitar?
Is there a knob I can turn up to make me play like him? Great playing 🙂

@@lrbaggsmedia So Harsh!😂 But seriously... we want one.
Is it solid top?
Pretty neat
What is the signal chain here? DI straight to DAW? Reverb from the guitar or DAW? WHAT am I hearing, specifically?
@lrbaggsmedia what was the signal chain for this video? Straight into a DAW? Any post-processing? Thanks!
Can you please tell us nut width and string spacing @ bridge?
sweetwater says: Nut Width: 1.692" nothing on bridge spacing. Shame its not 1 3/4"!
copy and pasted from website Nut Width: 1.7” (43mm)
That's what happens when a pickup company builds guitars too. Simply spectacular and amazing.
Built by Crafter in Korea. But they are decent guitars.
This destroys an Acoustasonic. I know it's a long shot, but please offer a left hand model.
You are 1000% correct 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Destroy is still an understatement. This is just another level 🙌🏼🙌🏼. Dont knpw the price though cause I couldnt find it here in my region 🥲🥲
It blows the Highway Series out of the water, for sure, but this isn’t really comparable to the Acoustasonic. Totally different instruments.
Damn, you blew the acoustasonic out of the water 😂 most natural sounding AEG i've heard. Hands down. Fair price too, love for that.
thats because acoustasonic is an electric with an acoustic setting. This is just a straight up pure acoustic electric

I’m astounded at the absurdity of this comment. Trey is a MASTER !!!!!! And he displays it right here
At that price I hope it's atleast made in USA
You think it's a lot? I can't tell why 1600 would be too much for what it offers.
Made in South Korea, according to a comment on their other video featuring this guitar.
Yep, the guitar is made in Korea by Crafter
Ibanez has a lot of AEG model my dear LR Baggs.
Yeah, seems neither brand has enough creativity to think of something cooler than "Acoustic Electric Guitar" lol
Sounds fantastic..soundhole is horrible
sound very bad for me.......I go back to my furch vintage omsr....
No, that’s all I can say
