- A cover of ‘’Forgotten Vale’’, one of the four compositions by Jeremy Soule that were added in the Dawnguard DLC soundtrack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It has a darker, more somber sound than the original Skyrim soundtrack, appropriate to the tragic history of the snow elves. Had a lot of fun with this one, enjoy!

What music can you find on this channel:
⛰️Fantasy music
Downtempo, relaxing tracks that make you get engrossed in fantasy plots, yet keep you relaxed at the same time. It's a perfect reading fantasy-friendly music genre, and awesome if you love to meditate. Like books and movies categorized under the same moniker, it sparks a sense of wonder, imagination, magic and other-worldliness.
This atmospheric music is inspired by enormous mountain vistas, starry skies, vast oceans and other grand and otherworldly places. It can calm the nerves, provide inspiration during homework studies or writing and creates a wonderful atmosphere no matter where you are.
🎼Mockups
Covers and suites of my favorite video game and film soundtracks, mainly of the elder scrolls oblivion and skyrim, the hobbit, the lord of the rings and the witcher 3, using the software FL Studio and MIDI controllers.

Looking forward to this one, the Snow Elves are one of my favourites and the mournful music in the vale was one of the reasons I suspect.
Oh yeah mine too. The lore of the snow elves is just so mysterious, i love it
The atmosphere and landscapes of the vale was also fantastic.
Jeremy Soule said this song came to him in a dream. Amazing stuff
Yeah I know, and it reflects in the music
Cant wait for this one! I've been trying to do this one myself too :O
That's cool :D excited to hear it
Just looked at your channel and I would be excited as well.
Right now my hair is standing on end,,,,,,great 👏👏👏💘
Last remnants of a fallen civilisation
Great work! I never really realized how much of the Lord of the Rings writing style was in this track until your version here. Maybe because the choir is more prominent? Either way, love that aspect of the original and this one.
That's an acute observation! Thank you
Love it. Please make a rendition of Skyrim Atmosphere sir, we all need it in our lives
Will think about it!
Hello again. Turns out this rendition is so great that I like it even more than the original. Is there some way I can listen to this at the max quality possible? Went to spotify but didn't find it.
Wow, that means a lot, really glad you enjoy it! You can find it on Spotify here: open.spotify.com/track/4kblN6ozsPanWm6E6EhsKx?si=c9ce091a50bd4197
@@DreymaComposer Thanks! Looking forward to more stuff you produce :)
I FOUND YOU!! I make cozy Skyrim hiking videos and I found your music on Spotify and I love it so much!!
Cool, thanks for checking it out!
Okay. I love it. It sounds exactly how i imagined it, especially at the part with those voices. I always wanted to hear those voices louder. This is great. Thank you.
Cool! Glad you enjoy. Was certainly lots of fun making this one.
❤
;)
Please tell me what vsts u use?
The closest we're likely to get to having the Dawnguard/Dragonborn OST available for purchase. Great work, Dreyma! Would love to hear more of it in the future, maybe Exploring #11 from Dragonborn? Maybe you could even give it a name that isn't so horribly bland. Looking forward to the next two projects you've got in store.
Well you're in luck as I was planning to upload a mockup of that piece anyway as my next Skyrim upload :D
It's called ''The Moesring Mountains'' which Soule titled in one of his old facebook posts. If you want I can give you the names to the other ones too :)
@@DreymaComposer Excellent, can't wait to hear it! And yeah, I'd love to know what the other names are, thanks.
@@davidmartin9513 OK, here goes:
08 is Telvanni Tower
09 is Under Redoran Watch
10 is Ashfall.
Those are great titles. Did that Facebook post happen to mention why they didn’t end up as the ‘official’ titles?
@@davidmartin9513 don't remember, that was many years ago unfortunately
Sounds great! As if it is a different recording by the same composer. I'd love to add this to the Forgotten Vale audio list, to add a slight variation.
I can also imagine some variations of the same song; can you imagine oblivion's Peace of Akatosh, but slowed down and with the instrumentals from the Forgotten Vale soundtrack? Rename it to Peace of Auriel and you'd have a Snow Elven version of the song.
Even oblivions Auriels Ascension could work as a variant, though it is a bit more light compared to the mournfull tones of the Vale.
That's a great idea!
Though it may make the original Vale music lose some of its' uniqueness.
That is also very true. It is perfect for where it plays
