Thanks so much for making this video. I needed to replace sprockets and chain on my 2006 R6 and your detailed video was invaluable to me. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate your video with such good descriptions of what you’re doing. Cheers Bros!
New question does it matter on the chain? I was going to use your site but I feel Amazon has the grip on everything. I just need to a new Chain. Spocket i feel will make it for at least 3k more miles or even more
@@milkinc.8308 as long as it has equal to or more then OEM links you’ll be good. Can always cut one off. I just went with an OEM replacement type of kit
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh WTF, that's weird because I checked Google and it had said that the stock sprockets for our bikes were a 16 front and a 48 in the rear.. i got the same bike..

May the force be with you!!
I've never saw a chain that toasted. Good video regardless
I think it's the original chain to be honest lol
Well this was interesting. Great video
Time for some bike upgrades!

I LOVE YOU BRO , YOU SAVE ME , CHEERS FROM CHILE
Legend !
Thanks for checking out the video
Good video. Perfect timing as i recently got my 07 r6. Is the set up for chain and sprocket size the same? Appreciate any info
I would check your specs but from what I know it’s a 16/48 I personally run a 16/49 on mine (09’ R6S)
👌🏼 THANKS
No problem!
What was the torque specs for the sprocket nuts
Did you hear about the bike for sweet potatoes it’s called a Yam-aha
Lol 😂
Hello! What’s the difference between DID525V8-114 and DID525V11-114. ??? Needing this info asap please
what was the point of grinding off the head of the pin, if you had a chain breaker ...
The head is beveled. The chain tool can't push that through
That's how you do a tutorial
Glad you enjoyed it!
How did the chain hold up?
Never had an issue. Recently sold the bike and the new owner has been doing track days with it.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks brother

I'm sure amazon has good ones. This is just one I wanted to use
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Sorry, so for my DID 525VO does it matter on the link? I looked in the Service Manual and it's 116 Correct?

How is no one gonna mention the R8 just chilling there
Lol, we have an R8 playlist if you want to check out all the videos on it!
What is your top speed after doing this sprocket conversion??
Same as stock. I did the stock size sprockets. I mentioned that this was a direct replacement kit

Nice bro 🇯🇵❤️
Glad you enjoyed this R6 video!
Cna you put torque specs in the videos.. searching through the manual is a pain in the ass lol
I didn't really do any specific torque specs. Just do them nice and tight and you should be good. About 20 pounds or so
nice.. 👍👍
Thanks!
Can i put a 05 plat on a o l0 plat
Can you reword that? No idea what that is or means.
Torque spec for front sprocket?
Can't remember exactly. Maybe 40 pounds or so. I just did nice and tight and had no issues
does this work for a 2003
Possible. You'll have to look into the 2003 specs to see what yours needs
nice method . 8:58
Glad you liked it!
