“You cannot kill someone fast enough with a knife” might be the most badass shit IV heard in a while.
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat thinking about creating space.
I own two. They are super and I'd never be without one. I'm carrying one now. They are great. Thompson has done us all a favor. I don't know the guy. He doesn't know me. I'm just a very satisfied customer.

Are people crying about 90 bucks? That's what a good blade costs, and Benchmade is top notch. I have a Benchmade Griptilian that I got 7 years ago before my first tour. Carry it and use it every single day, including 3 combat tours, still gets razor blade sharp. You get what you pay for when it comes to knives.
101st Airborne, 2-320th FAR "Balls of the Eagle"
90 is cheap for a good blade , ppl don't appreciate quality work.
While I agree the craftsmanship is there, I think it is not needed. People killed each other with poorly alloyed steels for centuries and it got the job done. In the end you just have a sharpened piece of metal. A $10 stainless steel one piece knife serves it's role just fine. Heck, you can even weld a section of 1" pipe to the end as needed and you get the same deal as this thing.
Salad Tongs- THANK YOU for your service. I salute you!!! I believe in that motto. You get what you pay for. I honestly like
Ka-bar fighting knives, medium size blade like 9-12inches or the gerber strong arm. They are both ass hat sharp. The gerber cut through my flesh and my bone like a warm knife through butter. There about $100 each. I would be happy to carry either one of the knifes, that I just mentioned on my person for protection/self-defense... They'd be perfect for me to carry. Then i'd carry 2, 3 1/2 in, push daggers for back ups. If the mags run out or my primary blade gets fouled up and is to fubar use, or rules of engagement wont allow the fire arm. Then you pull the double push daggers out.
Finally....FINALLY someone who understands the true dynamics of CQB. This vid is so much more than just a product review. Superb product no doubt but this demonstration illustrates the importance of getting a weapon "IN TO BATTERY" quickly with less effort. Too many idiots have this delusional idea that in a self-defense lethal force encounter that they will somehow know in advance and clearly see the target approach from a distance. WRONG. An aggressor could be on you in an instant!
CHANGED THE CULTURE OF KNIFE FIGHTING. LOVE IT! CARRIED IT FOR YEARS! NOT MUCH BETTER JUST DIFFERENT!!
Wicked little blade! Nice, smart techniques. Great video!
Great demonstration
Un instructor de lucha con cuchillos me convenció de comprar este dispositivo. Nunca lo demostró, pero siempre estuvo con él. Si tienes las habilidades, entonces un destornillador es un arma mortal.
It's a wonderful design. I can't find one flaw in this design. It's lightweight, it's has good retention, it has good piercing ability, it's discrete meaning other people and perps won't even know it's a knife, it allows to be carry inside the waistband, outside the waistband, on your pocket, on your boot, on your molle vest, around your neck. The only thing I don't like is the steel. The steel is not compatible with the price. The steel should be better or the price come down to lets say $50.
Боевые ножи многие фирмы делают из стали 420 или 440 с. Просто и надёжно .
@@viktorruss bacana demais. Vou responder em português igual a um idiota ao invés de falar inglês como todo mundo nos comentários.
Great knife, great price, I just wish benchmade used a little better steel. But 440C is still good.

Great post.
What a great defensive tool! Gonna get me one...maybe two.
"...wait for him to bleed out..." or you can strike them where it'll really hurt (i.e. jugular, heart, straight down behind the collarbone, yes, etc.)
Thank you.
Real good piece of equipment. I carry mine everywhere that I legally can.
If you want better steel go Spartan Blades CQB knife
The clip needs to be tighter/stronger than the release in the holster guy!!! The whole carrier/holster comes out! which essentially turns my knfe into the trainer knife!!
Jerry Morelos get a thicker belt dude..
I agree, people seem to not want to find a problem with this knife.
Bought one yesterday, very uncomfortable to carry and handle. Going to return it later today.
I really appreciate the S.O.C.P Dagger. Please forgive me for asking but I've noticed that the S.O.C.P Mini sheath holds better due to the clip design which has at the bottom two small bent in metal tabs to hold the sheath in place tighter enabling you to pull out the S.O.C.P. more easily without the sheath coming out with it. I noticed the larger socp chief clips are not designed the same way maybe they are and I haven't seen them but the ones I've seen the clips are not as good as the mini socp. Advise if possible thank you we like to see the same clip on the larger socp she's has the minis have just a thought.
To the people saying to just drop it.
Wow. Well, the perp could pick it up, or one of his friends can while you're busy.
What stops the bad gut from taking your pistol?
Uhh probably being stabbed with a fucking knife
Carrying one of your knives now and feeling better than the tactic oil guys with Rambo knives on their vest
Its falls out of the sheath that sucks I loved the everything about it besides it says you can nitpick knives it you can and aggressive movement while upside down it falls out I just ordered the benchmade push dagger instead
It falls out that easily?
Well carry it right side up
Im so confused by his accent. He sounds like he's attempting a mix of Israeli, Arkansas and Baltimore.
Same, very interesting
That's a Portuguese accent
It's not an "accent". I would say he was either born partially deaf or with a speech impediment like a cleft palate; serving in the military likely eleminates the possibility of the first so yeah, speech impediment. It's what he's saying that has value, not how he says it.
Some news for Greg: when I was stabbed in the leg I didn't even realize it. My point is - wouldn't it be more to the purpose (creating space, not killing) to make the tool more like a tactical pen, not a dagger. Just to inflict pain, not penetrate insignificantly?
yes getting stabbed with a pen might hurt more than with a blade lol
@@keaponlaffin6737 Exactly. That's why I would prefer creating space with SOCP rescue tool rather than a dagger
They use D2 steel for this awesome knife!!!!
Is your life worth 90 bucks ask that them say is a tool worth it. If you don't need it whatcha here for
Has anyone ever thought of just dropping the knife? You can always pick it up after the enemy has been dealt with right?
you might drop it in doodie man, better hold onto it
In the case of 1 on 1...yes
If dropping the knife means you can access your firearm and then kill the enemy. Then yes.
In a situation of more than one enemy. Then no, of course not.
3:12 looks like 2 gays
Y does he talk like that
These things are way overpriced for what they are and what they're made of.
Maybe you think so, because you're used to buying cheap chinese knives, made by someone ripping off some other person's design, using bad materials?
brottarnacke Not all rip off knives are Chinese. That's just a stereotype.
Dude everything is overpriced, do you honestly think you're going to wake up tomorrow and shit is going to be cheaper? Nothing is made to last forever and the price of everything always goes up... not down.
So you sell it for $ 115 but you can find it for $ 18 at wish!!!
I sure hope you did not buy one off wish, its a scam site. You are not going to get a real one
