Lovely selection of great photos. Was on hols there eary last year. Will back in a year or so. Too nice a place to away from for too long. Thanks a lot

Thank you, I took these photographs on my old camera. I have plenty of more shots on my new camera and I plan to create a new video at some point in the future.
It's a shame that we can't go there for the duration of the Corona Virus pandemic! I can see the Isle of Wight when I go for a jog in the mornings but actually getting there is an impossibility! England's smallest County has much to offer to the discerning visitor!
You can't get down to Luccombe Bay anymore - it's been closed off for a few years due to landslips. Great to see how it used to look - I went down there to take some pictures a few years back. I've been to all these places - many of them this summer. I seem to recognise Laundry Lane but the only one listed in the guide map is in Newport. Surely it can't be there? There was a land slippage this August at Atherfield. Some very nice pictures here Laurence. Love the bluebells near the end. I filmed them there last year and the year before. Newtown Creek is a nice place to film - I get the feeling you like it there along with St. Catherine's Point. Pity Newtown is so far off a bus route and, therefore, hard to get to without a car. I'm sure those gravestones you show are at the cemetary at Clatterford - just outside Carisbrooke and Newport. I passed by it this September. There's a deer park nearby too. Chale Bay at 6:23 looks lovely - a great pity the access steps at Whale Chine have been closed for some time. 7:30 - I don't think this is taken from Stenbury Down. It's Appuldurcombe Down - near the obelisk and the picture is looking towards Godshill - I've taken it 2/3 times over the years. I think you can just see the church on the extreme left of the shot. Stenbury Down (10:25 is correct!). Luccombe Down is especially nice looking towards Wroxall. 13:46 - the lovely Fisherman's Cottage pub down on the beach. It was so busy there this year with people wanting food with 50% off that it took 20 minutes to get a beer!
Which path did you go down on? I tried one, went so far down again, past a black railing but it was just a mess (with nettles and brambles) and an what looked like a steep drop as he steps went years ago. This was August / September.
I enjoyed watching your slide show of the Isle of Wight. You take a lovely photo. I have never seen Newport look so nice!

You can get down with difficulty, or low tide from Shanklin. Did it about 2 months ago from the chine.
